Brood of vipers ! How you know them ? There are children of the devil and children of God.Unfortuantely brood of vipers think they are also children of God .Jesus met a group of people like that who clamed God to be their father.But Jesus told them ;"You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginningp not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!" John;8;44

Claiming to be God's children or christians will not make one acceptable before God.The scripture says;"For the godly man ceases! For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men."Psalm;12;1 Label doesn't work.Righteousness is what counts.John the Baptist said;"Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." Luke;3;7-9

"The sinners in Zion are afraid; Fearfulness has seized the hypocrites: "Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?"
