his agenda is simply to get attention. he hates america, he thinks that no american can possibly be as good a Christian as he is, and he eats up the attention we give him by responding to his posts.

No im not, and i dont. And yes, i See a problem with Americans being christians when they vote for a guy that goes to war only to get more money for hes shares in Haliburton.

Then why do you only post articles that attack American culture and America? You never have anything good to say about America...and anytime someone says something good about America you try to counter that person.

Your double-speak might work in the middle east, where you say one thing and do another...but it doesn't work here.

I agree i might be a little to harsh, And i might have been affected by the european cultures view towards America.

But still, invading iraq was not a good move!

Most Europeans hate America and don't even know why. I gave you a VERY good reason why they do in another thread...it goes back to cultural problems that existed in those European countries before America was even formed. Europeans have ALWAYS hated America for one reason or another...until they visited America. Most European writers, who came to America and stayed here for a long period of time, loved the country. It is those who have never been here that have always hated us.

The English hated us because we were nothing more than colonials, uncivilized at that.

The French hated us because our revolution actually worked.

The Germans hated us because we accepted Jews without prejudice.

All nations hated us because we accepted their most hated citizens...and turned them into our own, accepting them and letting them live amongst us.

So if you're going to rely on European attitudes toward America, you're going to have major problems. Likewise, there are philosophical problems with Europeans as well...if you truly want to learn, just ask and I'll tell you why Europeans are wrong in their philosophical outlook. I can give you a good lesson on it.

Regardless, you say that going into Iraq was wrong. We did oust a dictator...and most of the problems we see in Iraq today are coming from no more than 30,000 people...which isn't even a fraction of Iraq's population. Now, you could be right...America could be wrong in doing what it did. My question to you is this: how does this make us evil?

This is where a working knowledge of American history would come in hand Arash. I can name three other events where America was totally wrong:

1) Allowing the institution of slavery

2) Not allowing women's sufferage (right to vote)

3) Conquest and genocide of Native Americans

In all three we were wrong, completely off the mark. Yet, watch this:

1) We allowed slavery...to a point. Then we fought a bloody Civil War over "State's Rights." At the center of the "State's Rights" issue was slavery - the Confederacy said the state had the right to decide if slavery would be allowed, while the Union said the Federal Government held that right. The Union won, and slavery was abolished. Further ramifications of racism came from this, however for the next 120 years, we worked to fix that problem too.

2) Women used the legal system to eventually gain the right to vote.

3) We eventually returned some land to the Native Americans, pay for their college now, and do what we can to help the problems we caused (though we could do more).

The pattern I hope you see is that when America makes a mess, we clean it up. Rest assured that if we were wrong for invading Iraq, at some point we will clean up our mess.

I'll be fair...I have no problem pointing out our problems...either from liberals or conservatives. At the same time, I'll highlight the good in America as well. In other words its a mess and yall can't fix it. Thats par for the course. And the next thing that will happen is the iranian leader is going to get his happy little butt up there and try to play with the big dogs and their going slap his happy butt back into the stoneage
