He has many positives the Gore haters will always try to "swift-boat" him no matter what he does. I wish they would concentrate their hate on themselves and find out why they are so unhappy. May God heal them of their negativity because it has blinded them. They can't even read that this thread is for the positives of Al. Yep. People want to see the worst. They crave it. Goodness and kindness doesn't interest them half as much as garbage. Sad but true. Welcome to Worthy!!

He seems to be a good kisser. He makes a great cartoon character. Some say he can rap(that's actually under debate). Being tight with De Niro is always a plus. He he has good hair, sometimes. Good kisser eh???? Just trying to lighten this thread up. (i was just guessing all that stuff, btw)

This is the wrong one.

Guest Biblicist
Is it completely impossible to have a "political" thread where people don't end up trying to bash someone or some policy? *sigh*

He has many positives the Gore haters will always try to "swift-boat" him no matter what he does. I wish they would concentrate their hate on themselves and find out why they are so unhappy. May God heal them of their negativity because it has blinded them. They can't even read that this thread is for the positives of Al. Welcome to the board soma. OK, I can appreciate your point. It is true that Conservatives tend to jump on what they don't like about the Democrats. However, the Liberals do the same things to the Republicans. If the thread was asking people to express positive things about George Bush, Dick Cheney, or Rush Limbaugh, what positives would be said? Granted, since you are new here, I do not know your political leanings, whether you say this because you are behind Al Gore or whether because you believe in treating even your enemies with kindness, so I will not ask "Would you have anything positive to say?" My point is just that this tends to go both ways. An example for comparison is how Cheney can't be thought of without mentioning his hunting accident, or Dan Quayle can't be mentioned without his spelling error. One other positive thing about Al Gore. In the 2000 Election, more Americans voted for him than voted for George Bush. In fact, around 500,000 more Americans voted for Al Gore than George Bush. Whew, and a disaster was averted by the nearest of margins. Fortunately it's not the popular vote that counts! Al Gore...he's not actually a bad guy and seems to be able to take a ribbing pretty well. And anybody married to a person with the name "Tipper" is OK in my book.
