No. I think it is more of a stretch to say that Jesus commanded something that is forbidden in Torah - consuming blood.

I believe (all) for it is truth that if we are His (Christ's) than we are putting ourselves, in our flesh, to death daily or others by actually physical causation. Fez I wish to die to the selfish, self centered, the things I do not see in Christ yet remain in me... I believe it is the fire of God's testing in this way- we say we have faith that is to believe In The Words of our Lord comprised from Genesis to Revelation and then the Seal is God's finished work of instruction to a children born out of this death.... we believe by speaking out those Words others will also be born out of this death (The Gospel)... To initiate this life of belief one must die to self and live to others so the actual giving up of one's life to achieve the living of His Word is the proof in the pudding so to speak! Baptism is the testimony, actual martyrdom is the proof and the fire of testing is the product that the angels of God wait with great anticipation to see "The Sons of God born out by The Son of God". Right; like those two young street preachers that were killed last year simply because they were Christians. They would definitely be martyrs.
