I was just another girl at school or I was a good friend. I was never asked out on a date until college, and the first two guys to ask me out in college were guys I went to high school with - go figure! But, they were not anything but "a date" to me. There were a couple of guys in college I had some feelings for - one never went anywhere and the other fizzled out (on my part) after a short time. There was another guy I did not really like at first, but while I dated "Mr. Fizzle" me and the other guy became good friends. When "Mr Fizzle" fizzled, the other guy was there waiting for me. The love grew slowly out of a friendship. He was hooked right away, but it took awhile for me. Once I was hooked, though, I was truly hooked. This was my first real love and he is the one I married. We have been married 34 years now. I can't imagine being with anyone else. He's not perfect, and neither am I, but we make a good team. We often kid that between us we make one complete person.
