Yeah not decisive. There is no doubt that 1/3 of the angels fell....but that does not make them demons -

As far as what the demons are I am not sure they are angels, as no one has ever bee possessed by an angel And Jude 6 Tells us that fallen angels are locked up 6 And the angels who did not keep their [c]proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day -

Just have chime in here. All Christians are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. They may not have the baptism which brings the power to minister, but we all have the Holy Spirit. And while a Christian can be demon oppressed they cannot be demon possessed Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies [d]through His Spirit who dwells in you. -

I do believe he has had enough bites out of you It sounds like he is using your good nature to try and manipulate you. You don't need anymore of that drama.... He is the kids dad...so you will never be free of Him completely but arms length or a tenfoot pole is a good idea Do not let him hurt you or the kids again -
What will happen, is all pre-ordained. What is important is that we know and believe God is with us in our time of need Philippians 4: 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Meditate on These Things 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Again the question here was not about guilt. There was never any question of her guilt. What was at question was the punishment...her death. We do not have to be perfect top promote God's truth. If that was the case, it would never be promoted. But we can and must promote it, because it is GOD's truth

I just want to make a few things clear When Jesus is talking about judgment against this woman who was caught in adultery here, He is telling them not to throw rocks at her and kill her. No one was saying don't say what she was doing was wrong, not even Jesus All Jesus was saying is that the right to kill someone over a sin is only in the hands of He who also hasn't sinned This is NOT about telling people the truth, This is not about correcting someone in sin, this is about KILLING someone in sin. To try and use this verse to say we should not comment on the right and wrong of things in people's lives is a tremendous misuse Jesus did not excuse here sin....He simply chose not to kill her (which he was within His right to do being the Perfection he was) He told her to go and sin no more.

God does not control people. This is something you will have to handle. I do have to say if you have had a child with him, he is the baby's daddy and he is inexorably part of the baby's and your life. The situation was created outside of the will of God. He will help you deal with it. but deal with it you must

ARE YOU A LIGHT, SHINING IN THE DARKNESS?
Riverwalker replied to debrakay's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
I try but I could definitely be brighter -
I have several go to scriptures that I re-read when the big bad boogie man of Anxiety Worry and Fear starts playing the bongos in my head Chief among them is this: Philippians 4: 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. So what does this mean....How do you pray like you believe it when you are swamped with anxiety? Step 1. PRAY...run directly to God do not pass go do not collect 200 dollars. Don't try to figure it out...don't fret on it ...just pray. And I find the most simple prayers like "HELP!" to be the most effective. Get humble, get on your knees and het help Step 2 THANK GOD. and this is the key to praying like you believe it. Not only do you give it to him but you THANK Him for taking care of it. There in lies the faith. Do you believe God is willing to help you, and will help you? Then take his peace and thank him Step 3: STOP THINKING ABOUT IT. You gave it God...He will take care of it....leave it in His hands, if you take it back...you will just have give it back...so how do you stop thinking about it? As Peter Pan says...you think "Happy Thawts" Or as God says 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. So give it all to God, He wants to take it from you, so you can soldier on. 1 Peter 5: 5 “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. The faith of a mustard seed is not about big or small. It is about doing what it is on your nature as a born again Christian to do. The will of God -
Ever been too tired to continue fighting?
Riverwalker replied to love child's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
I find the best way to get all my prayers answered is simply to say "God Thy will be done" for His way....His will....His time is the best possible outcome I could ever look for in my life. He knows what I want, He knows what I need and more importantly he knows what I do not need As Garth Brooks sang, sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers...although God does answer all prayers, just sometimes the answer is no. Or wait And when the wait gets a little too hard, I run back to my favorite Scripture Isaiah 40: 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. God bless and keep up the good fight of faith, but remember to let God lead. -
I find the best advice usually resonates with what God is trying to tell me, but I am too busy to hear or it is a confirmation of what I have already heard. recognizing Godly wisdom. I also find that family member are the worst form giving and accepting advice. Defenses go up. Even Jesus said in Mark 6:4 But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. So pray for your brother to have someone come into his life to tell him these things, because he is not likely to hear them from you.

Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

And I tend to agree, but I also think we all have some hypocrite running through us. But I guess we would be talking about those people who MAJOR in it -

Were you going to expand on this? Kind of leaving us hanging here. My biggest question is what defines a "worker of iniquities" and the average Christian who falls into sin on occasion -
Revelation 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, [a]John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” It is very hard knowing that a young life was snuffed out and possibly without salvation. Your son is learning a hard, but powerful lesson. Be there for him and encourage him, don't let part of him go with this young man. You all have my prayers

Oh but Tammy... "Jesus taught about love, acceptance, tolerance and overlooking sin" (said no one who actually ever read the bible)
