Well, it was admitted that "some" innocent people have their dna on the national database (making them an automatic suspect for any crime) but nobody was told, until now, that it was so many:

Time to get really "nitpicky" Akabu. I realise that you are saying this "tongue in cheek", but I must point out - in case someone gets worried thinking about something like this.

The only DNA that you would be able to get off pennies (perhaps the sweat from peoples' fingers or minute skin particles, or maybe even hair shafts) would be mitochondrial DNA. Meaning that you wouldn't be able to discriminate between people of the same maternal lineage, as this is shared by siblings and your mother.

What the FBI would need, to be of any use, is nuclear DNA. Which is only obtainable from body fluids or organs.

I do see the joke though. It reminds me of a TV programme I once saw where a FBI agent (I think it was) said to a negro character in the programme "we know all about you because the FBI keeps files on all black people in the country". The character was shocked until he realised that the FBI agent was joking.

We must help ourselves, we cannot just sit back and wait for God to do everything for us. Going by that logic, we would never even bother defending ourselves against any enemy who attacks us. We would not bother forming armies of any kind and would just "lie down and die" when faced with any adversity.

I think the Mat. 10.28 talks about a situation where we are called upon to deny God or be put to death. In that case the obvious answer is to remain loyal to God.

However, we should not just "give in" to the fact that our DNA might be on a database for no justifiable reason and that fact can be used against us at any time (persecution of Christians perhaps). DNA evidence is the easiest thing in the world to plant and if you seriously think it never happens you might like to research it a bit.
