Peace CJ That's ridiculous. I have already challenged anyone to offer any clear Scripture that supports a pre-tribulation rapture and 7 year tribulation and none will ever be presented. As has been noted, its a 150 year old doctrine that is now a cash cow. sw

But, consistent with this, they expected that Antichrist would be first revealed; and this idea that Christ's approaching Advent would be followed, not by the rise, but by the destruction, of Antichrist, has been held by the saints all down the centuries." I absolutely concur with this, as the Second Advent does occur this way. But the point is, Jesus Christ comes to destroy.... not alone, but with His saints, His Bride, His glorious Church, who have already been gathered to Him. Don't forget that the Church suffered a long, long period of inertia, until it was revived, and now is gathering great momentum, and has far more understanding of the scriptures by revelation of the Holy Spirit than ever before. My point is that the Church is vital, even moreso than ever. This is a matter of opinion. I see a church especially in America as borderline apostate. Sound doctrine is almost non-existant in the "churches" of America. The Purpose driven Life/church is heresy. Charismania is a circus & a show for the most part. Error is so intertwined with what little good doctrine is left that most cannot tell the difference. And the doctrine of the "rapture" leads to passivity and apathy rather than Godliness and Holiness by keeping God's people from preparing spiritually for the HARD TIMES coming soon.
