Which means that the parents of Goliath and his grand parents and their parents and grand parents had the same trait. Could this be a trait from the giants that has survived since those old testament days? For a fact it is a genetic abnormality which would prove that the genes of the giants do still run in the veins of we smaller humans and the trait does in fact run in that family according to the news reports. And couldn't such an abnormality be modern day proof that fallen angels did in fact mate with the daughters of men (Genesis 6) and created a race of genetically abnormally large and wicked humans who had six fingers and six toes on each hand and foot? After all if the flood did in fact kill all of the living souls that lived on land except for eight souls. Where did the giants in the book of Joshua come from? Or how did they survive the the flood? Could there have been more angels who fell after the flood and mated once again with the daughters of men? Without a question we know that one of the traits of the giants was six fingers and six toes and it is not simply a coincidence that there were giants with six fingers and six toes in the old testament and though it is rare we have smaller humans born with six fingers and six toes as well to day. Hiya Massorite....so as we have discussed recently, it seems all the giants mentioned in the Bible were inherently evil...some surmised because of the 'fallen angel' blood coursing through their veins...Do you think a person today who has 12 fingers and toes is also inherently evil (beyond forgiveness)....(hmmm begs the question can the off-spring of fallen angels ever be forgiven...but that is another thread...just thinking aloud.) If so, how big does an individual have to be before he is considered a giant? Fairy-tale giants like the one in "Jack in the Beanstalk" were supposed to be the size of a building. In his most famous literary work, Jonathan Swift makes his character Gulliver a "man-mountain" in the country of Lilliput. And the Lilliputians were comparatively the size of insects.
