Prayers for Israel/Jerusalem

This thread is for those who have a desire to pray for Jersusalem and Israel as God has instructed us in Psalms 122:6. Do not come here and try to start a debate. There are other threads for that purpose. One can come here from time to time, and just offer up prayer for Israel, the Jewish people, Jerusalem the City of the Great King, and also present prayer requests for Israel that we may pray about them as well.

Also, keep in mind that being pro-Israel, is not anti-Palestinian. Prayers that curse or demean the Palestinians are not appropriate in any forum, much less this one.

I'll start.

Abba El, Papa God,

In obedience to your Word and in accordance with your Will we offer up prayers for your nation Israel, and your land.

Father I pray that you would continue to bless your Land. I pray that the Land of Israel will continue to blossom and produce it's fruit for your people. I pray for the farmers and agricultural scientists that they will continue to find better ways to use what the Land produces, and that You will provide answers to the serious water needs in the Land. The Scriptures say that Your Eyes are upon the Land from year to year, from one end of the Land to the other. I pray that you bless the efforts of your people as they harvest what the Land produces.

I pray Father for the Jewish people of Israel, that you would send them encouragement, and strength as they go through the horrors afflicted upon them by your enemies. I father I pray for those who have been victimized by terrorism, and who have to live with missing body parts and deep emotional scars. I pray that you will make your presence known to them, and that you will show us how we can make a difference in their lives. Show us how we can reach out to these innocent children and those average people who are living with pain inflicted upon them for no other reason than the fact that they are Jews.

Father, I pray for those Jewish people who have lost loved ones, and friends to terrorism. I pray for the children who no longer have parents or siblings. I pray for those who have lost close friends. For all of these I lift up prayers and ask you to send to them peace, to send to them those who will speak comfort, who will wrap them up in love, and show them that they are not alone. Father no one should ever have to go through all that alone.

Father I pray for the doctors in Israel who are making medical breakthroughs, that would continue to guide them as they find cures for diseases, and find ways to improve the health not of just Israel but of the whole world. Father, I also ask that you protect and watch over the members of the IDF. Father give these men and women wisdom, that they would conduct themselves appropriately, that they use power responsibly, and that they would be a mighty force for good. I pray that you watch over and protect their families that are at home while they serve.

Father I pray that you will open up avenues to reach these precious people with the gospel of your Son, Yeshua. I pray that we can each take an active part in seeing precious Jewish souls come to know salvation. Reveal to each of us who is willing to be used, what we can do to love and reach our Jewish brothers and sisters. I also pray for fellow brothers and sisters who are already ministering to the Jewish people, especially those in Israel. I lift up George Whitten, whose heart is to them saved. I pray that you give him utterance to speak and minister as you would have him. I pray that you will give him the words to say at the appropriate time and place, and that he will remain steadfast and unmovable in his desire to reach Israel with the Gospel.

Father I lift up the government of Israel before you, and ask that you enlighten their eyes to see the folly of dividing up your land, and that you would make Israel's leaders bold as lions. I pray that you would direct them to make the right decisions for the sake of your people. I pray that they would stand strong against terrorism, and not give in to outside pressure, but rather defend and protect the people in their care. Father I also ask that you would put people in the Israeli government especially in the highest of offices who would make Godly decisions that are in Israel's best interests, and not the best interests of the terrorists.

All of this I ask in Yeshua's name, Amen.

Lord we pray for the peace of ALL Jerusalem. Father, we ask that the mask of Islam be ripped off and that the muslims be set free from the bondage of their hatred...from the manipulation and robbery of their leaders.

We pray that the Arabs would learn to "love thy neighbor" and end the downward spiral of violence.

We pray that You, O Lord, would raise up righteous leaders in this situation. That the jews and their cousins could rise above the violence and bless each other. We pray there would be no need for walls or checkpoints or prisons.

But most of all we pray for a revival as in days of old when the nation of Israel knew their God.

Isaiah 60

The Glory of Zion

but the LORD rises upon you

18 No longer will violence be heard in your land,

nor ruin or destruction within your borders,

"Hear, O Israel, the Lord your God, the Lord is one!"

Father, I ask for the people of Israel to have ears to hear and eyes to see, that they be returned unto the God of their fathers, and may they come to know Yeshua Hamashiach(sp?) whom you have sent.

Grant them, I pray, a heart of compassion for "the alien and strangers in their land," not to forego defending their land from terrorists, but to grant acts of love and compassion and peace to those Palestinians who have proven themselves peaceful.

Show Your glory and Your power once again in the land of Israel, we pray!

I begin this day just lifting Israel/Jerusalem up to you again Heavenly Father.

Abba El, Papa God:

I pray that your Divine peace will prevail throughout the Land of Israel today. Father, may the four quarters of Jerusalem and indeed the whole Land of Israel find rest for their weariness. My they find peace instead of terror. Father, make your presence known in your Land today. Thwart the aspirations of evil doers who seek to destroy your Land and your people.

Gather those who hope in you from the four corners of the earth. Let all the inhabitants of the world perceive and know that you are God, you alone, over all the kingdoms of the earth.

Our Father, who is in heaven, deal kindly with us for the sake of your great Name by which we are called, and fulfill for us, O Lord , our God what is written:

"At that time I will bring you in, at that time, will gather you. I will make a you a name and a praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I bring back your captivitiy before your eyes."

Return to Jerusalem your city with mercy and dwell in the midst of it as you have proclamed, and build it in a near time and in our day, a building forever. The throne of David speedily establish. Blessed are you, O Lord, builder of Jerusaelm.

Speedily cause to flourish the offspring (Yeshua) of David your servant. Let His Glory be raised up in all Israel. For your help we hope all day. Blessed are you, O Lord, who makes to fourish the horn of salvation.

I just bless your name today for those that have been faithful to take the gospel of Yeshua to the nation of Israel. I bless you for their lives, and I ask that you protect them and that you fill them with your spirit today. Give them the proper words at the proper time. Soften hearts today both Jewish and Arab that they may recieve the Word of God, and come to know Yeshua and Savior and Lord.

I ask that your peace will prevail in the Land of Israel today. I pray that your Spirit will fill the Land from one end to the other. Make your peace known in all of Jerusalem, that every quarter will be at rest.

I ask for your protection upon Israelis today from acts of terror. I pray that you will thwart the plans of the ememies of Israel and that their schemes will come back upon them. May their plans fail and may their aspiriations for destruction disentegrate like dust.

Thank you Lord for all that you are going to do today in Eretz Yisrael!!

Amen!!! Father I place myself in agreement with Nebula today, that both Jew and Gentile will be one in Messiah in Israel.

Father, I pray for all the inhabitants of the land of Israel that they might live in peace today. I pray that Jerusalem will be given a rest from its sorrow, and that more people from all four quarters will turn to you for salvation. Bring salvation to Jew and non-Jew living in Israel. Make your presence known from one end of the land to other.

MAy the name of Yeshua be glorified in all the earth...May we be worthy vessels of His glory. Help us, O Lord, to say, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do" as You did even while the nails were being driven into your hands of love.

Give us grace to love each other that You might be made known. Your word tells us plainly that the biggest revival of all time begins with Israel...and that the gospel is for the jews primarily and yet equally to the rest of the world too.

Show us how YOU would have us bring this good news to Israel. Give us each opportunities in our community to bless Israel and every son of Adam.

Let us now make straight the paths of our returning Lord, Adon Yeshua. May Jerusalem recieve her King in our lifetime!

Abba El, Papa God,

I just want to lift up the children of the Palestinians to you today. Father, while I long for the deliverance of Israel' Jews from the evil of terrorism, I also long for the delieverance of the precious young ones as well. Will you not also become their "Lion of Judah," and deliever them from the grasp of this evil regime. I pray that their little hearts and minds be washed clean of hatred and the desire to murder, and the insane desire to kill themselves in the process of destroying others.

Father, give unto these precious youngsters the joy of your Salvation. May they lose their hatred of Jews and embrace the Love of the King of the Jews.

I pray that these children will beome true followers of the only true God, and that they would grow up to well adjusted, sober, mature, and loving adults.

I ask you Father, to thwart the enemies attempts to exploit these children, and their vulnerability to influence. I pray that you would protect them from harm. I ask that the plans of the terrorists to use these children as human shields would fail. I pray that the traps that they lay for Israel will entrap them instead, let them be caught in their own snares, and their plans come to naught.

Peace upon Israel and the whole world.
