I just watched a movie that talks about the royal cubit and the meter and they relate to the flower formation. Very interesting part of the show is only 12 minutes long and quite detailed about the cubit.

"The Bible does not need advertising by me, but I wish more people could be persuaded to read it. Perhaps if they had been, we should not have this war on our hands. For greed and idleness brought it on."

The Process of Sanctification and the Suffering Way

Your post brings to mind 1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. -
Old bones cast new light on Goliath's people

I was doing some checking and I think 18" is the most used measurement for a cubit like you said. I am watching a move on you tube called "On the traces of an ancient civilization" It explains the famous cubit which is 52 " long. you can see it at 1 hour and 2minites the explanation is only 10 minutes long. Very interesting. let me know what you think. -
Thanks Rosie1jack2pauline3 The only knowledge I have is I read the bible twice and read bunch of other books but I have no formal training at all. Many here are head and shoulders above me. I have to rethink every thing if I am giving out the wrong info on this forum or in my personal life. I would hate to hear "I never knew you".

Old bones cast new light on Goliath's people

That could be. I know for a long time I thought it was held together with the pitch that Noah use to keep it from leaking. Later I found it was probably held together with nails. -
Ok you have convinced me I know very very little about what the Bible says. And I am now convinced I should not engage anyone in conversations about the Bible. I think I should just read and keep quite. I do not want to give out the wrong information and it appears that is what I have done, at least in your opinion. I have removed all my post in this thread. Sorry for any thing I said wrong.

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. I don't think the marriage Christ speaks of is anything like what we have know as marriage.

I could be wrong have been many times always hoping to be corrected PRN. Husbandman was used as a person who cared for looked out for vineyards and such. I thought the Lord using Husband was not meant as a man and woman marry but as one who caries for Israel and gives it what ever it needs to survive as the husbandman of a vineyard. Even Noah was a husband man.
