  1. Thank you for the link. I was one who missed it.
  2. While Assad of Syria is no angel and is a cause of national and international terrorism, the opposition that is trying to overthrow him are religious fanatics backed by Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood and are just as capable, and more, of using gas attacks on innocent people. I have a problem with any attack on the Syria regime because ..... To date, no national or international agency or media source has been able to show who fired the weapons, and while the UN inspections that have taken place thus far from interviews of victims, reports published that I have read say there is no solid evidence who the culprit is, but shows strong evidence from testimony from victims that the rebels are the culprits.
  3. This article refers to an upcoming 48 hour missile barrage on Syria with 100 missiles. That doesn't sound very limited to me no matter what the planners are saying. U.S., Britain prepare for 48-hour missile barrage on Syria A U.S. and British attack to punish Syria for using chemical weapons would see the allies launch more than 100 missiles in a blitz lasting up to 48 hours, according to military insiders and diplomatic sources. A Royal Navy submarine would join forces with U.S. warships in the Mediterranean to fire Tomahawk cruise missiles in an attack that is likely to begin within days. And then there's the headlines all over the web saying the rebels were told there could be an attack as early as a few days by a U. S. official. It's really strange that they are telling everyone their attack plans? Seems like a lot of sabre rattling going on.
  4. Israel's response to Syria should be Damascus will cease to exist!
  5. Why do they use women and children and innocent human beings for human shields? Your answers I believe are: They have no regard for human life. They are jihadists, seeking to dominate the world. They hate westerners and do not want them interfering in the Middle East. They also hate the Israelis and by using chemical weapons on innocent Syrians, they know outside world powers will get involved; they know this could start a regional war; and by starting a regional war in the Middle East, they know Iran and or Syria will strike at Israel. Assad has already publicly announced that if outside military intervention takes place in Syria, he will strike Israel. The problem is this scenario will not only start a regional war and destabilize the ME, it could very likely start WWIII. By the looks of things, the western powers and their supporters are falling right into the scheme of the Islamists. According to the link provided by WillowWood above, their spokesperson said no. But do you expect Islamist jihadists to tell the truth? I don't. Meanwhile, China and Russia both are warning against a strike on Syria. I wonder who is going to pay for this war since America is broke? My personal opinion is the international bankers will sponsor this disaster because they have the most to gain financially.
  6. I agree. I do not think the Assad govt. is the one using the chemical weapons against the people, but rather the rebels, i.e., Islamists and terrorists, who have the most to gain. The problem now is from what I have read on a few sources is that the world government powers say it doesn't matter who is the one using them, it has to be stopped.
  7. Not so. Syria and Iran are both proxy states for Russia. China also has interests in Iran . If you look at all of the major powers, they all have interests in the Middle East. So who will we, the United States, ultimately be fighting when Syria explodes?
  8. Putin suggests the alleged gas attacks that killed innocent civilians was done by the rebels who would benefit the most from it, and not Assad. An attack authorized by Obama upon Syria will again make Obama siding with terrorists such as the MB and alQaeda, just as he did in Libya when Kaddafi forces were bombed, and in Egypt when Obama sided with the MB. Similar to before WWI, are Islamists again trying to start another world war? From The UK Daily Mail: The West is drawing up a list of targets for Cruise missile strikes aimed at crippling the Assad regime. How will Syria’s main allies, Russia and Iran, respond? Putin’s spokesmen deplore the poison gas attack, but suggest it might have been the work of the Syrian rebels, which include Al Qaeda elements. They point out that Assad’s military is winning and doesn’t need to resort to using illegal weapons, and suggest that only the rebels stood to gain from the international anger aroused by such an attack. See link above for full story-
  9. How convenient What we have is an unverified allegation of hundreds killed by an alleged gas attack by an unknown entity while western leaders are getting anxious about bombing Syria. Which makes for a complete disgrace because it has nothing to do with caring about the people and saving lives, but reminds me of Iraq all over again. Nothing has really changed. It's all about who will control the oil and the Middle East
  10. What an excellent message! Thanks for sharing. And how true. When we become a new creature in Christ Jesus, our thoughts, our motives, our actions, our very lives change and people, some in our families, and even friends, do not even know us or how to communicate with us because of the changes God has made in us over time. He is shaping us to become more like Him, and move us away from the world. The pastor did an awesome job in using Joseph, his sufferings, and his future rewards, and finally his brothers in his analogy to make his point.
  11. Thanks for the vote of confidence. I never said Obama or some other secret entity was behind these attacks. I do think however one would have to be naïve to not believe that there are world powers at work calling the shots, meaning other world governments and those who support them. I do not think for one minute that Obama is calling the shots by himself to promote the Middle East agenda.
  12. Believe what you will, but the reports I have read is that the reason Obama did not go into Syria "the first time" it was reported chemical weapons were used is that Obama himself said that the report was still "preliminary." You can find these statements using any search engine. This left the door open for him at an opportune time. The opportune time may be now because the MB is losing its grip in the ME with the Egyptian military taking over Egypt. I for one do not believe it is the Assad regime using chemical weapons in Syria, but rather the MB along with alQueda. When Obama and Britain intervene in Syria, Obama will again be assisting the MB, to help form the Muslim caliphate, with Turkey leading the pack. Obama is very cozy with the PM of Turkey, who is furious about Morsi's overthrow in Egypt, blaming Israel. What better opportunity than now for Obama to blame Assad for weapons of mass destruction against the opposition or whoever in Syria (rebels, MB, islamists?)? and intervene in Syria? It remains to be seen if he and Britain does, however. Basically, that is what I meant by saying I think Obama is just looking for a chance to get America involved in another civil war in the ME I agree with what Sarah Palin said!
  13. The problem is there are media and some participants here that say it is the rebels, who support the MB and alQaeda, who are the one using the chemical weapons. Personally, I think the Obama Adm. is just looking for a chance to get the US involved in another civil war in the ME such as Syria, as he did in Egypt, Libya, etc. in the name of an Arab Spring to cause more chaos in the ME to promote the agenda that is being forced upon the world by those calling the shots. Who knows the truth in this situation? Only God, Pictures in the article can be used as a propaganda tool to stir an outrage to stop what is happening in Syria since nothing else has worked to get other countries involved.
  14. By SYDNEY LUPKIN Aug. 22, 2013— Man Alive After Being Pronounced Dead When 17-year-old Lawrence Yahle learned his father was dead earlier this month at Kettering Medical Center in Ohio, he ran down the hall to see nurses around his father's body. They weren't trying to revive him anymore. Distraught, Lawrence pointed and shouted, "Dad, you're not going to die today." Moments later, Anthony Yahle's heart monitor showed signs of life, Dr. Raja Nazir, his cardiologist at Kettering Medical Center, told ABCNews.com. It wasn't a regular heart beat, but once or twice a minute, the monitor would pick up tiny electrical movements. More
  15. The statistics check out. Not that I get the impression people here would be open to that fact. The statistics check out compared to what other media? Meaning one that is not the most influential voice for African Americans only? How about using a media that does not speak for just one segment of society? I, and I know many others, frown upon several long copy and paste links. Many people use them to try to prove their point, knowing others won't bother to read, (as you so implied) them because most people do not have the time, or interest to read multiple long copy and paste links. By the way, what the statistics say in Canada and what occurs in Canada does not mean that is the case for the United States of America, which is what I thought we are talking about in this case, so your Canadian links really aren't applicable to this situation. And your link quoting N YU cannot be considered unbiased as all Americans know New York State is a very strong liberal, left wing, anti-conservative state. The FBI and Bureau of Justice are not Canadian, but your statements illustrate perfectly why those who can't be bothered to read the links need not bother conversing with me. Ignorant statements such as these quickly become boring to argue against. I prefer to be properly challenged so that even when discussing things with people I disagree with I may grow. Your need to characterise my motives rather than analyse my statements further bores me. I won't be responding to you again. I did challenge you, but it looks like you did not like my response. The burden of proof is upon you to prove your point, which you did not do. If you don't want to respond to me, that won't bother me in the least. But just so you know, I will continue to point out your errors for others whenever I see them and continue to challenge your errors whether you respond or not. The Bureau of Justice as you call it is the Dept. of Justice, headed up by Attorney General Eric Holder, who reports to Obama. Eric Holder has as much said that black crimes against white people would not be prosecuted under the Department of Justice, so this source too is biased. The same goes for the FBI, who also reports to the Obama regime. Attorney General Eric Holder Refuses To Apply The Law Equally Photos http://www.examiner.com/article/attorney-general-eric-holder-refuses-to-apply-the-law-equally In June 2009, during his testimony before a Senate panel considering new hate crimes legislation, Attorney General Eric Holder clearly suggested that any new laws passed would not apply to white victims. When Sen. Jeff Sessions pressed Holder into saying exactly who would be protected under such laws, Holder gave his opinion that only those who have been subjected to “the unfortunate history of our nation,” should receive the added protection. Last summer, dozens of so-called ‘flash mob’ attacks were committed by black teenagers on white victims…both President Obama’s and Eric Holder’s silence on this issue spoke volumes. More recently, there has been a rash of black-on-white violence since the Trayvon Martin shooting. In fact, at least one of the attackers reportedly told his victim the blows he was receiving were in retribution for the Trayvon tragedy. What follows are a few of the crimes upon which the Department of Justice has refused to take any action: Teenager set ablaze in reported racial attack... White tourist beaten unconscious by black mob in Baltimore caught video... FBI drops hate crime investigation To read the above stories, see link Again, Obama and Holder have refused to mention the attacks, nor file federal hate crimes charges against the accused perpetrators. Of course, Obama felt the need to use his bully pulpit to tell the nation that if he "had a son...he woudl look like Trayvon." However, the president did not feel the need to extend his sympathies when a former U.S. Marine was allegedly beaten to death by a group of black men in Georgia. More at above link

  19. I luv pickled beets! Yummy! My brother made what is called a "Raised Bed" garden, which yields up to 4 times more of lush vegetables than gardens on the ground. The garden is waist level, as you can see in the below picture, very easy to weed out, no bending, no sore knees or backs, just go out the door and grab some veges and make a fresh garden salad every night. I forgot to add we had lots of spinach too. Never had a problem with insects. The seeds and soil are organic. It's amazing how much fresh produce we got from this garden all summer, and are still getting. Some of the beets are as big as a softball! This picture was taken before the cucumbers grew and are planted on each end of the garden and the vines now completely cover the trellis on each end. He made the Raised Bed garden near his house so he doesn't have a problem with the deer getting into it. Under the United States Department of Agriculture, the definition of organic means that the produce is generally free from synthetic chemicals, antibiotics and hormones and has not been irradiated or fertilized with sewage and was grown without the use of pesticides and contains no genetically modified ingredients.
  20. My brother and I planted an organic garden together this year. He did most of the planting. We had cucumbers, pickling cukes, tomatoes, green onions, lettuce, carrots, beats, green peppers, jalapeno peppers and radishes. We canned together lots of dill and bread and butter pickles with the pickling cukes, a bushel and a half of tomatoes so far, will do the beets and jalapeno peppers in another week or so. We gave lots of fresh veges away, and are still giving lots away as the lettuce (2 different kinds) and cucumbers are still growing like weeds. I also canned about a bushel of Pennsylvania Freestone Peaches, which I think are the best peaches on the planet . I also hope to can some variety hot peppers and some peach jelly and applesauce when the apples come in the autumn.
  21. Saudi King Offers Support to Egyptian Military RIYADH—Saudi King Abdullah is turning out to be the most prominent foreign supporter of Egypt's military generals in their armed push against Egypt's Islamic movement, sending field hospitals and words of support over the weekend for what he called Egypt's fight against "terrorism and extremism." In a comparatively rare public foreign-policy statement read Friday on Saudi television, King Abdullah declared that what was happening in Egypt was an Arab affair. "Let it be known to those who interfered in Egypt's internal affairs that they themselves are fanning the fire of sedition and are promoting the terrorism which they call for fighting," he declared, without mentioning any country by name. Saudi Arabia and the fellow Gulf monarchies of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates in early July pledged $12 billion in aid to Egypt. The support came within days of the Egyptian military taking into custody the elected Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, an ally of the Muslim Brotherhood. More Here
  22. Is trance music in the name of "Christian" really Christian? After doing some research on it awhile back, I have concluded that it does just what it is called. It puts one in a "trance" or a hyponotic state. With the concentration power of trance music, you really don't need God. The trouble with trance music, especially without lyrics is that it will make you feel self sufficient because it produces intense consentration. At the same time, a Christian's enemy, the devil, can put suggestions and subliminal messages in our mind while you are in a state of "trance". Trance is a way to self-hypnotize yourself, where God wants us to truly seek Him for help instead of worldly things like using trance music to self-hypnotize ourselves. When a Christian does this, He will give us peace that the world cannot give.
  23. We had some gorgeous auroras in my area. Will be looking again tonight and hopefully get some pictures (if there are any.)
  24. Moreover, you shall accept no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall be put to death. Numbers 35:31 Once again, this is sure to backfire on Israel.
  25. Christians really need to be praying for divine protection in these evil days that we live in, and limit as much as possible electronic appliances.
