Ok folks..

I need the simplest way possible to save about 8 gallons of green tomatoes..

a gallon of them were large enough to ripen up but most are just about the size of golf to tennis balls..

What can I do with them to save them? :)

It sure would have been nice for the cold weather to have stayed off for about a week longer...

I cannot fry that many tomatoes and making pies out of them is what I will do with some but that leaves about 7 gallons to work with... :)

The peppers I can easily chop and freeze...

the corn we can eat..its fine..

HELP!!!

(wasn't there an old sci fi movie about a monster tomato?)

A raw, green tomato puree will keep in the freezer just fine!

Oh dear, looks like were going to have hundreds of greet tomatoes flying about the boards now,

along with the cheesecake, pizza and donuts.

A veritable feast!...I hasten to add..

.... but I fear it may get a little messy around here sometime very soon :)

Actually it is very good..my whole family really likes it...

except for one who was told it tasted somewhat like apple pie and he does not like apple pie so he would not even try it..

In July we had a large amount of green tomatoes that were fixing to be done in by the heat of summer so we had a lot of pie in July...

But these plants were just the plants that kept on giving..and giving and giving...well..until now...

so we are now going to have a lot of pie in November..

:wink1: green tomato pizza ? :emot-handshake:

but hopefully I will come up with a way to preserve them for future use..

I chopped up the peppers and froze them..

They come in handy in all kinds of recipes...

..
