Guest LadyC Posted November 17, 2003 Share Posted November 17, 2003 so we'll be present with the Lord. does that mean that the Lord ONLY resides in heaven? and what of those scriptures i posted... the ones that specifically forbid us from communicating with the dead, and where ghosts are described, and where it says the dead shall rise first in the rapture? are those just fantasy tales that God was spinning just to confuse us? God is present everywhere. when scripture says when we die, we will be with the Lord, it does not specify that we will be in heaven. to the contrary, it repeatedly states otherwise.
