Id only one "large enough" chunk falls to our planet, we'd have more things to worry about than the end to the tides - if you know what I mean. I'll go for the possible Dinosaur Killer piece of the moon slamming into the planet. It would cure "Human Induced Climate Change" (aka Global Warming) if nothing else! Guest
ok... so if the American Navy fires their 3 modified SM-3 missiles at that malfunctioning spy satellite, miss, and hit the moon by mistake during the middle of the lunar eclipse and, BOOM!, we never see the moon again, what do we do? The only "BOOM" will be them crashing into the moon ... sorry if I missed the joke Yeah, that's what THEY want us to think - everythings perfectly normal and safe as dropping a water balloon from your third floor window. But what they don't tell you is that the person under the water balloon is not your male roomy, like you thought, but this girl who's a black-belt in karate and just had her hair done. There's a couple of seconds there where you wish you could freeze time or actually WISH you were on the moon. It's like your whole life flashes before your eyes. You know, girls can be very mean and unforgiving sometimes - I think they sometimes see very different things when looking at the moon, or even water balloons, than frogs do. I'm just sayin'. Hopper this sounds like a story for fellowship hall Oh and I voted other ...the thing is sooo easy to fix...all you have to do is get a very large unripe ( green ) cheese and a long length of elastic and replace the moon before anyone knows it has gone ...simple
