Where there are true believers, some of the works of the devil are destroyed, and where they live, and what and where they pray for, the devil is hindered, at Yahweh's discretion (He decided long ago, and controls all things and works all things out for the good of those who Love Him, who are called according to His Purpose) . Overall, over the whole world, the 'church' (visible group, not invisible body of Christ) has contributed to more evil than isis, and murdered the saints and innocent blameless men, women and children by the millions, for many centuries. (as it seem you are aware already). Yes, the devil , the prince of the power of the air, is controlling mankind: called "sons of disobedience" in Ephesians 2, (which we all once were btw).

footnote: SDA's are wrong about some things. Some more than others, depending on who they trust. RCC is wrong about everything [practically, if not in every detail], because of Who it says not to trust, and who it says to trust. (wrong in both cases). That has not changed - falsehoods abound, mixed with a little truth, and people swallow the poison along with the little truth ("bait") ..... Or they might believe the truth, with a so-called 'poison needle' imbedded in it, not realizing something is wrong, very wrong, until much loss has occurred. (a short or long true story or parable or Scripture, with a seemingly "small" error included in it - potentially devasting and destructive consequences ) .... Test everything, remain in prayer always, and abide in Jesus, in union with Jesus, as written.

As people have learned Hebrew, original Scripture, Aramaic and Greek, Israel's way of life, living and feasts, or most important of all, as Yahweh removes the veil as was required even for the Apostles and disciples walking with Jesus, as Scripture is understood clearly and truthfully and fully as Yahweh gives the understanding, the people have been set free from all false directions , false explanations, false hopes, and false religious doctrines, dogmas and practices. They don't even start out seeking to dis-prove anything : wonderfully and by divine grace just seeking for the truth, learning from Yahweh... His Way, in Jesus.

Tasty strudel, or too much salt, Jesus died for all the contestants and was raised from the dead never to die again , so if they come to Him they could have hope for the resurrection themselves instead of eternal death.

Mis-construed, sorry. Yeshua's death and resurrection was required so the ekklesia have hope of eternal life, resurrection in Him. The sleep of believers is not even related to His Sacrifice, to His death on a cross. (except that it is because of His death, and His resurrection, that believers "sleep" instead of dying since His life and resurrection)

Again, mis-construed. All of Yahweh's Word is Truth. When death is required, "sleep" is not the answer. Yahweh raised Yeshua from the dead, not from sleep.

A false message that gains strength when TORAH is mis-used. TORAH never changed, but men have corrupted the truth ever since the wolves that tore apart the flock(s) immediately after the Apostle's left this life, as also the assemblies were warned about ahead of time. It is very good when TORAH is used properly, and when Yahweh grants understanding of His Word. Not common, (not normal today, not the usual thing anywhere), but very good when Yahweh does. Yahweh wrote He sent a famine of the hearing of the Word of Yahweh once. For centuries it looks like He Kept and Honored His Word in this. Society goes on and on and on, never learning, never hearing, not even seeking to hear His Word....

Sorry, mis-construed. Yeshua HaMashiach had to die to pay for people's sin. "sleep" didn't and wouldn't pay the price.

Remember, pray always , read, continue to read, Jesus' Words in Scripture, and be a DOER of His Word, not just a reader/hearer. When He told the disciples something, it was truth. Same today. Most of His disciples left Him (walked away from Him) after being with Him for a while. They didn't want to give up everything, so they left Him, saying His Words were too hard to bear. Same with most people today.

Yahweh's Word is Pure, Enlightening the soul. There is no hatred and no anti-Semitic emotion in His Word. When He Reveals Scripture to anyone, when Yahweh Grants Understanding, there is no emotional hatred nor anti-Semitism involved at all. When men try to understand apart from Yahweh, they get all messed up, whether with emotional hatred OR emotional love (not God's love). It doesn't matter what man's scholarship is or says or does - man's wisdom and knowledge cannot comprehend nor see the Truth nor heaven nor God's Way (as God's Word Clearly Says).

Well, a lot of people thought he was not of sound mind, but that doesn't matter. And he was quite accurate about some things, maybe many things, but that doesn't matter. The problem was he was of split mind, like others posting recently. With part of his life he wanted to serve God. He just wouldn't serve God with His whole life, whole heart, whole soul and all of his strength. That is the eternal problem (as Jesus puts it). Like most others, no matter where they are, he was not willing to give up everything to be a disciple - his heart was set on keeping the riches on this earth (money and what money buys), and as long as someone, anyone, serves mammon, they cannot serve God ...... Jesus says this still today, every day.
