Brother, if I can give you one heartfelt piece of advice from another brother who has been around the spiritual block a few times it is this: be very careful about anything published by Chick Publications.

I agree with you that Catholic believers need to clean up their house. But so do Pentecostal and Charismatic believers. Rail against the love of money preached daily by the "annointed" health and wealth crowd and you will be much closer to the front lines of the current spiritual battle lines. Be righteously angry at the lives of wealth and opulence enjoyed by the "Charisma" preachers while the poor go hungry and cold. If you spend your life fighting the imagined evils of the Catholic Church you will waste your life tilting at windmills.

I think you are confused between teaching the Bible and writing your opinions based upon your understanding of theology.

Teaching the Bible involves exegesis. Exegeting the meaning of monogenes in John 1:18 is to teach the Bible.

To write a book about the "evils" of the catholic church is about expressing your opinion. That opinion is shaped by your personal theology. That theology may or may not be correct. Neverless, it is only your opinion. It is not the Word of God.

In my opinion any author who writes and uses Chick Publication as a reference is not to be taken seriously.

When we compare doctrine of the catholic church and the doctrine of the Bible, so we notice that there is big differencies between them.

Show me in the Bible those teachings of the Pope, or Mary as a Mediatrix and Redemptrix, about teaching of the mass, which is the same offering than in Calvary,?

My purpose is not to argumenting, but only tell what Bible tells and it won't tell those catholic doctrine.

You must present the doctrine of the catholic church with the verses of Bible, because only there is the truth. I hope, so that you will examine honestly, that what Bible teaches.

It is a question from the eternal salvation in other words in the question is not unimportant matter, but from the most important matter.

The Roman Catholic Church, of course, is nowhere in the Holy scriptures of Truth, and their many self-concocted tenets simply just that: self-concocted tenets. Even the Apostle Peter never claimed to be a "pope" or a member of a "papacy," but only an elder & an apostle. Period.

Re the "charismatic" element, why worry about the "third" or "fourth wave" of anything? Why not stay with the FIRST wave as enunciated (in context) in the Acts of the Holy Spirit? Actually, too, that word "charis" has reference, of course, to ALL the various spiritual gifts, not just to a very select few as underscored by the Pentecostals. Pray tell, when the genial charismatic folk hold a special weekend conference on, say, The Gift Of Helps, or, forsooth, The Gift Of Holy Administration? And, yes, yes, The Gift Of Genuine Christian Hospitality. Why are the vast majority of gifts so easily left aside by the Vineyard? Why always & ever only re healing? Excellent query.

Petri from what I gather you are trying to bring those around you out of the Catholic Chruch and to the truth of Jesus Christ. You are trying to teach that Mary is not doing all of these things today. I know nothing of the web sites you use. I assume you have many Catholics in your community. That is good to preach to them the truth of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

To me, Acts says that the gifts of the Spirit are still in operation today. No, not as John Wimber and many others use these gifts, but don't discount the gifts all together. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and leads us into all truths.

May I suggest that if you are going to put teachings on the board that you make them shorter? It is hard to read long messages. This may be one message but put a little of the message on at a time. I got lost because the message was so long and I don't have time to spend on reading long messages.

I believe you are confused about what a "charisma" is Petri:

The word "charisma" comes from the greek word charis that basically means love, so the charismas are gifts from God's love to us and the only true charismas are the ones you can receive from the Holy Spirit through the sacraments (baptism, eucharist, marriage and so on).
