It might be well to mention here that the neurotransmitter "acetylcholine", is a B vitamin. The drugs they use now are because of the idea that people with this illness don't keep this B vitamin in their system as long and so they invent drugs to try to help with keep it in the system longer (usuallly with out ever adding the dearly needed B vit back at all) . The thing is, taking MORE vitamin B complex and including acetylcholine is simple enough to do everyday, including the other B vitamins to feed the brain and also omega 3 oils that also help the brain to function. Why not increase this vitamin when it is obvious that it helps and there may be too litte in ones system, especially with neurological illnesses, which are also suffering from nutritional deficiencies.

Also, learning about what foods supply this and other vitamins, taking an interest in how we nourish our bodies and brain.

Extended use of high doses of B vits may lower manganese. So, that should also be added.

There are many things in "pot" that I consider harmful to the body. So, I would not agree with the use of it for this particualr illness.

BUt, it is not a choice "between" medicine and nutrition. We always need good nutrition. There are also times of need for medication.

Looking at the body as WHOLE and not just in parts and the nutitional end can stave off many illnesses and also recover some health when supplementing and healthy diet are considered.
