  1. I would say stay with the first woman he married, and care for all the children and other woman equally financially. I accept that I may be totally wrong on this - but it makes sense to me.
  2. Well, how many Christians get scripture from Sunday Church services only? I was once shocked to find out just how little many of my fellow church-goers read their Bibles at home.
  3. This may sound weird, but have you guys ever done this? Ever drive past a chemical, or power plant, or perhaps a gasoline storage facility and think just how easily one could simply walk up to it and make it go boom? I swear, security at the places I see is nowhere to be found. It's as if they can't accept something like that could actually happen here.
  4. I give thanks to God in prayer over all of my food - even just snacks or drinks. It keeps me in a grateful frame of mind.
  5. I imagine Islamic terrorists around the world are laughing like mad over stuff like this.
  6. i can't even find a movie by that title. by any chance do you mean Son of God, the movie that came out last year? i watched that one. it was fairly biblical, but it left a very bad taste for me. when Jesus started working miracles, they were always preceded by weird mystical sounding music, and some 'look' in his eyes that, with the music, made it all seem more like He was practicing magic than performing God's work. I wonder if he's talking about the Mormon produced "The Life Of Christ" film.
  7. I'm not sure that's correct. In the Bible it speaks of Moses striking the slave driver, but I don't think his intent was to murder him, rather it was to simply stop him from beating the Hebrew slave.
  8. My Valentines Day was awesome and I hope everyone else's was as well! Love you all! *removed flashing gif*
  9. I think much of this is a set-up by Satan to groom people to accept an "alien abduction" scenario to explain the Rapture.
  10. I'd tell her so. And I'd also ask her what in the world would motivate her to even think such a thing of you or your daughter, as I assume neither of you have a history of stealing things from her.
  11. It's simply my own observations over the years. P.S. I England!
  12. I think it was simply lightning, which has often been described as God's "fire." And the "heaven" aspect being the first heaven, or the earth's atmosphere. The man was simply describing what he had seen in his own words. Satan can use the weather for his purposes. After all, he is the "prince and power of the air."
  13. I watch a lot of BBC programs. Before I was a Christian I was a huge fan of "Absolutely Fabulous." It just seems that over the years the BBC has made it's mission to be bashing Christ and Christianity. American networks do it as well, but not on the scale of the BBC. In all honesty "Absolutely Fabulous " had nothing to do with debating , it was a sit com. Could you please cite where you arrive at the scale that the BBC has exceeded at bashing Christians and Christianity, compared to other world wide net works . I could be mistaken but in the USA you do not have accesses to the vast amount of programs shown on the BBC. Or do you have BBC 1 BBC 2 BBC 3 BBC 4 BBC World News ? I was simply naming a program I used to watch in re-runs as an example of BBC programing I once enjoyed. We have access here to BBC programing through BBC America and satellite cable providers. Also, through Internet television. Don't get the wrong impression - you seem to be taking this personally as a British citizen. I'm not criticizing the British people as a whole, this is just my personal observational opinion. No more, no less.
  14. Some angels are described in the Bible as having swords (like the angel guarding the entrance to Eden.) It's been boggling my mind lately as to how they actually battle.

  16. I guess I'm thinking of the "war in heaven" passages, (and to a lesser extent, the ones about Danial's prayers being hindered for weeks until the archangel Michael came to help). Can they somehow physically fight each other even though they are spirits? Can they be wounded and suffer pain? I know the fallen angels will indeed suffer torment in the Lake of Fire - so it makes me wonder. Just how do they battle each other?
  17. I have never known any network work harder at discrediting Jesus. Too bad they don't have the courage to try it with Mohammed.
  18. More lunacy from the BBC. http://www.christianpost.com/news/were-jesus-and-buddha-aliens-bbc-program-debates-the-idea-133806/
  19. If Jesus could have sinned, he would still be able to sin. God cannot sin. But like Shiloh said,
  20. The New York Times.....the communist/atheist paper of choice. Muslims claim that any land once dominated by Islam remains Muslim forever. The NYT, by making the claim Muslims were here first, gives Muslims the "right" to say the United States is Muslim land. They are now obligated to fight until the country is "back" in the House of Islam.
