As the leadership evolves to include the first African American president, Obama brings with him new, albeit some being scary, ideas that he will present to the people. We need to keep him in prayer and also look deep into what he brings as changes. Let's all become newly dedicated Bareans and ensure we know the difference between these new ideas and Gods word. We, as Christians, need to pray for our leaders (whomever they are) and ask God to intercede for the good of our nation. I pray for Mr. Obama's wisdom, strength, patriotism and ask that God guide and direct his decisions made for our blessed country. They are lined up on side streets wanting to get in to get a glimpse in temperatures well below freezing. I watch with concern, anticipation, and prayer. I will be glued for the next several hours. (He is sitting on the sofa with his spelling words to write out as we wait.) My oldest son, who is in public school, told me they would be watching the inauguration at school today; the other children said they would be watching it at their Christian school as well.
