GLOBAL WARMING- this topic seems to be rather "heated" (oh i crack myself up.) but seriously, i know there is a lot of hype out there. but i want each person that reads this to think in the past 20 years how much hotter has it gotten. and please reflect back on it. if you can. if not as far back as you can.

now can anyone tell me in degrees how much has the earths temperature actually gone up since global warming allegedly began? i dont mean on one single day either. please provide a source.

it is my belief that that this "heated" topic is a farse. it aint got any hotter in my lifetime in my neck of the woods and i live in a very hot and humid area.

my question is simple. just how much hotter has it gotten?

As a humble and uneducated man I submit my intuit that the global warming "crisis" is a hoax. I am not prepared to justify that statement with reams of reports available to a discerning individual. Of course, there is going to be "some" dynamic of change to the environment by dumping pollutants into the air for a century. But when all of this is placed against the backdrop of earth and sun cycles, it can be seen that there is a cyclical event and it ebbs and flows. Earth changes are evidenced routinely in that ebb and flow. And high arctic temperatures in many stations are as cold as they ever were. My burg seems milder now than before in the sixties. But there are so many factors involved, and most of them involve trends and el nino etc. Arctic ice is apparently receding quickly enough to already be driving polar bears further north than ever. But once again, consider the sun cycles and earth cycles. Fossils are found in the arctic that determine there was a tropical climate there at one time. You can find other sources that state there is an advancing ice age. I plan to live and be and allow for the fallibility of man who thinks they are the determining factor in everything.

Have you thought that Al Gore is a multi millionaire who struck on his personal way to make a statement, acheive notoriety, and continue in a lavish lifestyle, all the while using his influence as a "has been" in politics? And as he tells one and all of the need to change...he owns multiple homes and vehicles and aircraft etc? Poor me to be so responsible for the downfall of mankind when I throw out my garbage. Yet he throws out this garbage.

The thing is it opens up a spectrum of culpability. For every dynamic of life has it's contenders and contentions. If someone promotes a thing that dynamically affects mindsets then that person holds sway to the world. If you do not want to denigrate those powers, then be sufficed in your assessment. The world is going to go on turning one way or the other, irregardless of what a man thinks about society's irregularities. I am not so much as a fly on the wall in that process. I can only imagine both the past and the future and I can only guess at the present. and how it portends as respecting any of these things. I just do not like it when someone expostulates his brand x truth as Al Gore does. For it is refutable.

Here's a question I've always had concerning Global Warming. If Global Warming is to be causing the earth to get warmer, then how come it's been getting cooler here?? I've noticed it here the last 2 or 3 years. Summers are much more milder and winters are much more colder, with more snow and ice then previous years

Because global warming is a hoax. It is reported routinely that weather anomalies occur and we can have mild winters and extra cold winters. I have milder winters than 30 years ago here. But that will change. I saw a recent thing about the effects of the sun on our planet, and most of the things we think are earth related actually start with the sun. We are a captive to it and if it ever blows up you will have global warming Ala crispy critters. That will be true global warming.

I have done alot of research on this so called "phenominom' and global warming is definitely a hoax. Our earth goes through warming and cooling cycles every 20 years or so. at the moment it is actually going through a cooling cycle. There was such a huge emphasis on global warming however that the whole cooling aspect is being kept quiet:>) They are still milking global warming. There's alot of money in it...just think of all the 'earth friendly' gadgets that they have everyone buying...

the temp hasnt changed here in many many years so how can it be a false assumption it is not or is correct temp. i just confused myself and probably you with that statement.

what im trying to say is global warming came out some 20 years ago give er take, and most people at least in my area didnt believe it now a days most do i think cuz it has been repeated and repeated which makes people believe stuff. media/advertisement uses this method as a tool.

the question remains how much has the temperature gone up since the globe began "warming"?

ussually upon asking this question is where overeducated folk began talk about something else like well, greenhouse gasses and such and such.

simply how many degrees has global warming warmed us?
