    Boomer's

We let our kids down. Now looking back we let the father of lies run loose, for 15 years? We have the energy to virtue signal baking cakes for gays protesting abortions but we didn't stop the father of lies in this country. We need to demand it from our politicians! I worry for my millennials and what lies satans telling them on their phones. I left my political tribe because of our sovereign debt. Both parties are spending us into the dirt. I learned a lot listening to those small-time fund managers on Youtube. Do you know our politicians are as ignorant as the American people when it comes to macroeconomics? And they set fiscal policy, shakes head. It was naive of me to think they knew what they were doing. Would you believe me if I told you the Federal Reserve doesn't know what they're doing? eurodollaruniversity I see a black horse. What's the next sign?

    Divine Healing

God will to heal is 100% of the time! The problem can be the people He's working through or Satan inhibiting our prayers. The disciples couldn't cast out the demon and what did Jesus say? Matthew 17:16New International Version (NIV) 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
  3. I agree, If people are coming to the Lord because of their NDE, what's wrong with that?
  4. Daniel 2:43 New King James Version (NKJV) 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. Who are the "they"? Demons or aliens?
  5. Chuck Messler is doing a teaching on his radio program on seven churches, which might be worthy of some study.
  6. I believe it was Jesus who commanded the messengers to write to the church and all seven letters applied to all seven churches. I pray i'm part of the church of Philadelphia Rev 3: 10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.
  7. It's illegal to own guns in Mexico! How many people have died and who is doing the killing?

    new pope

If Pope Francis is the false prophet, what are some of the indicators to look for?
  9. I think God could make it hail if HE wanted to. Of course He could. What kind of god would He be if He could not? Believer, I am a secularist and an atheist. If the writer says 100 pound hailstones fell from the sky I would call the claim hyperbole. Anyone can write anything in a book. It is not evidence. It is a claim you are taking on faith. My skeptical mind thinks it looks nothing like reality. As I mentioned earlier the author of Job took the view that God must have storehouses in Heaven filled with hail and ready to toss down. Surely you don't think God has a storehouse for hail in Heaven just because the Book of Job says He does? The author imagined storehouses in Heaven because he could not conceive of any other source for hail. The Book of Job spells out the way its author perceived nature. He was a man of his time living in what was likely the Bronze Age. Things were not a whole lot better in Paul's time when Ephesians was penned. The author had an important message to convey and he used language designed to capture the imagination. Obviously he captured yours. Yes, much of what i read has to be taken by Faith. Our fathers and grand fathers must have faced the same argument in regards to the two witnesses in revalation 11. Rev 11 7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our[c] Lord was crucified. 9Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow[d] their dead bodies to be put into graves. 10 And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. Back then it would have been abusrd for everyone to see their dead bodies but with todays technology it's possible. Maybe there is some truth to the bible and i hope you come to realize the possibility. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you.
  10. I think God could make it hail if HE wanted to. Rev 16 17 The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” 18 Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. 19 The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. 20 Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. 21 From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds,[a] fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.
  11. God allows suffering because Adam opened the door to it. God encourages us to live through it and give us the reasons why.
  12. Good. An apparent conflict that does not involve biological evolution. At least we know that evolution is not the only problem here. Now, how is it possible to postulate a young universe if the speed of light is constant? I assume here, taking as a hint the rest of your post, that you believe that the universe is some thousands years old, say 10,000 years old give or take. We know that our galaxy alone containg billions of stars (in the order of 10^11) and that there are billions of galaxies (also in the order of 10^11) in the visible universe only. I make the assumption here that counting stars and galaxies with telescopes is a scientific endeavour If we can see those stars and galaxies, that means that they emitted light. If the universe is 10,000 years old, the time this light needed to reach us cannot be longer than 10,000 years. That is, the whole visible universe is contained in a sphere whith a radium no bigger then 10,000 light years. If we make a small calculation (if the theory of gravitation is science), then we infer immediately that the visible universe should have collapsed under this huge density a long time ago. And nights on earth would be extremely bright (another small calculation valid only if the dependency of star brightness from distance is scientific). Another interesting consequence of the speed of light being constant, is that it must have taken 4.2 years, after creation, to see the second star in the sky. The firmament must have looked pretty boring for thousands of years. If, of course, astronomy and astrophysics can be considered science. Ciao - viole Viole you base your reasoning on the belief of the big bang therory which is assumed. I believe God created the universe as is. Any science about origins is not science it's belief in a bunch of assumtions.
  13. Gen 2:16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” So, the day that he ate of the tree, did he die spiritually or physically? This verse does not seem to indicate the beginning of death, but of death. It fits perfectly with spiritual death, one has to add to it to fit in physical death Genesis 3:22 New International Version (NIV) 22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
  14. God is for everyone that includes the non believers. He was there when I asked to be saved.
  15. I wish i would have come to Christ sooner. I wouldn't have put my family through so much hell thru drugs and alcohol.
  16. I thought the Lamb of God took away the sin of the world?
  17. angels4u I can't find a scripture that claims Satan loves anything, or even loves to test our faith. His Goal is to kill, steal and destroy. Faith will stop him at the door, as we are told to put on our armor, and resist him with faith. Satan would rather not have to deal with faith, it's a hindrance to his plans and purposes. This is why he attacks it, not because he loves to test it, it's because he needs it out of the way to take something that is not his. Satan also heard Jesus, All things are possible to those that will believe. The affliction comes because of the Word, Faith comes by hearing the Word, and if Satan can stop you cold by bringing the pain, it's best for him to do that before you get rooted and grounding solidly. It's more easy to crumble a weak foundation, then one that is fortified. Mar 4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. Offended means to give up, get weary in well doing, get discouraged and stop serving the Lord with the zeal you once had. 1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. I read through all the post, and certainly many of us have faced trials of our faith. My own son had a rare cancer, and nothing the doctors could do. May God Bless everyone going through these, and strengthen you, giving you hope of deliverance. May you see that just like Job, all can be restored and made even better. Scriptures: I never want to get in trouble with telling wrong things to others. That is why I need scripture for what I believe, and ask scripture for what someone else says. I also examine scriptures over and over, praying the Holy Spirit makes them clear, and give me understanding. There is so much we don't know. I have read the comments about Job. I myself have looked at Job for a few years, and examined other scriptures, comparing them to Job. To me, I have settled that God's Word can never contradict, and where it looks like it contradicts, it means we just need more understanding, and have no right to tell God he is contradicting himself. So, I have a few Questions........................................................................... 1) I don't see where Job was in faith. Jas 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. Job endured with his situation, he just went through it. The bible says faith is a substance of things hoped (Heb 11:1) for. Job never once saw his deliverance, he never hoped for it. What Job wanted was an answer from God on how this injustice could occur because he walked upright without sin. Job's comment was that he wish he had not even been born, that does not sound like faith, it sounds like someone in despair, and enduring hardship. (Job 3:12) His three companions certainly told Job he sinned somehow, but they were also wrong. Elihu the youngest was the only one that answered correctly. He pinpointed exactly what Job's issue was. He was the only one Job did not have to sacrifice for at the end. Elihu: Job 34:35 Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom. Job 34:36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men. Job 34:37 For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God. When God came on the scene, God certainly was not very happy with Job. God: Job 38:2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Job 38:3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. I don't see Job as an example we should follow. When things go wrong, fall apart, get destroyed in our lives, it's not the time to ask why. Even if your life style caused your own problems, which is normally the case, you can't deliver yourself, nor is your own righteousness going to be good enough to get God to move on your behalf. Job not once called out to God for Help, not one time. He complained, and spouted off all his good qualities. He clapped for himself in front of his friends, I am a good man, why me? The question should never be why am I going though this, the Question should be, what am I going to change so that I am more focused on God's Word, focused on God, focused on Jesus. Was Job really in Faith? I have a lot more question about Job, but don't want this going to long. Blessings. \ I agree, I personally believe that Job, and many Christians, don’t know there is a devil at work in our lives. We tend to blame God for the bad things that happen when all along it’s the devil.
  18. YES, by His stripes! Fez, There are more people in the bible that has shown their faith. The biggest problem of receiving from God is not knowing if it’s His will. Not being sure of God’s will, will createdoubt or unbelief, these are mentioned some where’s in the bible. SomeChristians feel unworthy to receive from God, well these Christians don’t knowwhat God’s will is. It saddens me to read some posts here on this forum becauseGod is portrayed as mean and angry. My 11 year old nephew was shot and killed in Juarez last Sunday; was it God’s will for him to die, absolutely not! Welive in a fallen world and the author of death is active in this world. We should know the nature of God by His names and yet we allow our carnel mindstake over and the things we have seen and learned in this world run our thoughts.I fight doubt and unbelief every day. I think God shakes his head at some of the prayers thatcomes up to Him. We ask God for things that He has already given us or commanded us to do. The devil also hinders prayers read, Daniel 9&10. Do you think Daniel’s prayer would have been answered if he broke his fast before the 24th day It’s all about standing and believing, not wondering. In God’s time, God’s promises will come to pass. I think the most important thing to do as a Christian islove Jesus and believe He is our Savior. How do you think God feels when His childrenfight with each other? Whether it’s, WOF, prosperity, Catholicism and manyothers brother and sisters in Christ, believe Jesus is Lord and savior andtries to have a relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit. When I came tothis forum I was on fire for God and after a couple of my posts I was labeledWOF. I didn’t even know what that was. I was attacked because of my brothers and sister pre conceived ideas and no one here knew my heart. I was totally shocked! I had the Love of God beat out of me and it became a battle over doctrine. I also learned that doctrine can not be pushed onto other believer because not one post here has ever changed anyone’s mind it’s just arguments. Haveany of you gotten a negative feeling when a particular person posts, is it right? I am prosperous and blessed by God and that includesfinances because I’m able to give. I have faith in the word of God because I have seen it come to pass including my “Catholic” brother in laws healing BennyHinn style and couple others. May you find God’s peace within you and be blessed. Out
  19. Awesome! Now she'll be able to see Jesus coming in the clouds.
  20. It questions and challenges everything. I'm so out of tune with hearing what the Lord is dropping in my spirit because my mind is always over-riding it. And I don't mean "test the spirits" and confirming things with the Word. I mean I bury it in doubts and challenges and make up my own thinking of what I should be doing rather than what was given to me and . . . . The knowledge (the tree?) we have disconnects us spiritually from God. I struggle making the word of God more real to me than what I see, taste, feel hear or smell. I felt the same way this weekend with doubts and told myself I need to rest in God and pray. God knows you because He created you and He knows what we are. God loves you no matter what you do, just keep faith in Him. Nebula you have the mind of Christ and you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. The next time you hear from God just step out of the boat and trust in Him. I also will try to do the same. May God bless you and comfort you in Jesus name.
  21. That's why I want to hear someone else's interpretation that isn't flawed. I haven't heard one yet. So far the only interpretation that I have found to fit with the Bible is this one. I didn't always to have doubts in modern miracles or prophecy. In fact I used to go with friends and visit churches in which the belief in miracles was held, and sometimes were "performed." Then someone helped me realize what 1 Corinthians 13 actually says. I didn't believe him at first. In fact, I closed my mind to his evaluations of the Scriptures because, after all, I had seen miracles had I not? But as I opened my mind, I realized that what he said coincided with what the Bible taught, and yet I was still held back by my experience of what I had considered miracles. My friend (the guy who taught me the truth) came with me to some of these churches. He went to the "healers" and asked them to make him walk again. They couldn't. They claimed it was because of his lack of faith. Of course, lack of faith in the receiver of the miracle is irrelevant, considering all the dead people Christ raised. They obviously didn't have faith in God, because they were dead. A lifeless corpse cannot have faith. And so he brought his child, who was born deaf, and asked that the child be healed. None of the healers were able to, even though a couple tried. He asked for some miraculous sign of any kind, so that he could believe. They weren't able to do anything more significant than claim to speak in tongues, which anyone can do. No fire from heaven. No drinking poison and not being harmed. No casting out of demons. Nothing. So I started to have my doubts. I began to realize that people could fool themselves, like I had. My friend brought me to some of the healing sessions that have in religious conferences, where so-called healers would take healing requests on stage. Despite the fact all the maladies that the healed people had were invisible, we found out that several of the same people were following the healers and claiming each and every time to have to same invisible disease that they had been healed of in the last session. That's what really put me off to modern miracles. Since then I have asked people to show me miracles. After all, miracles were performed so that men might believe, correct? So they cannot claim that my disbelief affects their ability to do miracles. But no one ever showed me anything supernatural. All I've ever seen is claims to have healed invisible diseases or tumors, or claims to be speaking with understanding in a language they have never learned. So it's not that I've closed my mind to the possibility. In fact I was raised in a church that had faith in miracles. I used to believe in them. But since I've never seen a real miracle, believing or unbelieving, so I cannot believe, considering that I understand the Bible to teach differently. My mind is still wide open. I still ask people to show me miracles. That isn't an unreasonable request. I'm also open to different interpretations of the passage in 1 Corinthians 13. However, I've never heard one that wasn't disappointingly easy to explain away accurately. I still want to hear one, though. Two years ago I resubmitted myself to God and this time I believe I received the Holy Spirit. I was reading the Gospels I didn’t believe in miracles either. I started listening to a teacher who has testimonies of people being healed and his son actually raised from the dead. I prayed and prayed about this to the Lord asking, if these things were true. Three months later I heard an audible voice telling me to call my mom and she was having a stroke that very minute. While in Houston at the hospital I got a call from a brother in law and he was healed from a torn muscle in his shoulder. He didn’t have medical insurance and couldn’t afford surgery. I believe God answered my prayers! I’m sorry you haven’t seen any miracles which may be the reason for your unbelief. Your unbelief has blinded you to the works of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is alive and working thru Christians today and will continue till we are face to face with God. Not everyone gets healed and who knows how satan is battling us in the spiritual realm. You should be asking God to show you His power. The question is will you be able to recognize it thru unbelief. Because of your unbelief you are calling the Christians here liars who have testified of the wondrous powers of God working in peoples’ lives. I pray that God shows you His power that works in you is alive in Jesus name. Out
  22. I used to think these same things (church, friend) except for my parents. My parents did the best they could with what they knew. What I have to remind myself everyday is that all these people are God's creation and if God can love them uncondionally, then I have to learn to love them. It takes a lot of grace! What do you mean "associate with the good things of God"? welcome back and Be Blessed.
