  1. Hello, The following bible verses have been bringing up interesting questions lately: Jeremiah 32:35They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molek, though I never commanded—nor did it enter my mind—that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin. Exodus 11:4So Moses said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘About midnight I will go throughout Egypt. 5 Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the female slave, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well. The first text speaks about how sacrificing one's children is a detestable thing to god and the second talks about the plague of the firstborn that came upon the egyptians and came to be known as the passover because the angel of death passed over the homes of the israelites. The questions that have come up are: if god detests sacrificing one's children, why would he sacrifice his own son? And, how did the passover change from killing the firstborn of the Egyptians into sacrificing the firstborn son of god? Has anyone else ever thought about this?
  2. I have to admit I don't consider myself a citizen of any country because I consider myself a citizen of the Kingdom of Almighty God. Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
  3. LOL. The founding fathers who fought so hard to get rid of the monarchy are probably turning in their graves due to the amount of time given to the British monarchy by the U.S. media.
  4. Third Day: Children of GOD
  5. 1 Timothy 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
  6. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
  7. You don't need to judge when you read what the Holy Scriptures clearly state: Daniel 2:44 In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. Daniel 7:13-14 13 “I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. 14 And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed. Psalm 146 3 Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. 4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. 5 Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD their GOD.
  8. Nikki1, your original comment states that only unrigteous kings and rulers will be subjected to God's wrath. Thus, it's logical to conclude from your statement that "righteous" rulers would not be subject to God's wrath. My initial comments stands, there aren't any righteous governments on Planet Earth, which is why almighty God will destroy every single one of them and enthrone his Beloved Son and will make him Ruler of all: Daniel 2:44 In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people.
  9. Almighty Heavenly Father, I humbly request the liberation of Pastor Bakhytzhan Kashkumbayev of Astana, Kazakhstan, in the name of your most beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen
  10. As far as I'm aware there aren't any righteous governments on Planet Earth. Who are the righteous kings and rulers to whom you are referring?
  11. I am reminded of the following bible verse: 2 Corinthians 2:17 Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God. It would be beneficial for Christians to know exactly which organizations: 1) have become peddlers of the word, 2) would try stop the spread of the gospel by prosecuting anyone who would freely share their Bibles. That said, I would like to think that most Christian organizations would not prosecute anyone who is freely sharing e-Bibles with those less fortunate. Thus, it is my personal belief that anyone sharing sharing e-Bibles on pirate bay need not fear repercussion.
  12. Acts 17:11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. 1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. The Holy Scriptures must be taken as a whole and we cannot ignore those verses with which we may not agree.
  13. The Holy Scriptures also mention that those same governments will be subject to God's wrath on the Great Day of the LORD: Revelation 6:15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” The Great Day of the LORD Zephaniah 1:14 The great day of the Lord is near, near and hastening fast; the sound of the day of the Lord is bitter; the mighty man cries aloud there. 15 A day of wrath is that day, a day of distress and anguish, a day of ruin and devastation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 16 a day of trumpet blast and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the lofty battlements. 17 I will bring distress on mankind, so that they shall walk like the blind, because they have sinned against the Lord; their blood shall be poured out like dust, and their flesh like dung. 18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the wrath of the Lord. In the fire of his jealousy, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full and sudden end he will make of all the inhabitants of the earth.
  14. Jesus Christ clearly stated in the parable of the Wheat and the Tares that false Christians would be growing amongst the True Christians, thus, we must use discernment when dealing with others within our local churches. Jesus Christ also warned about false prophets within our churches: Matthew 7:15 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves." Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the person who does what my Father in heaven wants. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we force out demons and do many miracles by the power and authority of your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them publicly, ‘I’ve never known you. Get away from me, you evil people.’ The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares: Matthew 13:24-30
