Diets damage health, shows biggest ever study

I'm working on losing weight, and I don't thinkof it as dieting. I think of it as a lifestyle change, and it's working, slow but sure. I won't go back to my old ways once the weight is off.

lifestyle change... yep, that's what it is, or should be. i'll never go back to "full carb" again once my weight is off, either. i probably won't be as conscientious about avoiding tortilla chips like the plague though, or even potatoes, although i'll definitely keep a tight reign on how much of those things i eat. and pasta? well, dreamfields pasta is a great alternative.

hmmm, i'm thinking maybe i should fix some chicken alfredo tomorrow night. (we get leftover chili tonight though, i ain't cookin!)

:noidea::24::o You really cooked haggis?

Tell us more about this, experience it sounds too gross to even try to cook it!!

Hahahahahahaha did you actually tried it and Mike too how was his reaction?

hahahahahahahaha!!

Yes, I found all the ingredients and cooked it the first week we were married. The recipe was similar to the one you posted. Let me just say, it was the most nauseating experience of my life. It looked nasty, smelled absolutely horrid. I mean this thing stunk up the whole house. Mike came in and wondered if a mouse had crawled behind the wall and died!

To his credit, and to really get my goat, Mike sat down and ATE some! I tell you, I sat there fascinated as he turned a shade of green. He managed to choke down about a third of it, got up and went to the bathroom. Meanwhile, I'm sitting there cracking up. Even Sammy and Lola had left the room. You know it's true love when you cook haggis for your man and he eats it.

Glad you're enjoying this. Yes, Mike knew he was eating it. And NO, the dogs wouldn't go near it and the horses walked away from it.

I just re-read some of my comments. Y'all must think I am a real nutcase! lol
