Aren't Republicans known for their sense of humor, I mean, we aren't the PC advocates the dems are. So, oh, wait, I forgot, I'm in the service and am too stupid to understand a joke made by an astute intellectual like John Kerry. Guest LadyC Posted November 1, 2006 Share Posted November 1, 2006 no way can i construe from kerry's words that they were a joke about BUSH and not an insult on our TROOPS. sorry, the words he spoke clearly indicated otherwise. maybe he said it incorrectly and meant to say it otherwise, but i doubt it. anyway, it is totally irrelevant whom he meant at this point. the bottom line is, he owes an apology to the troops. even if it was by some stretch of the imagination an 'accident', the troops were offended. and because they are, he owes them an apology. yet he flat out has refused to apologize AT ALL, and instead says bush owes the troops the apology. he's a poor excuse for a man.
