  1. God is soooo awesome. Thanks for posting nebula. *wonder if it can be a desktop wallpaper*
  2. The Lord never hides from us. We just sometimes look in the wrong direction. Sad but true sister. And sometimes people look to long in the wrong direction and then they find out at the Day of Judgement. And what excuse can they give....
  3. I am sure eventually they will. This right here is a first huge step. Heard from where? Sign up for all the math and physics you can get! TOYS R US move over the big boys are making bird, bug and maybe even dust spies.... shhhhhhh I have dust on my keyboard.... Haul out that vacuum cleaner attachment, Steven, and kill those spies! Oh my..... vaccums and spies.... Look out James Bond a new toy coming your way... does it feed on sugar water... okay seriously though it is awesome what they are doing. I can't begin to picture the miniscule parts...
  4. Gotta borrow that age old saying..... SAY IT ISN'T SO!!!! I ain't touchin it no way.... How do they do that anyway... seriously lets stop and think about it.... Oh never mind it hurts my head to think of it....
  5. Whoa... makes me want to find a scout to take on hikes. I get confused enough with signs.
  6. great post How can He be hid. He is everywhere. How is anyone really able to deny Him and His existence doesn't compute with my brain. Hence all the debates and arguements... Will they never learn...
  7. Blessings sister. I hope and pray the Lord has been moving mountains for you.
  8. Means the institution of marriage isn't the same as it was many many many years ago.... Means Obama is all for same sex marriage in my opinion.
  9. Okay I admit it. I have had my head buried in the sand. Today when I went online to look at wedding dresses I came across a site that had loads of maternity wedding dresses. I was very surprised. (I don't get out much) I am not saying it is wrong...for right now I have mixed feelings. On one hand it can be nice if a couple is wanting to redo their vows and she is pregnant then this is a fantastic idea. But I am also concerned what this may be saying to the young people. Go ahead... have premarital sex... okay to get pregnant before marriage. Though I was taught and told to save myself for my husband I rebelled and didn't wait. I got pregnant out of wedlock then was forced to marry the man. Any way what I am trying to say is I regret rebelling. I regret not waiting. I didn't have much of an impact on my 4 children. It was do as mom did not do as she says syndrome. Now I see they are making maternity wedding dresses and it saddens me I reckon. For I truly fear it will push the young ones more towards premarital sex. Maybe I am over reacting also. Any others with an opinion? Blessings. 10. 1 John 2:15-16 (21st Century King James Version) 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world -- the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life -- is not of the Father, but is of the world. I live for my Lord and Savior Christ Jeus. I ask for new wisdom each day to walk in His grace. Blessings.
  11. Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?" says the Lord GOD, "and not that he should turn from his ways and live? But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die. Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not fair.' Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair? When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies. Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. Yet the house of Israel says, 'The way of the Lord is not fair.' O house of Israel, is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair? Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways," says the Lord GOD. "Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies," says the Lord GOD. "Therefore turn and live!" Ezekiel 18:23-32 That's the "article" that people need to read and understand, not any article, from the JWs or anyone else! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord and
  12. I believe the Lord sends visions. I also believe He in His timing will reveal to that individual what they mean. I also feel in my heart that a true child of God would know the difference between satan sending it or God. Blessings.
  13. another explanation from the american tract bible society: ANOINTING Was a custom in general use among the Hebrews and other oriental nations, and its omission was one sign of mourning, Isa 61:3. They anointed the hair, head, and beard, Ps 104:15; 133:2. At their feasts and rejoicings they anointed the whole body; but sometimes only the head or feet, Ps 23:5; Mt 6:17; Joh 12:3. It was a customary mark of respect to guests, /Lu 7:38,46. The use of oil upon the skin was thought to be conducive to health. Anointing was then used, and is still, medicinally, Mr 6:13; Jas 5:14; but the miraculous cures thus wrought by the apostles furnish no warrant for the ceremony just before death called "extreme unction." The anointing of dead bodies was also practiced, to preserve them from corruption, Mr 14:8; 16:1; Lu 23:56. They anointed kings and high priests at their inauguration, Ex 29:7,29; Le 4:3; Jg 9:8; 1Sa 9:16; 1Ki 19:15,15, as also the sacred vessels of the tabernacle and temple, Ex 30:26. This anointing of sacred persons and objects signified their being set apart and consecrated to the service of God; and the costly and fragrant mixture appointed for this purpose was forbidden for all others, Ex 30:23-33; Eze 23:41. The custom of anointing with oil or perfume was also common among the Greeks and Romans; especially the anointing of guests at feasts and other entertainments Aaarrgh!!! Hunter please bear with me. I don't mean to be dense. The scripture is saying that the Lord is anointing our head with oil... am I reading that right? Okay... if I am... what is the meaning of the Lord anointing us? Is God consecrating us then? Am I making this harder than it needs be.... ok calm down and lets take this one step at a time......the whole custom of anointing with oil signified that the guest was special to the person hosting the feast...so......yes the Lord is anointing our heads with oil, because it signifies that we are special to Him. The light bulb is starting to brighten. So verse 5 is saying... The Lord prepared a feast for us in the presence of our enemies to show His love and then anoints us to consecrate His love. Verse 2 is about comfort and a place of beauty and rest. Do I have this right? yes Light bulb fully lit. And thank you for your patience and help.
  14. God bless all of you brothers and sisters for your replies. It has helped me understand this passage much better. Now it comes together for me as a whole.

  16. Blessing to you too Luv. And thanks for being interested in God's Earth centred creation. People can get into very lengthy debates on literal Vs metaphoric language used in the bible. I'm not really interested in going through all that. All I will state is that EVERY time the sun or Earth is mentioned in the bible in relation to their movement, scripture INDICATES that the Earth is stationary and that the sun moves. Lets take a look: Genesis 15:12...... "...and when the sun was going down..." 15:17..... "...when the sun went down..." 19:23..... "The sun was risen upon the earth." 28:11..... "...because the sun was set...." 32:31..... "...the sun rose...." Exodus 17:12..... "...until the going down of the sun...." 22:3...... "...if the sun be risen upon him...." 22:26.... "...the sun goeth down...." Leviticus 22:7...... "...And when the sun is down...." Numbers 2:3........ "...toward the rising of the sun...." Deuteronomy 11:30..... "...the way where the sun goeth down...." 16:6....... "...at the going down of the sun...." 23:11..... "...when the sun is down...." 24:13..... "...when the sun goeth down...." 24:15..... "...neither shall the sun go down...." Joshua 1:4..... "...the going down of the sun...." 8:29... "...as soon as the sun was down...." 10:12.. "...Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon...." 10:13.. "...and the sun stood still...." 10:27.. "...the time of the going down of the sun...." 12:1.... "...toward the rising of the sun...." Judges 5:31.... "...as the sun when he goeth down...." 8:13.... "...before the sun was up...." 9:33.... "...as soon as the sun is up...." 14:18.... "...before the sun went down...." 19:14.... "...and the sun went down...." II Samuel 2:24.... "...the sun went down...." 3:35.... "...till the sun be down...." 23:4..... "...when the sun riseth...." I Kings 22:36.... "...the going down of the sun...." I Chronicles 16:30.... "...the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved...." II Chronicles 18:34.... "...time of the sun going down...." Job 9:7.... "...commandeth the sun and it riseth not...." Job 26:7.... "...He hangeth the earth upon nothing...." Psalm 19:4.... "...tabernacle for the sun...." 19:5 ... "...cometh out to run...." 19:6.... "...goes forth in a circle from one end of heaven to the other...." 50:1.... "...from the rising of the sun...." 93:1.... "...the world also is stablished that it cannot be moved...." 104:19.. "...the sun knoweth his going down...." 104:22.. "...the sun ariseth...." 113:3.... "...from the rising of the sun...." Ecclesiastes 1:5.... "...The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down and hasteth to the place where he arose...." Isaiah 13:10.... "...sun shall be darkened in his going...." 38:8...... "...is gone down on the sundial of Ahaz...." 38:8...... "...so the sun returned...." 41:25.... "...from the rising of the sun...." 45:6...... "...from the rising of the sun...." 59:19.... "...from the rising of the sun...." 60:20.... "...the sun shall no more go down...." Jeremiah 15:9.... "...her sun is gone down while it was yet day...." Daniel 6:14.... "...going down of the sun...." Amos 8:9.... "...cause the sun to go down at noon...." Jonah 4:8.... "...when the sun did arise...." Micah 3:6.... "...and the sun shall go down...." Nahum 3:17.... "...when the sun ariseth...." Habakkuk 3:11.... "...the sun and moon stood still in their habitation...." Malachi 1:11.... "...from the rising of the sun...." Matthew 5:45.... "...for He maketh His sun to rise...." 13:6..... "...and when the sun was up...." Mark 1:32.... "...when the sun did set...." 4:6...... "...when the sun was up...." 16:2...... "...at the rising of the sun...." Luke 4:40.... "...when the sun was setting...." Ephesians 4:26.... "...let not the sun go down upon your wrath...." James 1:11.... "...for the sun is no sooner risen...." Jos 10:12 Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. Jos 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. How does Joshuas long day work in a creation where the Earth is spinning? Okay I have read all of these but still don't see where it says the earth doesn't move. I see where it speaks of the sun setting and rising and everything but couldn't that be attributed to the earths rotation. How do you explain the phases of the moon? Do the other planets rotate? I am not trying to argue or anything just really trying to understand. I have always believed the earth rotated. Since grade school. But I also believe in the Bible 100% and if it says the earth DOES NOT rotate I want to see where it says that. Blessings.

  18. Aaaaaaahhhh YES. The punchline is that satans biggest lie (that the Earth moves) is followed by his second biggest lie (but the one that did all the damage) which is the evolution myth that is built upon the foundation of a big bang, expanding universe that the heliocentric model provides. Biblical Geocentricity is just as valid as the heliocentric hypothesis and it even TRUMPS it when you consider REAL science. The Earth is completely unmoving, non-spinning...right at the centre of God's universe both spiritually and physically, just as scripture describes. Blessings Strangelove. Can you please provide the scriptures this is based on. Not saying your wrong mind you I just haven't come across it and would like to know where it is in the Bible.
  19. Blessings LadyC, Fez, Hunterpoet. Thank you for the quick response it is becoming a bit clearer to me. I am still not getting the anointing though. Why the anointing? What does it represent?
  20. Psalm 23 (New International Version 1984,
  21. Whoa just think if Wyatt Earp or Billy the Kid or any of those other pistol totin gunslingers ran into that little feller and it was the same size as them... on your marks get set dr..... blam....
  22. I would! I always wished my dad had been like Dr. Clif Huxtable. I just loved that show when I was a kid. They just don't make shows like 'The Cosby Show' anymore. No they don't. Think the Lord broke the mold after making old Bill Cosby himself. I don't imagine any kids would have ducked his classes...
  23. I believe that. At Bagnell Dam in the Lake of the Ozards some blue head catfish can swallow a car whole they say. They stay at the very bottom of the dam and feed on the refuse that sinks down and just grow and grow. Scares me to think about a catfish that big sitting below what ever boat I am in. Definitely won't go swimming there......
  24. And I thought the ones in the Missouri River were scarey and ugly.
