Literally! I was pruning the tree in my front yard a few years back, and the largest branch must have been a couple of hundred pounds. From where I was perched in the tree, it came down on my head as soon as it was free. Glad I was wearing my hard hat! ohhhh my - glad U were wearing your hard hat too. some of my pruning needs to be done from a ladder, but they are not that big!!!

I called about a pruning quote- and man-they wanted like $300 for every tree! wow!!! where do you live and how big are these trees/bushes/shrubs??? me thinks me hubby should pay me for the pruning I do - I'll take $100 for every tree

It is really raining here - however - it is much needed!!! Anyway, I am getting a break from all the outside work that needs to be done. This morning I put on my rain gear and took a wet walk. I checked out all the new growth from my pruning in the fall and early spring. Wow - all the new growth, it's amazing. We too are like that - I was thinking about this as I walked and checked out all the work/pruning I had done and it pays off year after year - we get more and more growth which produces more and more fruit. Anyway, we also need to be pruned in our walk to Christ. Ya', it might hurt, but in order to make way for us to grow it needs to be done. Maybe it's someone who is holding us back or something we are doing or whatever it is - we must acknowlege what that is and prun ourselves. It might be hard but it is necessary for us to keep growing in our faith. Love, sister-in-Christ, Jane

My dad past away when I was 7 yrs. old and my mom got remarried - my step-dad was great for like 9 yrs. and then mom and dad (step) started to fight - I just went outside and took lond walks in the woods. hmmmmmmmmmmmm - lol - that seems like my answer for almost everything, good and bad - happy and sad, etc. I love to see God's creation and spend time alone in it and with Him!!! Thank you Jesus!!! Amen!!!

Thanks all for your advice - I really appreciate it. I also talked to hubby about it and have decided just to add her. We were never friends, and I only knew of her bad bully reputation - I probably will have no other contact w/ her anyway - And I agree - people do change. Thanks again, love, sister-in-Christ, Jane

An old high school class-mate of mine found me on Face book and sent a friend request. However, this class-mate was a bully. You couldn't even look or smile at her or she'd beat you up. This was her reputation, I don't really know how true that was, and I didn't want to find out either. Her bio on her profile page says - easy going and very friendly. WELL . Anyway, it just strikes me funny that she'd want to be friends w/ me - we were never friends before and I really don't know her. I am struggling w/ accepting her as a friend - I ask myself, "what would it hurt?" It's only facebook, right????? I know from experience that people change . What would you do in this situation??? Awwww - praying for you and your daughter and this poor abandond dog. People always drop animals off at my house, they see a barn and think their pet will be taken in. Well, they are right but.............................we too take the animal to the vets and make sure it is ok and then try to find a good home for it. I would love to help you, but if I take another stray animal in my husband will put me in the barn with it. praying, Jane

I had a really uneasy night last night - I could not sleep because something was bothering me. I don't want to hurt anyone and I'm really sorry that I did. I was happy and just joking around and had no intention of hurting anyone or spreading hurtful accusations . Now I am in a deeper depression than I ever was and I have been praying and reading my Bible and just can't seem to get out of it. But anyway, I don't want to make this about my feelings, it's not meant to be about that - it's about me hurting people and I'm really truly sorry!!! Jane
