I met this really great guy...and we spent the whole night talking. We have a lot in common...and really enjoyed eachothers company. Now, we didn't get a chance to talk until late in the evening at the after-party (after my friend *we'll call her Tiffany* had left). Now, I did know that tiffany had wanted to date this guy like 3 years ago...and she spent the better part of the evening trying to get his attention (which of course didn't work). I didn't intend on even talking to him until HE came up to me...and we really hit it off. He even asked me out to dinner this week. Now I'm afraid that Tiffany is going to be mad at me if I go out with him. but I really do want to go. Also- please keep in mind that Tiffany HAS a boyfriend...and craves attention which is why this guy thought she was acting the way she was. What do you guys think I should do? Although...i wasn't fully honest (yes I know this is bad). I told her that this guy and I had talked...but that's as far as I went. I don't know why I didn't tell her everything...but a part of me is waiting to see if there's anything even worth telling. Maybe this guy has thought about it and doesn't really want to go out with me, or maybe we'd go out on one date and decide that we weren't all that compatible. Then all I would have done is upset Tiffany over nothing. Is it such a bad idea to keep this from her until i know that she NEEDS to know? I mean I'd probably tell her either way, but I just don't want to make a big deal out of it right now. I may also be way ahead of myself...after all- men are so unpredictable...
