Are you happy with God? Is God happy with you? As honest as I know how to be: 1. Yes, a lot of times AFTER I slap myself around a little bit to remember that even though He don't think MY idea of something that should be done was such a good one, He STILL KNOWS what He's doing and how to do it and I need to just sit down and SHUT UP..!! 2. Anybody who would lay down a perfectly sinless life for me without first stopping to consider what He was getting in the "bargain" and with all the difficulty I have been for Him to mess with to get fixed right (and still am now and then), yeah--I'd say He MUST be happy with me. If I would have had to deal with someone as hard to deal with as I am for as long as He has dealt with me, I'd've thrown in the towel YEARS ago. I don't know what He ever saw in me in the first place to love me so doggone much, but the Man has got to be CRAZY about me to mess with me this long and keep right on messing with me to get me fixed right. His fellowship is sweet. Q2: I think sometimes, God is not happy with me because I fail Him but I am assured that He still loves me despite that.
