  1. That's the key right there, the one on one side of the river that Daniel saw asked how long till the end of these wonders, and the other answered with, "for a time, times, and an half" when the scattering of the holy people shall be accomplished and all these things finished. So right from the start, we are shown the end of ALL these things is at the end of the latter 1260 days of the 70th week of Dan.9:27, which also points to the events our Lord Jesus gave in His Revelation about that time, times, and an half, or 3.5 years, or 1260 days, or 42 months. That's where you are not understanding Daniel 8 about the "little horn", which is the same entity as the "vile person" for the end. Dan 8:11-14 11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. 12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. KJV The period being asked about is from the taking away of the daily sacrifice and placing of the abomination that makes desolate (Dan.11:31). The cleansing of the sanctuary can only be about the time of Jesus' return and end of the tribulation of 1260 days. So that's the end point of the 2300 days: [-------------------------"one week" or 7 years ------------------------] END [----------1260 days-----------]MIDDLE AOD[----------1260 days--------] .......... 220 days ...............[------------------2300 days---------------------] Question: what events are covered within that full 2520 day period while keeping that 2300 days period in mind? Like the Dan.8:13-14 verses say, 1) the daily sacrifice, then 2) the transgression or AOD, and then 3) the sanctuary and host trodden under foot (Rev.11:1-2), and then 4) the sanctuary is cleansed, pointing to a new sanctuary with Jesus having returned, the one of Ezekiel 40 forward. Is that in keeping with the Dan.9:27 prophecy about the "one week" or 70th final week? Yes. The false one will end the sacrifice in the middle of the "one week" and then place the abomination that makes the sanctuary spiritually desolate. So there's TWO anchors of the order of events given Daniel. In Dan.11 with what the "vile person" does, what's the order of events? He makes a "league" with a small group of leaders in Jerusalem, and then evidence of the old covenant ("holy covenant") worship is shown happening again, which requires a standing temple and sacrifices. Then he forsakes the "holy covenant" and ends the sacrifices and instead places an idol abomination. So there's 3 anchors for the order of events in Daniel. How then can the Dan.12:11 verse change that previous order? It cannot. So if your interpretation conflicts with those previous 3 examples of the order of events for the end, then it's not a sign from The Holy Spirit. It's a sign that your interpretation is in error against the Scripture. The way to interpret the Dan.12:11 verse is with keeping the order in mind that was given earlier in the Book of Daniel, like those examples I showed: Dan 12:11 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. KJV If we read that 11th verse literally, it says the 1290 days begins in the middle of the Dan.9:27 "one week", which is after the first 1260 day period. And then to the time when the AOD is setup is the end point. That immediately goes against the order given in Dan.9:27, and in Dan.8:11-14, and even Dan.11, and believe it or not, also the "time, times, and an half" given in Dan.12. So already you've got a conflict if you read that literally without understanding the order given previously in Daniel. The way to interpret that Dan.12:11 verse is to realize the AOD is setup at the end of the first 1260 day period of the "one week", and that AOD then causes the start of the latter 1260 day period like the previous Daniel Scripture does declare.
  2. A point you and I will probably never agree on is just who all does God's Word point to as the children of Israel. I am one who does not disregard the continued existence of the ten lost tribes. They are not lost to God, and if one actually pays attention in their OT Bible study, and then takes a real look at history, they will discover quite a lot of Bible prophecy pointing to the ten tribes of the "house of Israel" in the last days. And that is actually about the majority of Israelites, and they are not even in the state of Israel today. God made Ezekiel a watchman to the "house of Israel". In Ezekiel's day, the ten tribe "house of Israel" had already been scattered out of the holy land, the "house of Judah" only remaining in the lands of old Israel. Ezek 39:21-25 21 And I will set My glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see My judgment that I have executed, and My hand that I have laid upon them. 22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. 23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against Me, therefore hid I My face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. 24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid My face from them. 25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for My holy name; KJV It was the ten tribes of the northern kingdom of the "house of Israel" which God scattered first and made them lose knowledge of their heritage as part of Israel. That is why God shows at that point 'they' will know who they really are, and even the nations will then understand why they went into captivity. That passage is a repeat big time of Scripture like Hosea, which is prophecy meant for the ten scattered tribes of Israel. But did God hide His face from the "house of Judah" (i.e., the Jews)? No, He did not. He punished these also for their iniquity, but He caused a remnant of them to return from their Babylon captivity to build the city again and the 2nd temple. And in 1948 He moved their creation as a nation state again in the middle east, which was actually just continued fulfillment of His promise to David and to Jerusalem that He would always leave one tribe in Jerusalem (1 Kings 11). That Ezekiel 39:21-24 Scripture is pointing especially to the ten tribes of the "house of Israel", except the 25th verse where it says, "the whole house of Israel". Before God split old Israel into two nations, giving ten tribes to Jeroboam of Ephraim, all of Israel was known as the "house of Israel". But not after the split of Israel which God did in Solomon's day (1 Kings 11 forward). Now why would God even bother to mark His meaning of all the tribes of Israel with that "whole house of Israel" distinction? It's because the "house of Israel" phrase BEFORE THE FINAL GATHERING is only about the scattered ten tribes of Israel. The following is still yet to happen: Ezek 37:16-23 16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: 17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. 18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? 19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. 20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. 21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: 23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be My people, and I will be their God. KJV That of course has yet to happen today. The two sticks are still apart. Lot of Jews try to say that has come to pass with the nation state of Israel in 1948. But they have to throw away that Ezek.37:22 verse about, "and one king shall be king to them all". The nation state of Israel still doesn't have a king sitting upon a throne yet. Moreover, the coming pseudo-Christ is to come first to try and sit upon a throne in today's Jerusalem and proclaim himself as God (2 Thessalonians 2:4).
  3. I agree all 3 examples are parallels for the end, but we are not there just yet. The "abomination of desolation" event Jesus warned of from the Book of Daniel is about an idol abomination setup in a standing Jewish temple in Jerusalem. The "league" which the "vile person" of Daniel 11 is to make involves startup of the old covenant sacrificial worship again with a temple. Revelation 11:1-2 is pointing to that, along with the Antichrist's Gentile armies treading the city (Jerusalem) for 42 months. Because that 42 months period at the end is linked to those Gentiles treading Jerusalem, we know that is to occur at the very end of this world, which is also the time the dragon of Rev.13 is given to reign. The coming pseudo-Christ/Antichrist will fool the whole world (except Christ's elect) into thinking he is God. In Matt.24:23-26, Jesus revealed the coming of a pseudochristos that will have the power to work great signs and wonders that IF possible, would deceive even His very elect. That false one is the coming Antichrist, not some simpleton with charisma just saying he is Christ and then demanding his followers buy him a Rolls-Royce. This pseudo-Christ our Lord Jesus warned of will rain fire down from heaven in the sight of men (Rev.13:11-17). It's this coming false Christ who will have supernatural power, and thus will have the power to pull the globalist's "one world government" system together, and create a one-world kingdom, and a one-world religion to include all... religions of the world. Craft will prosper in his hand, and he will use peace to destroy those against him.
  4. That 'what if' type scenario simply isn't written in His Word though, because we are given quite a bit of detail as to how the end of this world will play out. Jerusalem will be in a fallen state when the pseudo-Christ shows up there working great signs and wonders as written. There will be another temple built with sacrifices started up again in Jerusalem, as Revelation 11:1-2 and Daniel 8, 9, 11, & 12 point to that, along with what Jesus warned in His Olivet discourse about the AOD in Jerusalem. That will be the time of the fake "Peace and safety" Apostle Paul spoke of, and in Daniel 11 with the vile person coming in peaceably. Worship of a false Christ that will do miracles like our Lord Jesus will fool the majority of the world into thinking he is God. But when he kills God's two witnesses in Jerusalem, that is when many will wake up as to who that one really is. Because the real battle damage against Satan at the end will be the Testimony by Christ's elect, that is when anger is going to be stirred up in the devil's face, and he will seek to destroy God's people off the earth once and for all. That will include the western Christian nations too, because the merchants of Tarshish in Ezekiel 38 that ask the spoiler if he has come to take a spoil, points to the old areas of Spain, Portugal, and Britain, which were ancient trade sources by Tyre for various metal ores. And who is at the top of the list in Ezekiel 38 which its allies are nations like: Libya, Persia (Iran-Iraq), Gomer (likely old Soviet satellites), Ethiopia (Sudan actually, since old Ethiopia used to include all the land south of Egypt), and Togarmah (old lands where Turkey is today); All those are allied with Russia. It's the radical Islamic nations that have been allied with Russia, with Russia sending them military support. The only ally there of Ezek.38 not yet made today is Turkey, but it's already showing signs of leaving NATO and allying with Russia. So it is a sign to watch. The Communist nations like Russia & Red China, together coming against the western Christian nations is what Ezekiel 38 & 39 is really pointing to. The lands of unwalled villages (open country) of a people that dwell safely without walls and gates are the western Christian nations.
  5. With the 5th Trumpet - 1st Woe, the star John saw fall does represent Satan, but it's not the timing of his casting out of Rev.12:7-9. He is simply taking the key and opening the bottomless pit to let the locusts out. The 5th trumpet - 1st woe period is a prep working by the locust army of the Book of Joel. On the 6th trumpet - 2nd woe is when the casting down of the devil is per Rev.12:7-9. That specific hour, day, month, year is about the tribulation. It continues all the way to the 7th trumpet - 3rd woe in Revelation 11.
  6. I admonish you to look deeper in God's Word, because He showed us quite a bit about the world to come, and in comparison to this present world. Only the surface of this earth is going to be destroyed, not the whole planet. And the Heavenly dimension is going to be revealed right here, on earth. God's Garden of Eden was once upon this earth per Genesis 2, and His River flowed out of His Eden to feed four other rivers upon the earth, two of which we still know where they are (Euphrates and Tigris). The earth is forever, and God said He did not create it tohuw ("without form"), He created it to be inhabited (Isa.45:18).
  7. I don't know, I'm still pretty hard-headed. Difficult to get the old military out of me, even though I was USAF, yet my Dad was a Marine, but my Mom was a General.
  8. The 1290 days and 1335 days have to be after the latter 1260 days of tribulation. Dan.12:1 is pointing to the tribulation time. Then Dan.12:6 asks how long to the end of these wonders, and verse 7 answers with the 3.5 year period which is 1260 days. So the subject is about the 'end' of the latter half of the Dan.9:27 final week. Thus Dan.12:11 verse is to be understood in that light. Dan 12:11-12 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. KJV "And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up" = is about the middle of the seven years of Dan.9:27 when Antichrist stops the sacrifices and instead sets up the abomination idol. That abomination then continues to the end of the latter half of the seven years, which is the latter 1260 day period, and ended by Jesus' coming. This because in Dan.9 we are told the 70th week will finish the transgression. The 1335 day period is a time of blessing for Christ's servants, so that cannot... be within the 1260 day period of tribulation at all.
  9. Paul did not link the rapture prior... to the "day of the Lord". The day of Jesus coming to gather His Church is the same day the wicked and deceived suffer the "sudden destruction" on the "day of the Lord". We do not have to physically go anywhere to escape that "sudden destruction" Paul mentioned that we are not appointed to. In Daniel 3, God gave an example of that final day of destruction with the hot fiery furnace heated seven times hotter than needed. The king of Babylon's servants were incinerated when they got near that furnace, but God's servants Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were seen alive within the furnace with a 4th Man with them who appeared like the Son of God. God's consuming fire will not hurt us. When the 50 soldiers were sent to arrest Elijah, he told them that if he be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume them. Fire then came down from heaven and burned the fifty and their captain up, but it did not touch Elijah (2 Kings 1). God can be very accurate with His Fire from Heaven. We have no need to worry about it touching us.
  10. There is solid proof that our Lord Jesus intends His Olivet discourse for His whole Church. In Matthew 24 with the verses about Jesus' coming, and sending the angels to gather His saints, the Matthew 24 gathering version is different than the Mark 13 version. In Matthew 24, the saints are gathered from Heaven. In the Mark 13 version the saints are gathered from the earth. What that means is that it aligns perfectly with what Apostle Paul taught in 1 Thessalonians 4 about the gathering of the Church. The "asleep" saints are gathered from Heaven, and Jesus brings them with Him like Paul said. Then the saints still alive on earth are gathered to Jesus in the Heavenly like Paul said. So to deny that in our Lord Jesus' Olivet discourse is to deny it also in 1 Thessalonians 4 by Apostle Paul. Thusly, those trying to use Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 being for Jews only, and thus as an excuse to discard our Lord Jesus' declaration of His coming to gather the Church after the tribulation, have actually setup a trap for themselves.
  11. Well, obviously, our U.S. President now (Trump) is pro-Israel, and the Ezekiel 38 chapter reveals the nations that will come upon Israel on the last day of this world. None of the western countries are part of it.
  12. Sorry to hear about your mother. My condolences.
  13. Yes the first five verses are a summary about the "woman" representing Israel, I agree with that. But in verses 3-4 it is also including the event of Satan's original rebellion against God so as to be an easy identifier of who that "red dragon" is. But no, the latter Rev.12 references to the woman after verse 7 is about Christ's Church to include 'believing' Israel. This is why Rev.12:11 says they overcame the dragon by the blood of The Lamb (Christ), pointing to the tribulation for the end since that is when the dragon is booted down to the earth with his angels and no more in Heaven to accuse us before God's throne. You don't get to the first 1260 days until verse 6, with verse 7 being about the war in Heaven with Satan and his angels booted down to this earth. The first 5 verses are a type of summary, from the time of Satan's original rebellion against God all the way to the future beyond us today when Jesus will reign over the nations with a rod of iron as promised. So you need to back up... and consider that event given in Rev.12:3-4 about what the "red dragon" did, and when he did it, for that specific event happened of old, and is NOT about the events of the Book of Daniel 70 weeks prophecy. You simply skipped the proper timing of the "red dragon" drawing a third of the stars to earth with him to include a beast that had ten horns, seven heads, and only seven crowns (Rev.12:3-4). It's pretty obvious you don't yet know what that passage means. That event happened of old, and is NOT the same beast system of Rev.13:1-2 that is to have ten crowns. That's why that old beast system is mentioned PRIOR to verse 6. Beginning at verse 6 in Rev.12 is... the first mention of the 70th week prophecy from the Book of Daniel. Simply, in the first 5 verses, there are several timeline jumps. And between verse 5 & 6 there is a timeline jump (from Christ's future reign back to the trib time). Sorry bro, but you simply failed to address that Rev.12:3-4 event of old when Satan as that "red dragon" first rebelled against God. It's obvious you don't believe Satan's original rebellion even involved a beast kingdom like those verses reveal. Yet there it is, revealed by our Lord Jesus through His servant John. There are many Scriptures brethren wrestle with because they have preconceived notions that get in the way of reading the Scriptures as they are actually written. None of the following is about the tribulation time, i.e., not about Daniel's 70th week: Rev 12:1-5 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: The view is from Heaven here. The sun and moon descriptors to the woman have first mention in Joseph's dream of Gen.37 about his mother and father, thus pointing to Israel. But to Israel 'when'? Per Apostle Paul in Rom.9, before either child was born, God said He loved Jacob but hated Esau. So this view in Heaven of Israel's election goes all the way back to the time when God ordained faithful Israel before the foundation of the world. The fact that Jacob and his wife understood the sun and moon symbols in Joseph's dream reveals this also (see Malachi 1 also). 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. This is about the beginning of this world, with Eve being the mother of the lineage that would birth our Lord Jesus. 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. These two verses are about Satan, and his rebellion of old when he drew a third of the angels into rebellion with him. And then at the start of this present world, he awaits the birth by the woman to try and prevent the birth of The Child. That attempt started first when Cain murdered Abel. In OT history, Satan continually tried to taint or destroy the bloodline that Jesus would be born through even down to Herod looking to kill baby Jesus. 5 And she brought forth a man Child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her Child was caught up unto God, and to His throne. KJV That is about our Lord Jesus when He was born through Mary's womb and then He ascended to The Father after His death and resurrection, awaiting the time in our future when He will rule all nations with that rod of iron. After these first 5 verses, the timeline jumps to the 70th week Daniel prophecy.
  14. Yet, he is not the false prophet that works miracles either. The pope will simply be another deceived Christian leader among many in the last days, wrongly teaching the coming pseudo-Christ is our Lord Jesus.
  15. But what of all those other direct pointers to Jerusalem that I mentioned? One cannot substantiate that it's Rome with just the phrase "seven heads" or "seven mountains", and here's another reason why that is so: Rev 12:3-4 3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. KJV That event of verse 4, about the third of stars (angels) being drawn to the earth by that dragon (Satan) sets the time of that beast of "seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns". That is NOT about the latter day beast kingdom, nor any other time except the time of Satan's original rebellion of old per Isaiah 14. That beast had only "seven crowns" if you'll note. The one in Rev.13 for the end is to have ten crowns. Yet, there that "seven heads" is with that old beast system that Satan originally rebelled with! So did that mean seven hills of Rome back then of old when Satan first rebelled? No, of course not. So that is another reason why we can't just arbitrarily assign the idea of 'seven hills' around city in place of our Lord Jesus' definition of "seven mountains" in Rev.17.
  16. I agree the 10 kings (ten toes) are about the 4th beast in Dan.7, and that the "little horn" also is of that 4th beast per Dan.7. I also agree that the beast kingdom and beast king of Rev.13 is the 4th beast of Daniel 7, and also about the 7th king of Rev.17:10 that must continue "a short space". Rev 17:1 ... I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: KJV Per Rev.17:15 those "waters" the great whore sits upon represent peoples, multitudes, tongues, and nations, meaning geographical areas on earth, so how am I confused on that, because that shows the "seven mountains" are not about the idea of just seven hills? And even if it was about seven hills surrounding a city like Rome, that definition was applied to old Jerusalem back in its history too. Per Rev.17:18 the "woman" is a "great city". Per Rev.17:8 Jerusalem is referenced as the "great city" where God's two witnesses are killed with their dead bodies being left in the street, and it is where the beast ascends out of the bottomless pit to kill them. In 2 Thess.2:3-4, Apostle Paul showed the coming Antichrist will exalt himself in the "temple of God" which is a direct reference to a standing temple in Jerusalem. Paul showed that false one will work great signs and lying wonders to deceive. In Matthew 24:23-26 Jesus showed us about a coming pseudo-Christ ("false Christs" actually is Greek pseudochristos in the NT manuscripts) to Jerusalem for the end, working great signs and wonders that if possible would deceive even His very elect. In Rev.13:11, John is shown a second beast, an entity, appearing with two horns like a lamb (symbolic of Christ), but speaks as a dragon (Satan). He is to rain fire down from heaven in the sight of men, and work great signs and wonders to deceive the whole world. So no, I cannot buy that the coming Antichrist is about a pope or the RCC. That was an old Protestant belief. (My ancestors were French huguenots, the first Protestants in France which the old RCC had war against).
  17. Actually, in Daniel 7 the subject begins with his seeing four great beasts that come up out of the sea, each one being compared to an animal. Those are kingdoms like the one in Rev.13:1-2 that comes out of the sea. Even the idea of the ten horns (ten kings) is about the beast kingdom idea. But I agree the "little horn" is about a beast king, the one defined in the Rev.17:8-10 Scripture. Yet Rev.17 is covering both, the beast kingdom idea, and the beast king idea, so one must learn to keep those separate in that Chapter, and likewise in Daniel 7. I recognize the subject of the seven heads in Rev.17:9 being a different subject than the kings of Rev.17:10. The seven heads we are told are seven mountains, not kings. I see the seven mountains as seven geographical areas on earth where 7 powers are setup. Recall per the Book of Daniel when the "little horn" comes up he will subdue 3 of the 1o kings. That leaves 7 kings. I believe the seven kings will rule over those seven mountains areas on the earth, and the 3 subdued kings will be over a triparte division of the earth. Those 3 subdued kings still rule with the beast king evidently, because Rev.17:12 verse says all ten receive power with the beast king for one hour, the "one hour" symbolizing the tribulation time. (Mind you, the above has nothing to do with the idea of the 7 kings of Rev.17:10, of which John said 5 of them were already past history, and one still existed in his day, with the 7th yet to come.)
  18. See what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 11 about the "another Jesus". This is what he was actually pointing to. About the idea of one of the "seven heads" suffering a "deadly wound"..., I realize that's where some get the supposition that the beast is killed and then comes back to life, however, that is not actually what the deadly wound is about. Rev 13:3 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. KJV The "seven heads" is part of the 1st beast of Rev.13:1-2 which has ten horns and ten crowns, meaning it is a system, a kingdom beast. That's why Rev.13:2 references the beast kingdoms of Daniel 7. The following Scripture later in Rev.13 also reveals this point: Rev 13:11-12 11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. KJV This "another beast" is the 2nd beast mentioned in Rev.13. It is an entity, a person, i.e., the Antichrist. So he is not the "first beast" of Rev.13:1-2, and that's why it says it's the first beast whose deadly wound was healed, meaning one of the seven heads of the kingdom beast. A Reformer would say it was the Roman empire who suffered a dead wound that is healed for the end. I say it is the old beast kingdom of Rev.12:3-4 which Satan the dragon rebelled against God with of old, when he drew a third of the angels into rebellion with him. That old ten horn, seven head beast system is healed for the very end, except it will have "ten crowns" instead of "seven crowns" like it had of old. If one doesn't understand this, then they probably wouldn't understand how Ezekiel 31 can points to nations under the one there that was in God's Garden of Eden, which has to mean a time prior to Adam and Even.
  19. Yes, I'm aware of how our Heavenly Father is using the king and prince of Tyre to speak metaphorically about Satan, as also in Ezek.31 with Pharaoh and the king of Assyria, and in Isaiah 14 with the king of Babylon. It's not about speaking to a spiritual force. It's simply metaphorical expression, i.e., speaking of someone or something when actually referring to another. In Isaiah 10 God uses "the Assyrian" title when actually speaking of Satan. Same thing in Isaiah 14 when He began by telling Isaiah to take up a proverb against the king of Babylon, and then referring to Lucifer. Our Lord Jesus used the same kind of metaphorical speech against the vain scribes and Pharisees. One must forget about Hollywood's portrayal of the devil and the spirit realm because it does not align with God's Word. Satan does not need to takeover someone's flesh body to manifest those spirits of demons that will come out of his 'mouth' when he gets here on earth.
  20. That image of the beast might be a hologram of Satan sent to all nations outside Jerusalem too. I believe Satan will appear as himself on earth in the sight of men, a beautiful angel, de facto in Jerusalem, playing Christ. He will probably look like all the artist's pictures on the living room walls of what people think our Lord Jesus looked like. The whole world except Christ's elect on earth will be deceived into thinking Satan is The Christ. Only when Jesus is revealed coming in the clouds will the nations mourn and wish for the hills and mountains to fall upon them because of their shame.
  21. Sorry, but I don't believe you are on the right track with all that. We have to stick to how God's Word uses those titles, and context of where they are written. Per Rev.12:9 & 20:2, the "dragon" is just another title for Satan himself.
  22. I don't hold to all that third heaven stuff. There's only two different dimensions of existence revealed in God's Word, this earthly one and the heavenly one (1 Cor.15). It's just that the heavenly has places of separation, like hell is still in the heavenly dimension but in a place of separation from where Paradise and where our Heavenly Father and The Son is. This is why Satan's abode of the pit is also called a 'prison'. Although the visible sky is also called a heaven in Scripture, that's still of this earthly dimension we live in, which is why it's visible. But Heaven where God's Abode is, and where the abode of the wicked is, are invisible to the naked eye, unless God shows it to us like He did with the one in 2 Cor.12. At the very end of that 6th Seal is when that 14th verse will take effect, because it's timed with the events of the 7th Trumpet and 7th Vial. The 13th verse is actually about Satan and his angels as that idea of "untimely figs". That's about the winter fig that grows in the winter and falls off in the spring. It's a too early fig, and that's exactly what Satan is going to do, i.e., come PRIOR to our Lord Jesus' return. Look closely at Rev.12:3-4, which is telling about Satan's original rebellion of old, when he drew a third of the stars to earth with him. Notice that system had ten horns, seven heads, but only "seven crowns" instead of ten crowns. By our Lord Jesus showing us that point first in Rev.12 before the section about Satan and his angels being booted down to this earth for the end times, it reveals the beast kingdom system of Rev.13:1-2 is but a model of the old one which Satan originally rebelled against God when coveting His Throne.
  23. I see Ezekiel 28:18 pointing to Satan being burned up on the earth because of Rev.20:9 at the end of the 1,000 years. The sin the coming Antichrist/pseudo-Christ is going to do for the last days is the same sin Satan did of old in coveting God's Throne. So with Rev.12 about there being no more place in Heaven found for him, that tells me he is actually booted out of the heavenly dimension, even out of hell where his abode of the pit is. And this is what the beast ascending out of the bottomless pit I feel is strongly pointing to.
  24. Good examples you posted from the OT to show how Jerusalem is the metaphorical Babylon for the last days. God's two witnesses in Jerusalem will be similar to Moses and Aaron in old Egypt, and similar to the two angels sent to Lot in Sodom. Wait a minute, Rev.11:8 refers to Jerusalem spiritually as Sodom and Egypt, doesn't it? Go figure.
