Yep. Both vinegar and baking soda work quite well. Just 'cook' a bowl of either mixed with water. :emot-hug:

Throw the microwave out and do NOT replace it. Make your popcorn the way G-d intended you to: on the stove top. ;)

I used soap and water when my husband "made popcorn" in the microwave! It got the smell out, but i had to use a magic eraser to get the butter stains out :thumbsup:

so which method did you use and how did it work?

Haven't tried anything yet.

I'm actually thinking about throwing it out and getting a new one...it'll probably end up in the breakroom at work...they can always use another one.

I wasn't the one making popcorn. I hate popcorn...it gets stuck in your teeth.

Instead of throwing it out I am sure there are plenty of families who would love to have one..

There are churches or organizations that would be glad to help you find a home for it..

and you would be blessing someone who does not have... :thumbsup:
