A few other students had complained, and the days-old group had become a physical obstacle and a disruption, he said. " That's all I needed to see. Guest LadyC
they have the option of registering the group and having a classroom to hold their prayer meetings. they should do this. that way they can't complain about the weather. i don't understand why people want to do things in the most controversial way. God's work can be done without creating hardship on others or, in this case themselves.

We should sign up for prayer group or pray off school grounds, not bring attention to ourselves. Please say it isn

Guest Biblicist
Mathew 6:4-8 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 5 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. All they had to do was move their prayer group to a more discrete location.

Ma'am, Perhaps they just wanted GOD "to see" what's going on down here? I hope you realize that THIS is only the beginning! But I do agree that if the student knew they can request a special "Classroom" for their "time" SO BE IT! I'd book the room that the schools provide and have a daily reserved area to make a stand that "God will not be left out of the schools, or anywhere for all that matters." By the way, is everyone aware that the Federal Government is "minting" the "Franklin Dollar Coin" as we speak and it does NOT have "In God We Trust" on the front as previously minted! As I said, "That was only the beginning."
