  1. Awesome! You always share the greatest stuff Neb! Thanks.
  2. Also, I've noticed when someone is trying to put something out there that is blantanly false the mods close it right away.
  3. If you mean how do we know whether those trying to teach is truth, then we need to be berean and search the Scripture ourselves to see if it measures up.
  4. how bout this? here I was really interested so I searched it out.
  5. I don't think its wrong from my interpretation of the Word, Im not worshiping these things. I sometimes wear a cross that my husband gave me that has a mustard seen set in acrylic. It is a reminder to have faith and also a great conversation/door opener. I have an ichthus ornament hanging from my rearview mirror which reminds me I am still a witness of Christ even when Im driving so I'd better be a responsible driver. We have an olivewood cross in our home that serves as a reminder and finally various tapestry and wall decor with Scripture. I haven't seen any harm in these things and feel no conviction whatsoever.
  6. OneLight and Believer gave great advice, let the Holy Spirit lead always, beside that what kind of evangalism do you feel called to do? Street, visitation, workplace, ect?
  7. lomi, that is beautiful. I am keeping you in prayer.
  8. Only the Holy Spirit can move these people, as long as the body does their job to edify and the Preacher preaches the Word of God, we have to leave their hearts in Gods hands.
  9. I think UFO sightings are either A. A Hallucination B. A weather balloon or government projects or C. Demonic forces, so be careful what you look into as to not be led astray.
  10. Unfortunatly thats the society we live in, our church does background checks for all children's ministries and sadly men are not allowed to work in the nursery even with another woman. It's just that in today's world you can't be too careful.
  11. Made me dizzy, but that is really cool!
  12. Hiring in what capacity? I mean, if the attorney or custodian of a Christian (or Jewish, muslim, etc.) church, synogogue, mosque or whatever is a hindu or wiccan, no big deal. Although most people wouldn't want to work in an institution whose doctrines were completely contrary to their own, IMO. But if you're talking about the pastor, imam or whatever....they would pretty much have to be of the faith they're working for. I don't get the point of this. Where did you hear it? I dont understand this either, as MG touched on, hiring someone who is not leading worship might be a good thing as there would be many opportunities to witness, but I can't imagine a church being forced to allow a spirtual leader whose ideals go against church doctrine Could you give a link One Light?
