  1. The enemy wants to destroy you, and your testimony. So he loves to use your zeal for the Lord and to place a root of pride from within so that he can bring forth destruction upon you. Remember that he wants to rob, kill, and destroy! What kind of thoughts does the enemy use? "Oh you are so much smarter than he is!" "Oh you are so holy -- look at the way those Christians live!" "Oh you are so spiritual -- you really have the anointing!" "You don't need to learn from another person!" Then there's the thoughts the enemy uses that starts cults? "Oh you are special and I have giving you special knowledge and I have chosen you for a special assignment!" This is not to say that if you have this kind of thought, that it's not from the Spirit of God, but you also have to recognize that this is the exact same kinds of thoughts the enemy would also use to lead someone astray. Remember that you are commanded by the Spirit of God to TEST ALL THINGS! To fend off spiritual pride -- remember to always compare yourself with God's holiness and His righteousness! DON'T compare yourselves with another person! Be as Isaiah was -- a true prophet of the Lord and what happened when he was in the presence of God! The enemy wants to puff you up! Recognize the difference between the Spirit of God and the false spirits. The Spirit of God will push you to be more humble, whereas the enemy wants to puff you up! Recognize the tactics of the enemy -- clothe yourselves in humility! Oh the Lord wants to do great things in your life -- but to do them he needs a vessel that is HUMBLE! Your brother in Messiah with much agape love, George This is outstanding realization. I wonder how seriously we ask ourselves these questions from time to time. I wonder. But then I realize I know the answer: Never very seriously at all. Or if we are seeking seriously, it's always proportionate to our current "understanding" of what pride really is... which almost always very short of the reality. Pride is maybe the NUMBER ONE BIG GUN the enEmy uses against us...ALL of us. With exception of maybe Fresno Joe, lol. And I'll betcha that even if you were to ask him, he'd tell you what a struggle he's had with pride (seriously). Pride is our biggest downfall. There have been three major times in my life when I thought I had been purged of pride, only for each additional lesson that God brought my way to prove that I was not only wrong, but that I was still FULL of pride. I tell you, people... Getting a glimpse of someone that is void of pride? It's a very, very rare sight. I'm 56 years old and I had not been blessed with a glimpse of such a being...until a month ago. Just MEETING someone void of pride, truly void, will change the life of ANYONE, including us, personally. We should all seek God in this regard.
  2. This doesn't belong in the "archives". We do well to remember this daily. Thanks, Pal...
  3. One blind man was healed when the Lord spit into his eyes. He later went on to start a congregation called the Spit-tites. One blind man was healed by a simple touch of the Lord. He later went on to start a congregation called the touchivians. Now the years had passed and the three blind men were leading their respective congregations: Mudivians, Spit-tites, and the Touchivians. Each of these once blind men, claimed to know the way of being healed, because each was healed by Jesus! When these men got together, each refuted the other one, because of a very real event in their lives, and how they were healed by the Lord! Each contended that their way was the right way of being healed! They had forgotten, that their healing had not rested in the method of healing, but in the healer! So it is in our days, we forget that the Lord cannot be contained in a box, or his methods are the same for every person! He created each of us, unique, and for each and every person that is brought into the Kingdom, there's a unique method the Lord uses -- but we all come into the Kingdom by the same way -- through Messiah who is the way, the truth and the life! So if you are a mudivian, a spit-tite, or a touchivian, remember the common bond that unites us as one! Don't lose site of the Lord -- and maintain your focus on HIM! For it's the Lord's desire -- Let's not loose sight of the reason we are all here, for the hope of spreading the GOSPEL! Keep our eyes on Jesus... Amen.
  4. he was pretty open about that in his book. In “Audacity of Hope” he writes: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” The quote comes from page 261. That would make the 1st thing I've ever seen out of hIs mouth that is the truth.
  5. Roger that. I've just heard multiple accounts of people inside the White House, including remarks of that of the Vice President, that there was nothing "Christmas" allowed. Perhaps these were "holiday trees". But you're right. I'm not interested.
  6. I just discovered this topic first posted in 2003. I wish I had found it earlier. I'll be reviewing this until I've covered everything brought forward here. Thanks George.

  8. Yes, this is a regular part of my ministry. Every Saturday I train teams in supernatural ministry and then take them to the streets, parks, and malls to spread the love of Jesus. I also attend a Church where this is becoming a strong part of the Church culture. This is something that is every day life for me. Well I think that is beyond outstanding. I, too, have seen God heal... but I've never stopped long enough to think how God might still be doing this as signs for unbelievers. You've really given me something to think about here. May God continue to BLESS YOU in this ministry of signs, wonders and healing, Brother! .......... Wow...
  9. It's not a church though is it? At least it's not pretending to be Christian (from what I can tell). There are some 'so-called Christian' churches that are preaching a false gospel (eg. homosexual marriages) and are twisting scripture to suit their own beliefs, but this is merely a belief in cannabis. It's not a twisting of Christianity - it's just a non-Biblical belief in something different. Its still wrong though and it's a false religion..... It is a "church" by what the term has come to mean today. I don't think they are deceived at all. I think they all know exactly what they are doing. I think they know that what they do is wrong and dark. It's simply their choice to be that way. Making a "church" out of it is their way of "rubbing religion's nose in it".
  10. He has. Delivery of one of the white house trees. In front of one tree. In front of another tree. I have to have a little more than that, Mam. Pics in front of trees are easy. When and where were these taken? Is there any evidence of a Christmas tree in the White House since hE has been preSident?
  11. I'll read baRak's "proclamation" when hE puts up a Christmas tree.
  12. I've watched almost all his vids! He's a bright and refreshing young man. And funny! HAHAH...
  13. Joshua? I don't know what to say! Is this a regular part of your ministry?
  14. Amen to both of these... Getting to know people is sometimes a challenge. It's even harder in this digital realm with the lack of body language to accent what is being said. And there no doubt may be discrepancies in this or that, such as reputation points, etc.. But when you succeed in knowing someone, it becomes more about the "unsaid" than the said. The relationships I enjoy the most are with those people that can somehow know my heart DESPITE what comes out of my mouth. It can be complicated... but it can also be very simple. I think people for the most part need to just give everything time when it comes to developing friendships... and just.. be yourself. Whoever the "real you" is, just be that. To me, personal friendship isn't possible unless there is honesty. 1 real friend is worth far more than a thousand acquaintances wearing masks. That reputation indicator is no indication of relational status. It's something people click on when you have said something that matches their own point of view, or it's a post you really enjoyed and appreciate the fact someone brought it forth. You don't have to be a real "friend" to click the "reputation" indicator. That said, people will find all sorts of reasons to think more highly of themselves than they should. Each and every one of us wrestle with that because it's simply a part of this fallen flesh that we all must contend with. But what you'll find is, in people where the Holy Spirit resides, those people can take those things captive and consciously overcome the nature. I see a whole lot of that among the Christians here at worthy... as well as in real life. We all have flaws and are less than perfect. To anyone struggling with "fitting in", Jesus already made sure of that. You do fit in. As far as friendships with others? Give it some time and maybe even some extra effort? But you don't have to blow yourself out or self-condemn to the point of defeat or withdrawal. Just be yourself. Just be your real self, sharing your strengths as well as your weaknesses. It'll pan out. It always does.
  15. Yes Sir. Is not a sir Oh my goodness! I am SORRY! I don't know why I assumed you were a guy... The same thing has happened to me and I guess I was on auto-pilot in my thoughts. I am truly sorry, Mam... Kwik: Agreed.
  16. I just have to give that at least one "AMEN!" up in here!
  17. This is true... VERY true. Recruits are attracted with lies and promises that isLam never intends to keep. Then, after their indoctrination, they are slaves because if they fail to perform the way they are commanded, they are murdered and/or their family is also endangered. isLam rules by terror, most hard hit are the very ones working for tHEm.
  18. Canada is currently being FLOODED with an influx of Muslims. No country I'm aware of has "Just said NO." except for Denmark. Denmark says, "No thank you. This is enough." That's why "political correctness" has been bred into this generation of Americans... to make us "tolerant" to the point of inviting in the enEmy, sustaining them, ultimately to our own demise.
  19. That probably means it's a good and factual source. Absolutely excellent information... It's based upon the Gharaniq incident. Something that Muslims know completely discredits their faith. http://wikiislam.net/wiki/Satanic_Verses_-_Gharaniq_Incident More good info. You all are on the ball. THANKS for this. Knowing the enEmy can help in many ways.
  20. I stopped paying much attention to our local newspaper because it was so one sided and undependable. Whenever I knew the facts personally, the news got it wrong. They are politically correct which I consider most often to be incorrect. So why bother if it only raises my blood pressure. I quit taking the newspaper 40 years ago when I stopped watching soap operas. Worthy news tends to be more reliable, I believe. However, todays news is yellow journalism or propaghanda, in my opinion. It is intended to sway opinion and be sensational rather than to report facts. And social media is mostly gossip. Even the videos don't tell the whole story. It is much more peaceful to stick my head in the sand but I always give in to the temptation to peek and see what is going on. Bing-Banga-BOOM! I'll bet, given you're habits, you're much less distracted by error also. There are still sources available where Christian peoples can get real news and keep up with what's important. But it's not as readily available as NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC and NPR. ALL of these news sources are government controlled and little more than propaganda machines. I do believe Worthy News is a great source for real news with real facts and from a Christian perspective. The Jerusalem Post and Fox News are also accurate outlets with the stories you'll never hear elsewhere that are relevant to our realities. There are others I'm sure, but with these I am familiar.
  21. Here's one review on the book on Amazon: "This book is worth the price of admission alone just for its insights into debunking the origin of Mecca and the Kaaba. Muslims will hate that portion of the book more than almost any other, because there is simply no answer for it. This book debunks Islam form an historical and cartographical perspective, get it and you'll be able to do likewise, too. There's nothing there, to the historical origins of Islam, Muhammad never counted on actual scholarship checking his work (how could he?), and this book is the organization of centuries worth of accumulated knowledge. Get it and you'll not only know what the Western world is more or less unwilling and/or disinterested to learn, but what the Middle Eastern world does not want you to know."
  22. +1 to all the rest of the "religions" in this world. The enEmy never runs out of distractions.
