The perfected Church

There are many scriptural references to the perfected Church. As an evangelist in the ministry given for the Church, my hope is to participate in the edification of the Church and seeing the body of Christ made manifest for His appearing. After 2000 years of religion and a ministry ordained by man, it is apparent that it will take Jesus working through His anointed apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to perform this task. Is there anyone else with this hope? Are there others who have been called for this purpose?

I'm sure those who are true Christians strive each day to be perfect like Christ but this is His doing, not ours. Sure we have this desire but ultimtely it is His working so with that in mind, I don't believe we need anointed apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to perform this task

BTW- we are all "annointed" those who are truly His.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you. I just know that so far, the Lord has been my teacher since I received Him and He is working in my life daily - not just because He says it, but because I actually see it. Praise Jesus!!!! :)

You have instruction from the only One who can instruct. Most christians today rely on everything they hear from what ever ministry they listen to. It is indeed Jesus's doing and in that we can rest. His activity on our hearts and His reflection in our lives changes us. Jesus is the Head of the Church and He speaks to each and every one of us that recognize His voice. Understanding that flesh and blood cannot reveal spiritual things to you is to know the voice of Jesus. The ministry of (Ephesians 4:11) apostles, prophets, evangelists pastors and teachers is given for the Church. It is given in order that we all will come to the understanding that you have, that only Jesus can reveal to His Church His desire to have a Church without any manifestation of the flesh. It would be a good thing for you to share with others that you hear Jesus speaking to you, and that they to can participate in the same spiritual revelation that you receive. We can't get there alone so it is imperitive that you preach the Gospel, instructing those who are desiring onward to hear the good news from Jesus Himself.

Greetings Crossbowministry,

There are many scriptural references to the perfected Church. As an evangelist in the ministry given for the Church, my hope is to participate in the edification of the Church and seeing the body of Christ made manifest for His appearing. After 2000 years of religion and a ministry ordained by man, it is apparent that it will take Jesus working through His anointed apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to perform this task. Is there anyone else with this hope? Are there others who have been called for this purpose?

Paul makes it clear that the "body of Christ" on this earth is to be organized into various ministries according as the Holy Spirit gives His "gifts". AND each of us are to "seek the greater gift". So in one sense, we all are being trained, or remade into the "image of Christ", so as to do the things He did, AND "even greater things than He did shall we do."

But in todays "organized churches", too many have sought and even have demanded the "higher places at the table" of the Lord, when He has made it clear that those who have received the greater gifts are held more accountable and MUST BE THE SERVANT OF ALL.

The primary latter day "church spirit" will be that of the church of Laodicia which God is going to "spew out of His mouth". Those who are truly of God are going to be called out of the "organized churches", and this will arise at the same time false doctrine abounds causing the great "apostacy", and the Beast is set free to wage war against the "saints of God", AND TO OVERCOME THEM!

BUT:

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

The deaths of the saints will at first appear to be a victory of the Beast, but they are soon to be resurrected and God's full fury will come against those who killed them.

HOWEVER, during those days of extreme GREAT TRIBULATION, "many" will be saved, multitudes from every nation, tribe and tongue will come to know Christ, and the reason this will happen is because "persecution" (by the Beast) will be so heavy that many will turn to God for the victory over him.

So what is left for all of us is to be ready:

2 Timothy 4:1-5 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Is there anyone else with this hope?  Are there others who have been called for this purpose?

The entire Body of Christ is appointed this job. I also include in that those who are sick, elderly in nursing homes, little children....everyone!

When I taught elementary education in a Christian Private School, I taught the children what a profound and valuable asset they were in the Kingdom and that their prayers could move mountains and their witness could reach many of their family members who are lost. In addition, they could reach neighbors and friends who don't know the Lord...

Children are a very valuable resource that way too many people overlook, thinking they couldn't be an important resource for the Kingdom.

We can't forget that the work of the Kingdom is specialized...there are hands, feet, eyes and ears...different parts.

I'm annointed to work with the poor..I have a heart for mercy ministries. I have a special love for people with Alzheimer's Disease and love to encourage people who are sick. I'm annointed to work with children...and also love to give. People each have different gifts ...and we should eagerly seek those gifts.

Sometimes the Lord calls us to meet the spiritual needs of many - sometimes only one or a few.

God has a plan for each of us and we just need to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and follow His call.

I see the specializing of gifts for edification of the saints to equip us all to go, and be used in the needed ones as required by those The Holy Spirit leads us to when we leave the church. I have seen this in operation in street evangelizm.

If we, or anyone else is an apostle, prophet, pastor, evangelist, or teacher, this will be manifest by us being this, we do not need to say I am this, or that, unless we are preaching, and teachings, the things of God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
