Fellow Saints,

All Praise, Honor, and Glory be unto the Lamb of God! I have for some time been involved with Gospel for Asia and have followed stuff in China. It is the country God has called me to go to when HE deems it time. Anyway, I wrote our local editor under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. I just wanted to share it with you and just start a thread about our fellow Saints under the gun.

Dear Editor,

Greetings in the Holy name of Jesus Christ! The Lord has once again inspired met to pick up pen and paper. What I shall be writing is a challenge to everyone who has an ounce of faith in Christ. What I shall be discussing will bother some goverment officials, yet I fear no man for they have no power over me, and whatever they do have has been given to them by God. The government of this country has both failed and purposely ignored some important matters. Many parts of the Church of America are also guilty of this crime. Although there are numerous topics in which I could run the ink well dry on from that statement, I shall address only one: The Persecuted Church in China.

The government winksan eye and turns its back in the name of the almighty dollar. There are what I call weak cries about Human Rights violations because you do not see any actions behind them. One simply can look at how much "Made in China" products this country contains. Did you know a good portion of those are made by imprisoned Christians? For more information on that, see the Voice of the Martyrs website. The government ismore into politics that it is the lives of over one hundred million estimated underground Christians who cry out to God for help. Our leaders rather engage in a game of chicken and try to get China to blink at its empty threats. We profess with our lips to be a Christian nation, but our deeds show us to be a nation of cowards.

Those parts of the Church in America do not seem to be much different. We sit in a land of plenty and comfort. Though the courts take them away ever so slowly, we still have the freedom to worship. Being a Christian is not the death sentence here that it is in China. There are almost a billion Chinese on their way to Hell while the Church of America stuffs itself fat off the blessings of God. The Lord does not bless us just to bless us, but also to bless others. The Persecuted Church in China needs more than just your money, more than just your prayers. The Harvest is great but the laborers are few. Untold millions are risking their lives just to worship as they want to, that reminds me of the Pilgrims. Christians in China rightnow as you read this, are being beat, tortured, starved, raped, and yes dozens will die all because they are brave enough to keep thier faith in Jesus Christ. What will the Church of America do? What will the Churches of Edgefield County do? What will our government do to liberate the truly oppressed people. The Persecuted Church not only in China, but also around the globe?
