One of my children was given a homework assignment where she had to watch a programme and write up a synopsis of it ...her teacher did not believe that she didnt have a tv in the house and I had the greatest of pleasures in writing a letter back to said teacher telling her that we did NOT in fact have one and even if we had acquired one the programme she wanted my child to watch ( a soap ) was one of the reasons that I refused to have a tv set in the house Oh and just for the recored the reason you cannot post in some of the forums is because you do not have enough posts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I even find myself kinda tickled by a commercial every now and then. There is nothing new under the sun. Older TV programs could be just as bad as newer ones. Now its just High Definition garbage. The next time we're watching TV and we hear a cuss word or the Lord's name taken in vain...turn off the TV for an hour. The next time we're watching TV and we see alcohol or drugs being glorified...turn off the TV for an hour. The next time we're watching TV and we see graphic violence...turn off the TV for an hour.
