  1. Hello, The following bible verses have been bringing up interesting questions lately: Jeremiah 32:35They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molek, though I never commanded—nor did it enter my mind—that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin. Exodus 11:4So Moses said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘About midnight I will go throughout Egypt. 5 Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the female slave, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well. The first text speaks about how sacrificing one's children is a detestable thing to god and the second talks about the plague of the firstborn that came upon the egyptians and came to be known as the passover because the angel of death passed over the homes of the israelites. The questions that have come up are: if god detests sacrificing one's children, why would he sacrifice his own son? And, how did the passover change from killing the firstborn of the Egyptians into sacrificing the firstborn son of god? Has anyone else ever thought about this?
  2. I have to admit I don't consider myself a citizen of any country because I consider myself a citizen of the Kingdom of Almighty God. Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
  3. LOL. The founding fathers who fought so hard to get rid of the monarchy are probably turning in their graves due to the amount of time given to the British monarchy by the U.S. media.
  4. Third Day: Children of GOD
  5. 1 Timothy 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
  6. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
  7. You don't need to judge when you read what the Holy Scriptures clearly state: Daniel 2:44 In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. Daniel 7:13-14 13 “I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. 14 And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed. Psalm 146 3 Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. 4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. 5 Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD their GOD.
  8. Nikki1, your original comment states that only unrigteous kings and rulers will be subjected to God's wrath. Thus, it's logical to conclude from your statement that "righteous" rulers would not be subject to God's wrath. My initial comments stands, there aren't any righteous governments on Planet Earth, which is why almighty God will destroy every single one of them and enthrone his Beloved Son and will make him Ruler of all: Daniel 2:44 In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people.
  9. Almighty Heavenly Father, I humbly request the liberation of Pastor Bakhytzhan Kashkumbayev of Astana, Kazakhstan, in the name of your most beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen
  10. As far as I'm aware there aren't any righteous governments on Planet Earth. Who are the righteous kings and rulers to whom you are referring?
  11. I am reminded of the following bible verse: 2 Corinthians 2:17 Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God. It would be beneficial for Christians to know exactly which organizations: 1) have become peddlers of the word, 2) would try stop the spread of the gospel by prosecuting anyone who would freely share their Bibles. That said, I would like to think that most Christian organizations would not prosecute anyone who is freely sharing e-Bibles with those less fortunate. Thus, it is my personal belief that anyone sharing sharing e-Bibles on pirate bay need not fear repercussion.
  12. Acts 17:11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. 1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. The Holy Scriptures must be taken as a whole and we cannot ignore those verses with which we may not agree.
  13. The Holy Scriptures also mention that those same governments will be subject to God's wrath on the Great Day of the LORD: Revelation 6:15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” The Great Day of the LORD Zephaniah 1:14 The great day of the Lord is near, near and hastening fast; the sound of the day of the Lord is bitter; the mighty man cries aloud there. 15 A day of wrath is that day, a day of distress and anguish, a day of ruin and devastation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness, 16 a day of trumpet blast and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the lofty battlements. 17 I will bring distress on mankind, so that they shall walk like the blind, because they have sinned against the Lord; their blood shall be poured out like dust, and their flesh like dung. 18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the wrath of the Lord. In the fire of his jealousy, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full and sudden end he will make of all the inhabitants of the earth.
  14. Jesus Christ clearly stated in the parable of the Wheat and the Tares that false Christians would be growing amongst the True Christians, thus, we must use discernment when dealing with others within our local churches. Jesus Christ also warned about false prophets within our churches: Matthew 7:15 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves." Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the person who does what my Father in heaven wants. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we force out demons and do many miracles by the power and authority of your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them publicly, ‘I’ve never known you. Get away from me, you evil people.’ The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares: Matthew 13:24-30
  15. A careful reading of Paul’s advice to the Christians of his day answers your question: Romans 12:19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. Paul clearly stated that, although we are not to avenge ourselves, we are to make room for God’s wrath and allow God to avenge us; and he will do so because he is just. 2 Thessalonians 1:6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you Additionally, the souls under the altar were not complaining, they asked a question, which leads to the revealing of events that will occur on Planet Earth immediately prior to the day of God’s wrath. Revelation 6:10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been. 12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. 15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us[f] from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”
  16. I agree that two wrongs don't make a right, thus, I refuse to support any institution's claim to copyright the Bible. Those Institutions who have copyrighted Bibles should be put to the test to show whom they are serving. Additionally, there have been religious organizations who stood up to the laws of the land and got laws changed because they wanted to obey Almighty God rather than men.
  17. Since the Author of the Bible is Almighty God, there is absolutely no good reason for anyone to copyright His Holy Word because he hasn't given anyone authority to do so. The only individual I recognize that has any copyright to the Holy Scriptures is the Lord God Almighty. In matters where the laws of men do not support the Kingdom of Almighty God, we have to obey God rather than men because true Christians are citizens of the Kingdom of Almighty God. Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, Acts 5:29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men."
  18. Yes, it's legal to share e-Bibles on pirate sites. Almighty God hasn't given anyone copyrights to His Holy Scriptures. I would like to know when anyone thinks they received God's permission to copyright the Holy Scriptures. We have a command from God to preach the gospel: Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Acts 5:28 "We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name," he said. "Yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to make us guilty of this man's blood." 29 Peter and the other apostles replied: "We must obey God rather than human beings! 2 Timothy 2: 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
  19. Perhaps, though the bigger picture is it fulfills a prophecy and foreshadows a coming event. I think each one of us should be more interested in our walk with God. Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness,[a] and to walk humbly with your God? Romans 14:12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God. Also, don't know how much anyone is going to change society when the Apostle John wrote: 1 John 5:19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.
  20. While it’s true that Jesus Christ cleaned out the temple, it was to fulfill the prophecy found in Psalm 69:9 “for zeal for your house consumes me, and the insults of those who insult you fall on me.” Jesus’ actions were also a premonitory sign of what he would do as enthroned King. 1 Peter 4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin with God's household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? In regards to what Jesus Christ did with the religious leaders of his day, true Christians should follow his example and denounce the heresies that religious leaders have foisted on earnest people who are trying to attain the kingdom of God. And what should we do about evil? Romans 12:17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”d says the Lord. 20On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”e 21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Which are the same instructions that Jesus Christ gave: Matthew 5: 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous Psalm 27 14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 46 10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 47 8God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne. 9 The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings[c] of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.
  21. Agreed Will reply later, I've got some things I have to do.
  22. You are reading way too much into my writing. My point is that I am quoting Holy Scripture and you're bringing up a person that is not quoted in Holy Scripture. To reiterate, the only example every true Christian should be following is the example of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. Yes, we are to fight the good fight and here is a quote from the word of God telling us exactly who we are to fight and how: Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
  23. Don't listen to any human. Psalm 146 3 Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. 4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. 5 Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.
  24. From reading the Apostle Peter's letter, it appears as if he didn't get the memo about nothing bad happening to Christians. 1 Peter 2:20 But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. John 15:20 Remember what I told you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
