"Hillary Clinton does not respect our people," the ad says in Spanish (original and Clinton campaign translation after the jump), referring to the lawsuit that failed today to shut down special caucus sites on Las Vegas' strip. "Hillary Clinton is shameless." Obama's spiritual mentor: "He (Clinton) did the same thing to us that he did to Monica Lewinsky." On Sunday morning - amid intensified crossfire between Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Obama over the use of race in the Democratic presidential campaign - Wright was preaching from the Gospel of John, using his powerful style to link the story of the loaves and fishes to a contemporary political message. Black Caucus divided over Obama Even though Barack Obama may become the first African-American ever to represent a major party as the nominee for president, many black lawmakers on Capitol Hill are not supporting him. Chris Matthews Apologizes to Hillary Clinton Bowing to pressure from the liberal blog Media Matters, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews spent the first five minutes of Thursday night’s "Hardball" personally apologizing to Hillary Clinton for insinuating that she owed her political success to sympathy derived from having endured Bill Clinton’s unfaithfulness.Click the links to read each story in its entirety. It just shows the campaign is getting a little dirtier. Just the same its not nearly as dirty as the Republican Primaries have been. As to why much of the Black Caucus supports Hillary, there is two reasons: 1. The Clinton's have been very active in Civil Rights their entire adult lives. 2. Pure politics, a lot of these congressman are coming up for reelection and they are going to want Bill Clinton to campaign for them.
