  1. Overspreading/Hebrew kanaph 3671 meaning and edge or extremity a quarter [of a building] a pinnacle. 27 He will make a binding covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he will suspend both the sacrifice and grain offerings. Destructive people will cause desolation on the uttermost edge[n] of the Sanctuary[o] until it is complete and what has been decreed is poured out on the desolator.’” 27 That ruler will have a firm agreement with many people for seven years, and when half this time is past, he will put an end to sacrifices and offerings. The Awful Horror[d] will be placed on the highest point of the Temple and will remain there until the one who put it there meets the end which God has prepared for him.” 27 For one week[n]this foreigner[o] will make a firm agreement with many people, and halfway through this week,[p] he will end all sacrifices and offerings. Then the “Horrible Thing” that causes destruction will be put there. And it will stay there until the time God has decided to destroy this one who destroys. The overspreading means to place an idol somewhere in the Temple of God, of the Image of the (Rev. 13) Beast, which comes alive and speaks. In a corner or up high on a pinnacle etc. etc. A tabernacle is the dwelling place of God, Satan/False Prophet plants an idol in the Temple, and this idol brings forth the Spirit of Satan into the Temple (it comes alive, and speaks) just like the Ark of the Covenant brought forth the Spirit of God into the tabernacle, not God himself in full, but the Spirit of God was there. God's glory in full would destroy any Temple, just like we are now the Temple of God, in the flesh, but we can not have God's fullness living in us, but we cab have the Holy Spirit living in us. Satan is not going to set up in the Jewish Temple. He will be living in splendor somewhere, in a grand palace. JMHO God Bless
  2. It is actually the False Prophet placing an image of the Beast in the Temple. But the last week in the decree of Daniel is the abomination of desolation, it even says it in Daniel 9. And Jesus stated the end times was about the abomination of desolation. Daniel 9:27 He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator." Since Jesus said the abomination of desolation was end times, and this here in Daniel 9:27 is called the abomination of desolation. There is no other abomination of desolation mentioned. GB
  3. Exactly, we need to be ready before all things. But the Holy Spirit is never leading us wrong, so someone, some large group, is being led wrong, my only fear is, if so many Christians can be deceived by Satan, what else can we be deceived about. You get my drift ? That is not saying who is correct or incorrect. Just a statement that a large group of Christians are not hearing the Holy Spirits voice on thi. And that is alarming, whichever side it is. And Satan loves to divide us, because he knows we have power in numbers. God Bless. I think it has to mean Heaven, the same word is used for where Jesus comes from, and we are on earth, or else we are in Heave. Rev. 19 clearly states we are in Heaven. God Bless.
  4. That was the point, I think it is fairly clear that Angels are used by God and Jesus as ministers for everything they do. So when I stated that the Angels taught Paul, I don't expect to have to prove what I believe to a brother. Just the fact that the Revelation was revealed to John by Angels is a testament to my beliefs. You are correct, there is always only one right answer to everything, God never contradicts Himself. This is why I never go into any subject with preconceived ideas. I read the same 10 Tribes with England as the Lion 30 years ago, I read Armstrong's stuff, I read Watchtower stuff., etc. etc. So many people latch on, and refuse to be taught by the Holy Spirit, or change. I never came to a conclusion for 30 years on pre/mid or post trib. I never believe anything, unless the Holy Spirit reveals it to me as truth. I take both/all sides of something when I decide to study a "supposed contradiction" Then I break it down until there are no contradictions left. For instance, I looked at Post/Pre and Mid and studied, and studied some more, read, and reread, the the Holy Spirit showed me, Rev. chapter 19 proves a Rapture before the Anti-Christ was defeated, so then I said I must Must look at post-trib more carefully, because God never contradicts Himself. The I saw quite a few reasons why post-tribbers, I think, are thinking the way they do, and I felt God showed me the contradictions in this belief, FOR ME...Not anyone else. Take 2 Thessalonians 2, I just really do not think people can get the Old English of the KJV at times, things are backwards from the way we read them, or out of order, the emphasis sometimes is misplaced. Allow me to post the Holman's version with a clear explanation, via my understanding. People seem to have trouble reading that text in the Old English KJV, and they seem to invert the meaning. Holman Bible:The Man of Lawlessness1 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him: we ask you, brothers, 2 not to be easily upset in mind or troubled, either by a spirit or by a message or by a letter as if from us, alleging that the Day of the Lord has come. 3 Don't let anyone deceive you in any way. For [that day] will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. ((( So what is Paul actually saying ? Paul is saying, HEY BROTHER Thessalonians, as per the coming of Jesus to Rapture us to Heaven, don't fear [that you have missed it no doubt this is what he meant) that the DAY OF THE LORD (Tribulation or Judgment) is at hand, for before the Day of the Lord comes, FIRST must come apostasy, and then the Anti-Christ. So they were fearing the Day of the Lord/Judgment was upon them, Paul told them Apostasy and the Anti-Christ must come before Judgment. So they had not missed the Rapture or Gathering together unto the Lord.Amen. ))) Paul was referring to the Laws, not the scriptures passing away. All scripture is God Breathed, and worthy to instruct us. The point was, all things are not new, the first covenant was the Promise of the SEED, Jesus Christ, the first covenant was not actually the LAW....It was THE PROMISE of a coming Messiah. The Law came 430 years after the promise. God made the covenant with Abraham, not with Moses per se. I said about 42 months. This is correct, if the Anti-Christ breaks the Peace, then the Red Horse (takes peace from the world) comes at about that time, the First Seal could be the Anti-Christ coming to power (7 Years), but he only breaks the deal at the midway point, hence the Wrath of God is manifested, of course the first 3 1/2 years can be the wrath of God also, he is so angry, He allows the Anti-Christ to come to power. Wrath/Anger does not have to be an immediate action. I think I have explained three are four times why there are Saints on the Earth during the Tribulation. They MISSED THE SHOUT of the Bridegroom. They were not appointed unto wrath, they were appointed to be in Heaven with the Church, but they tarried and pit no oil in their lamps, hence they were shut out. And the Marriage was spoken of by Jesus, hence the Feast is relevant, and was anyway, it is the word of God. AMEN. Like I said, God does everything symmetrically. The Seals are opened by who ? JESUS, they are the Lambs wrath. A fourth of Mankind is slain (almost 2 billion people by then) God is angry at the world, these are his judgments on an evil world. After the AoD, then there is trouble/tribulation, then IMMEDIATELY AFTER the Tribulation these signs appear in the Heavens and We return with Jesus (Rev. 19). Nowhere does it say Gods wrath begins in the middle of His seals, Six Seals happen and then the people of earth cry and say hide us from the Wrath of the Lamb. Well all the Seals are opened by Jesus, why would anyone think all of the Seals are not Gods anger ? God would not allow Israel to take Canaan until their SINS HAD COME FULL (400 yeas). Then His wrath was poured out upon them. God gave Nineveh tome to repent, and they did, Gods wrath is come full, Just like Daniel says, and this is His wrath, at a wicked and wayward world. Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. When our Sins are Come Full, the sins of the World that is, God will come to destroy these wicked men. God Bless brother..... I am not saying anyone is wrong or right, I am just saying if we let all of our ideas go, and trust God, He will never lead us wrong.
  5. So the elect is in Heaven ? Just like Revelation 19 says, and just like we pre-tribbers say there will still be a few elect, Christians, and all Israel on earth, so switching to Mark doesn't change the facts, Jesus still said the elect will be gathered from heaven, so that means a rapture has already happened. Rev. 19 is clear, we marry the Lamb before we come back with Jesus.
  6. I will be back gotta run to get blood tested and maybe catch a movie with the grand kids. We agree or disagree in love brothers, I enjoy the back and forth since I am laid up with a heart attack I can't get out and work, lol, got to do something. God Bless............
  7. Yes sir, look at all the pressure on Israel today, from all over. That is what Zechariah chapter 12 means, she is a stumbling block to all the nations a burdensome stone a trembling cup, all these nations are going to try and force a Palestinian/Jerusalem deal. This Anti-Christ will force this deal on Israel, he will act towards Israel kind of like Obama has, but worse. Remember, this guy will be very powerful, and trade with Europe/world is a must for Israel. I think America cause an worldwide economic collapse, and this man steps in knowing dark sentences (able to solve riddles and conundrums) and pulls the world out of chaos, all except the USA which must diminish, sadly. To prevail or act insolently is also the root words as well as to be strong. Seems to indicate he will force a deal upon Israel through shrewd tactics. I think the cast down Satan, possesses the Anti-Christ with 42 months left. Rev. 13. He was given 42 months to overcome the Saints.
  8. OK, but Jesus stated clearly, the Abomination of Desolation is at the End Times. It is right there in Matthew 24. It can't be more clear. God Bless Hello sister, greeting in Christ. I have to go get mt blood level checked, cumaden or something is my medicine...YIKES. That is my point, you believe that the Abomination of desolation is at the End Times so to speak, but Daniel 9:27 is the abomination of Desolation Jesus spoke of about the End Times, he even mentioned Daniel by name, so Daniel 9:27 has to be that which is spoken of by Jesus. It also says in the middle of the week he places an idol in the Temple and causes shock to Israel. Everywhere that we see this mid week, 3 1/2 years, time/times/1/2 time, 42 months 1260 days, it has to do with the Anti-Christ and End Times. I truly believe in these last days God is going to pour out visions, dreams and understandings. I really couldn't understand much of Revelation or Daniel/Prophecy until recently, and now I am just getting deluged with info from God. God Bless.
  9. OK, but Jesus stated clearly, the Abomination of Desolation is at the End Times. It is right there in Matthew 24. It can't be more clear. God Bless
  10. The clue should have been when they said he was named after the British Humorist Benny Hinn, inferring Benny Hill no doubt. The Holy spirit testifies of the Holy Spirit. Let this sink in, the pharisees were told by Jesus they committed the unpardonable sin because they said Jesus healed by the power of Beelzebub. In other words they attributed the working of Christ to evil/the devil. Likewise, if people say that which the Holy Spirit does is fake/evil, then people are in danger of speaking blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Anyone not 100 percent sure, might want to just leave it be. A word to the wise, be very weary about attributing this or that to the Holy Spirit or the devil, unless you are sure.
  11. Because the Hebrew word used for confirm is gabar/1396 and means to Be strong, by implication to Prevail, or to Act Insolently. So this "Confirmed" actually means this Man of Sin/Beast/Anti-Christ forces an agreement on Israel, and he does so in a pompous, insolent manner. The same man that forces the agreement, breaks the agreement. After Satan is cast out of Heaven and possesses the Anti-Christ. We know this is the trigger, for Revelation 13 says he was given power to overcome the Saints for 42 months. God Bless
  12. Hello brother, Jesus will establish a kingdom on this earth for a 1000 years (Revelation 20) then Satan is loosed, the nations deceived, and Satan cast into the Lake of Fire where the Beast and False Prophet await him. Then in Revelation 21, we see that a New Heaven and a New Earth.........Rev. 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Jesus only rules on this Earth for 1000 years, then we will see a new heaven & earth with a New Jerusalem. Amen.
  13. Hello, greeting in Christ Sister, we both understand the period to be seven years, I assume, and thus the first 3 1/2 years are a time of false peace, the last 3 1/2 year a time of great troubles/tribulation. So I will explain why I think this is at the mid-way point via scriptures. I wasn't going to post the full 9:27 but I was going to make another point later anyway, so below, as we see a 7 year deal is made, and in the midst ( Hebrew word chetsiy, 2677, means Half or Middle) he causes the sacrifice to cease. I was studying Daniel 9:27 and the Hebrew root words, and I was astounded at what the verse really means, then when you compare it to Rev 13, it makes you understand the truth about the Anti-Christ and the Temple of God. I will use the Hebrew root words from the Q-Bible site/Strong's. Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm (gabar/1396 meaning to be strong, prevail or Act insolently) the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading (kanaph/3671 meaning an Edge, or corner(quarter) of a building, a wing or an Extremity) of abominations (shiqquwts/8251 meaning disgusting, filthy, idolatrous or AN IDOL ) he shall make it desolate, ( shamem/8074 meaning to Stun, stupefy, make numb or devastate ) even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. So it seems this verse is saying, An insolent type man/world leader, will force a covenant (Contract/agreement) with Israel, then in the Middle of the Week, 3 1/2 years, or the 42 months, 1260 days, etc. all we get in so many places, this man (Anti-Christ/Beast) will break this peace deal, and in a corner or edge of the Temple will place an IDOL and this will Stun, shock or Devastate Israel. Now lets see what Revelation 13 says. Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. So this is why I say the Abomination of desolation happens after 3 1/2 years, and I do not think, through much study, the Anti-Christ or False Prophet actually sits in the Temple of God, I think the False Prophet places an Image of the Beast ( a filthy Idol ) in the Temple of God. ( You are not different from most on this, I have just seen via the scriptures that this verse was badly mistranslated in many ways. Give it a look see via the Hebrew root words. ) As per the killing of the two-witnesses, I think Revelation throws many off, it is no-where near in chronological order, but many seem to think it is. Rev. 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 are all ending at about the same time. Revelation 19 comes right after all these chapters. But the Anti-Christ or Fake Christ is the First Seal Right ? One is called the First Seal for a reason. It must come first. As I stated above, the beginning of Sorrows only BIRTHS that which it to come, the word SORROWS is wrong, it is a word used for Birth Pangs or throes, not a Sorrows of what is being done unto the world, but those were only SIGNS that the Tribulation would birthed very soon. God Bless........God is going to reveal much in these last days.
  14. What part of verse 4 makes you think ALL Saints in verse 4 came through the tribulation ? There is a big AND between I saw the thrones they sat on and Judgment was given them. AND.... I saw the souls of them who were beheaded. The Saints in Heaven, return with Jesus, and, we have put on immortal, incorruptible bodies, those beheaded stay on earth and serve with Jesus a thousand years. Without any mortal people still on earth, how is going to procreate and have children ? Immortals in heaven will not procreate. The Sadducees were trying to trick Jesus with a question about a woman being married to Seven Brothers....Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her (Matthew 12:19-23) What dis Jesus say ? "At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven" (Meaning we have put on immortal bodies(Matthew 12:25). Again, all Saints do not stay on earth. Just the ones that were beheaded during the tribulation, and those who survived. They very well might be given immortal bodies and rule the earth with Jesus, while the survivors procreate, either way, only the ones who missed the Rapture stay on earth to rule with Jesus. Sure thing...........Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen IS THE RIGHTEOUSNES OF THE SAINTS.jjjjj 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; (Jesus)...................................14 And the ARMIES which were IN HEAVEN followed him upon white horses, clothed in FINE LINEN, WHITE and CLEAN. ( The Fine linen verse 8 says is the RIGHTEOUSNESS of the SAINTS. Amen ) Lets look at Matthew 24:30-31 in full........ 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. ( The tribes of earth that sees Jesus coming are those people not raptured, of course. ) 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. ((( Jesus sends his Angels to gather the ELECT FROM WHERE ? The four corners of HEAVEN or from ONE END OF HEAVEN TO THE OTHER. Not from earth, but from where we have been at for Seven Years, Heaven. Amen. God Bless
  15. Oh, so the Marriage to the Lamb happens without the Saints on earth ? Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife (Church) hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.......14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. (SAINTS as spoken of in verse 8) 19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. (us Saints) 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast,.......... The Church is i Heaven here, before Revelation 20 happens. The Church comes back to earthed dressed in fine, white, linen, as Saints, on white horses, with Jesus, and the Beast/Kings and their Armies are still on earth. Now tell me how this happens without a Rapture ? And Paul speaks of the Rapture, when he say those that are alive and remain, will be change in the twinkling of an eye. 1 Corinthians 15: 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (Rapture is here). God Bless
  16. Well you can think as you please, that has no bearing on the facts. I, a brother in Christ, told you my understanding/intention, accept it or don't. I will not quibble on trivial trivialities. The facts are again in Revelation the Angels showed John things that Jesus wanted Revealed. I understand that the Angels are Gods "ministers/workers" and I think Paul was taught the things of God by Angels, you can disagree, that is what makes the world go round. I accept your belief as just that and will not cast aspersions on your beliefs. Once again, I have answered this many times already. The five foolish virgins were "locked out". When Jesus Raptures the Church, people will still get saved, by asking Jesus to be their Lord and Savior, but they will be on earth for the Tribulation. Timing matters. The Wrath is not meant for Gods people, God wanted all to be in Christ when Jesus shouted for them to come up, but they were not ready. That is fairly straightforward. And the Wrath of God is only about 3 1/2 years, not 7, the Anti-Christ is possessed by Satan at the midway point. The Apostles all used the Old Testament. The facts that the Feast show the exact intention/symmetry of God with two brides is a clue, just like Daniel is a clue to the end times. I understand, most people have preconceived ideas though. The First covenant really didn't pass away, for the first covenant was really the promised seed, which was Jesus Christ. The Law which was 430 years later, was not really the Covenant. The Law passed away, only because it was never intended to be the covenant between man, who needs mercy, and God who gives mercy, it was always intended to be the blood of Jesus Christ. Paul later says as much in Galatians 3. (Of course the Jews believed it was the Covenant, hence Paul when speaking to them had to call it the first covenant.) Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. God Bless
  17. If you say so. But you then need to explain how there was MUCH PEOPLE IN HEAVEN in Revelation 19, how we are dressed in white linen in Rev. 19, ride white horses back with Jesus in Rev. 19, and defeat the Beast in Rev. 19. God Bless brother. The Church and Israel are two different brides, just like Rachael and Leah.
  18. Thanks brother, we will differ in love. I have a very long post SORRY, about the Jewish Marriage Comparison to the Rapture on the previous page or the page before that. Give it a look see, because in truth, there is only one thing that makes all of us disagree on timing, and that is the timing of the Rapture. If you knew 100 percent the Rapture was pre-trib, then you would probably call the Seals Gods wrath, see my point ? God bless, and keep me in your prayers. Ole Ticker is just not what it used to be.
  19. Hello Brother. I was not looking for that other scripture in Revelation 20 at the time, because I was trying to point out the scripture that matched 1 Corinthians 15, but I did know of that scripture, and it backs up the pre-trib rapture, believe it are not. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. ( The last part of this verse is speaking about verse 4. not verse 5. ) (( Notice, these that are resurrected in chapter 20, they are praised for dying for the witness of the Lord and not serving the Beast or receiving his Mark. These are resurrected and serve with Christ Jesus a thousand years, ON EARTH, while we the Church have already been to heaven, see Revelation 19, and married the Lamb, and came back with Jesus (Rev. 19). Jesus was the very first of the living that was resurrected, he was the "firstfruits" , then every other man in his order. The Dead in Christ an we who were alive when Jesus called us to the Marriage of the Lamb. THEN............Those who died for Christ name during the Tribulation. These are all the first resurrection, which is the resurrection of the living in Christ Jesus.............................. WHAT I MEAN BY LIVING............................Those made alive by the blood of Jesus Christ. It doesn't mater when you died, it doesn't matter if you died (some were alive/will be alive, when Jesus calls us home) or if you were a martyr during the Tribulation, all of those Resurrected in Jesus Christ name, under his blood, are the First Resurrection. God Bless Brother.
  20. Hello brother, just back from the heart doctor, had a heart attack 2 months ago, doing much better now. We know it is Jesus that opens all of the Seals, but Jesus is God also, as is the Father and Holy Spirit, am I not right here ? I didn't say the Father was angry and opening the Seals, I said God was angry. (probably should have said Jesus to keep confusion down). We know that God protects Israel (Woman) from the Dragon, (Rev. chapter 12) but we also know that the Beast was given power to overcome the Saints for forty-two months. So what gives ? Well clearly there has to be people during the tribulation that refuse to take the Mark of the Beast and give their lives to Jesus Christ, these would be Saints, would they not ? These are the Saints under the alter in the fifth seal. Notice present tense ? They want vengeance on those that LIVE ON EARTH, so they were murdered by people still living on earth. Anyone that misses the marriage call is like unto the five foolish brides who were not ready when the bridegroom came, they tried to get in but the door was closed. Notice Jesus doesn't say in the opening of the fifth seal that anything follows, that is because he is only angry because of their deaths, this is not per se a judgment, just like the seventh seal is not a judgment per se, but rather the prayers of Saints that come before God. Seals in ancient history was a way to seal up a book/scroll or message so that only the intended party would see it/read it. Seals being broken only signifies a message being brought forth, they do not have to signify wrath, or anything in particular, the first four Seals is no doubt the Lambs Wrath. All of the Seals are of Jesus no doubt, for he alone opened them. The fifth Seal is only one small reason God was pouring out His wrath which has been filled up. The seventh seal is the prayer of the Saints. GodS wrath was full when he sent Jesus for the Church. But many people who did not make it to heaven for the marriage to the lamb, become Christians after the rapture. God Bless.
  21. Excellent point! I've often asked pretribbers that . . . to no avail. You can't even characterize the seals as "judgments" which they routinely do, for the same reason. God is angry that the Beast and this Evil world has murdered his Saints. Thus the fifth seal is opened to show their evil deeds. You do realize that the Seventh Seal was the prayers of the Saints right ? Revelation 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. 3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. God Bless brothers, got to run.....Heart doctor again today.
  22. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 (Speaking) Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. ( This of course was Jesus Christ, and his voice is described by John as like unto a Great Trumpet. There is only two resurrections, the resurrection of the living, and the resurrection of the dead. It is irrelevant when the living (those in Christ) is raised up, it is the First Resurrection. The Resurrection of the Dead happens after the 1000 year reign. Jesus was the First fruits as 1 Corinthians 15 says (Wow, this got crazy as I went to read this again, I just realized it goes much deeper. ) 1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. ( So Jesus is the Firstfruits of the First Resurrection, afterwards those that have died and us who are alive in Christ Jesus, THEN comes the end. Jesus reigns a 1000 years, then the very last thing, Death is defeated. (Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (( Paul in Corinthians chapter 15 basically tells us how the end will come, in order. )) The two resurrections are the Resurrection of the Living (in Christ) and the Resurrection of the dead ( those not in Christ). God doesn't see things the way men do.
  23. The Wedding Pattern The Lord gave Israel seven feasts in Leviticus 23. The Lord refers to the feasts as appointed times (mowed – Strong’s H4150). Mowed means an appointed time, a specific time. Our Heavenly Father knows the End from the Beginning, and the seven specific appointed times of the seven feasts give us an outline of His overall plan and I believe that some appointed times have been, and all will be prophetically fulfilled. Within the Word of God is the pattern of the Church as the Bride of Christ (hereafter noted as Church) being wed to Jesus, and it is preserved to this day in the practice of the traditional Jewish wedding (hereafter noted as Jewish Wedding). This is not to say that the Church has replaced Israel in the Lord’s plan; quite the opposite. Please see Romans 11:11-18, and 11:25-26. There are two brides found in Scripture, and Rachel and Leah show us this. Please see Leah, the Bride, and Leah's Children. When I first realized the connection between the feasts and the steps of the wedding, I was troubled by the Fall Feasts. Although "Trumpets" is a favorite feast for those of us listening for the trumpet of the Lord, I could not clearly in my mind make these feasts fit the Church. The Fall Feasts seem to point to the people Israel. Therefore, when I realized there were two different brides which would be dealt with in separate manners, the pieces seemed to fit together. First, the Lord chose a people (Israel) that would be His bride, His wife. Several times in the Old Testament the Lord describes Israel as His wife. It all began when the Lord chose Abraham and promised him that his descendants would be a great and numerous people. But at Mount Sinai the chosen wife became adulterous and worshipped the Golden Calf. Time and again, through the prophets, the Lord called for Israel to return to Him. Finally, the Lord told Israel, Praise His name, the Lord turned to the Gentiles. In the New Testament the Church, composed of Gentiles and Jews, is also described as the Bride of the Lord Jesus, the second bride of Scripture. The Bible shows us these two brides in the same manner and pattern as the Jewish wedding, and the Jewish wedding fits the themes of the seven appointed times given by the Lord. The Lord gave the Children of Israel three Spring Feasts in Leviticus 23:4-14, Passover, Unleavened Bread and Firstfruits. Here is how they were fulfilled: Passover - Jesus paid the price for our sins when He died on the Cross. Jesus was the Lamb of God. (John 1:29) Jesus was the Passover Lamb. Firstfruits - The day we recognize as Resurrection Sunday is the Jewish Feast of Firstfruits. Jesus was the Firstfruits of the grave. (First Corinthians 15:20) Unleavened Bread - According to Scripture, “Passover Week” is the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Leavening is figurative of sin; Jesus was “unleavened,” without sin. Jesus paid the price at the Feast of Unleavened Bread. There is a thread of continuity that flows through the seven feasts, or appointed times, first given by the Lord. Here are the steps taken in completing the Jewish wedding and its application to the wedding of the Church to the Lord Jesus, followed by how this ties to the seven appointed feasts of Israel: The steps of the traditional Jewish wedding: 1 – Selection of the Bride Jewish Wedding - The Son chooses the Bride – the Father makes the arrangements Church - John 15:16 – “You did not choose Me, but I chose you . . .” 2 – The Bride Price established Jewish Wedding - The father of the bride must be reimbursed for the loss of his daughter. Church - I Corinthians 6:20 - “For you were bought with a price.” The Bride price was paid when Jesus died on the Cross. We who are saved by Jesus were sought by the Lord. (Isaiah 65:1) Jesus paid the price on Passover. The appointed times of Firstfruits and Unleavened Bread complete the picture of Jesus being resurrected and being sinless, the spotless Lamb of God. The Spring Feasts have all been fulfilled. Pentecost, or the Feast of Weeks, was the fourth appointed time given by the Lord in Leviticus 23:15-22. Just as the Lord deals with the Church in a separate manner from His chosen, the Jews, I strongly suspect that Pentecost, which is separate from the Spring Feasts and the Fall Feasts, is specific to theChurch. Each year at Pentecost, Jewish synagogues read the entire Book of Ruth. The story of Ruth takes place at the wheat harvest, or Pentecost. This book is a picture of the Lord Jesus and His Gentile bride. Boaz was the kinsman-redeemer. Jesus is our Redeemer. Ruth was a Moabitess, a Gentile. The Church is the Gentile Bride. That very day, the Day of Pentecost, Boaz redeemed Ruth. The marriage is not mentioned, only the commitment, the betrothal, is recorded. The marriage of Boaz and Ruth is noted in conclusion, but not discussed. Boaz gave Ruth six measures of barley. A measure of barley was a day’s wages. (Revelation 6:6). I think this is a picture of mankind being paid for six millennial days’ work. The Bride, or the Church, will not have to work after six millennial days or six thousand years. According to Biblical chronology, it has been about six thousand years. The six measures of barley were also part of the traditional Jewish wedding Bride price. Boaz said, “Do not go to your mother-in-law empty-handed.” At the Feast of Pentecost the Bride of Christ was given the Gift of the Holy Spirit and through this Jesus committed to complete the betrothal of the Church when He comes again. The steps of the traditional Jewish wedding: 3 – The Betrothal Jewish Wedding - More than mere “engagement”, it was a permanent arrangement. Recall the story of Joseph and Mary. Church – The attachment of the Church to the Lord is also permanent, and forever. “This is the bread which came down from heaven--not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.” (John 6:58) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. (John 10:28) 4 – The Marriage Contract Jewish Wedding – A written agreement committing each party to the marriage. Church - The entire Holy Bible is our written agreement containing the promises of God. Jesus said, “If ye continue in my word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed;” (John 8:31) 5 – The Bride must consent Jewish Wedding – This is not entirely an arranged marriage; the bride must agree. Church – “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;” (Mark 16:16) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9) 6 – The Bridal Gift and the Cup of the Covenant Jewish Wedding – A glass of wine is taken upon the signing of the contract. Church – Each time we gather around the Lord’s Table, we remember the “contract.” “And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave [it] to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament (covenant), which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Matthew 26:27-28) Jewish Wedding – The Bride is given a gift by the groom. Church - The Holy Spirit is given by Jesus –– “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38) This, of course, occurred on the Day of Pentecost. 7 – The Ceremonial Purification of the Bride Jewish Wedding - The next step for the Bride after she is betrothed is a ceremonial cleansing. In Biblical times the Bride would use a Mikvah, which was pool of water, in which she would immerse herself. Church - Acts 2:41 – “Then those who gladly received his word were baptized (immersed); and that day about three thousand souls were added [to them].” The Church is an insertion in the Lord's Plan. Israel was the original bride. I believe that the Lord Jesus will come for His bride, the Church, in a separate event (the Rapture) from the Lord's return for His bride, Israel. From this point forward in the Jewish Wedding process, following the purification of the bride, in my opinion the Church will be dealt with separately in the time defined as the Church Age, or the Age of Grace. This period of time will extend from the first Day of Pentecost to the day when the Lord Jesus calls us Home. 8 – The Groom would prepare a room for the Bride in his father’s house Church - John 14:3 – “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself.” The father of the groom determines when the room is ready. The groom does not determine the time of the wedding. “But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” (Matthew 24:36) 9 – The Bride is consecrated and set apart Church - First Peter 2:9 – “But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people.” 10 – The Groom returns with a shout, “Behold, the bridegroom comes!” Church - First Thessalonians 4:16 – “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.” Let me insert an additional hope at this point. When the Lord Jesus comes for His Bride, the Church, we will not be totally surprised. Although the Jewish bride did not know the day or the hour, she was expectant. The Apostle Paul in speaking of “that Day” said, “But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day.” (First Thessalonians 5:4-5) Today, many in the Church are expectant and will not be totally surprised. 11 – The Bride and Groom go to the wedding chamber. Church – This period when the Bride and Groom spend time together seems to show that the Bride of Jesus will be with Him in Heaven. This appears to indicate a pre-Tribulation gathering of the Church, and is described in Isaiah 26:20; “Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.” Praise the Lord! 12 – The Marriage Supper Church – “‘Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.’ And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, ‘Write: Blessed [are] those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” (The Revelation 19:7-9) In my opinion, the Feast of Pentecost is still being fulfilled and will be completed when the Lord Jesus comes for His bride. I believe that in the remaining steps of the Jewish Wedding process, the steps will be fulfilled for Israel in a separate manner. The next appointed time is the Feast of Trumpets. The Feast of Trumpets is a mysterious time. Of all the feasts, or appointed times, little is said of it and no scriptural reason for the feast is given. (see Leviticus 23:23-25) A trumpet (the Shofar) is blown. Trumpets make announcements. I suspect that the Feast of Trumpets will be when the Lord in some manner announces the time has come for the fulfillment of His plan for Israel. The steps of the traditional Jewish wedding: 8 – The Groom would prepare a room for the Bride in his father’s house Jewish Wedding – In Biblical times the groom would add a room to his father’s house. At that time, families lived together. The father of the groom determines when the room is ready. The groom does not determine the time of the wedding. 9 – The Bride is consecrated and set apart Jewish Wedding – The Bride is spoken for and belongs to no one else. Again, refer to Mary and Joseph. (Matthew 1:18-19) At this point in the process, the Bride is always in readiness. She does not know when the Groom will return for her. For example, see Matthew 25 – The Parable of the Ten Virgins. 10 – The Groom returns with a shout, “Behold, the bridegroom comes!” Jewish Wedding – This was frequently done at midnight for surprise. Matthew 25:6 (the Parable of the Ten Virgins) – “And at midnight a cry (shout) was [heard]: ‘Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him!’” Scripture tells us that a prophetic day can equal a year. The seven days the Jewish bride and groom spend in the wedding chamber appear to equate to seven prophetic years, which parallels the last seven years of Daniel’s prophecy, and is the basis for the concept of seven years of Tribulation. The Song of Moses, Deuteronomy 32:1-43, is a summary of the Lord’s dealings with Israel. From the summary given by Moses, and many other Scriptures, it appears that the Day of Atonement will be the Day when the Lord Jesus sets foot on the Mount of Olives and fights against all nations. Daniel’s last seven days (Daniel 9:27) appear to parallel the seven years of the Tribulation, while the Bride of Christ is in Heaven consummating union to Jesus Messiah and celebrating with the marriage supper. The next appointed time is the Day of Atonement. This indicates that at the end of the Tribulation, the Lord Jesus will return to redeem and make Atonement for Israel. The latter part of the Song of Moses is prophetic of the Last Days. The very last verse of the Song of Moses says: The Hebrew word translated as “merciful” is kaphar (Strong’s H3722), and is rendered “make atonement” in the vast majority of its appearances in the Old Testament. Therefore, this verse says “He will provide atonement, for His land and His people.” In the Revelation, immediately following the Marriage supper of the Lamb is the Return of Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords. Note that the “armies [which were] in heaven” were clothed in fine linen, white and clean, just like the Bride was given in the preceding verse 19:8. This identifies the “armies” as the Bride of Christ, Saints and Children of God, who will return in victory with the Lord Jesus. It appears that this day will be the fulfillment of the Day of Atonement. The next, and last, appointed time is the Feast of Tabernacles which was an eight-day event. It occurred at the time of the fall harvest, and was to be a time of joy and celebration. The word tabernacle can be a noun or a verb. The Tabernacle in the wilderness was a noun, but it was also a verb describing where the Lord dwelled, or tabernacled, with Israel. In the Kingdom Age the Lord Jesus will dwell, or tabernacle, with mankind. In the Deuteronomy instructions the Children of Israel are told to celebrate for seven days. In the instructions given in Leviticus 23:33-43 they are told to hold a sacred assembly on the eighth day. In the Bible, seven is the number of completion. Therefore, eight is the number of new beginnings. Noah and his family were eight persons, and represented a new beginning for mankind. A male child was to be circumcized on the eighth day, at the beginning of his life. King David, who laid the foundations for the beginning of the Kingdom of Israel, was the eighth son of Jesse. This eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles indicates new beginnings. The steps of the traditional Jewish wedding: 11 – The Bride and Groom go to the wedding chamber. Jewish Wedding - The marriage was consummated in the wedding chamber. The Bride and Groom stayed in that wedding chamber for seven days. 12 – The Marriage Supper Jewish Wedding – A wedding feast was given for the Bride and Groom. After the traditional Jewish Wedding the Bride and Groom lived together. This fits the picture of the Lord living, or tabernacling, with His people in the Kingdom Age and forever! The Children of Israel were also instructed to live in booths or tents during this feast. This was to be a memorial of the time when the Lord delivered Israel from Egypt. The Feast of Tabernacles is aboutDeliverance and will be fulfilled when the Lord delivers Israel from her enemies. Then there will be a New Beginning for the Kingdom of God and His two brides. The prophetic parallels between the Jewish Wedding and the Church’s Biblical Wedding are simply amazing! What a wonderful picture and wonderful hope this pattern gives to those who are saved and are the Children of God. And only the God of Creation could place this pattern within and throughout the sixty-six books of His Word. Our Heavenly Father is the ultimate Wedding Planner! May His name be praised forever! God Bless............I do not consider it nonsense, you views are respected by me, I have just been led in another direction.
  24. Scriptures brother in Christ, John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her (Mary), Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. 20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe 26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. ((( So Jesus tells Mary not to touch him, for he has not yet ascended to the Father, then Jesus comes back 8 Days later and tells Doubting Thomas to put his fingers in his wounds. This tells us Jesus ascended to the Father, and came back. My point is, Jesus never said it would be a "Second Coming", man has ascribed it as a Second Coming. I am pre-trib, sounds like you might be to, not sure, just making a point. Hello Brother......He will shout, but only those with the Holy Spirit will hear him. After Matthew 24 Jesus in Matthew 25 gave us the clue to the Rapture/Marriage Feast. It is the parable of the Ten Virgins, and it is deep. Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Very few see this for what it is, the Rapture. The Lamp stands for our bodies, the Oil stands for the Holy Spirit. The foolish were not filled with the Holy Spirit (Oil) and thus could not go and find the Bridegroom, because they couldn't see him or the were in the dark so to speak. The wise virgins could see him, they had the Holy Spirit, which heard his biding or call. And the entire world will not hear his call, that is the whole point of the parable above, only those with the Holy Spirit hears his voice/calling/shout. All will see him at his "Second Coming" (a misnomer), but the Rapture is not the Coming to Defeat the Evil World/Beast/Satan. As per us disappearing, this will not happen, we will die, we can not go to heaven with corruptible bodies, the dead in Christ will get new bodies, and we, in the twinkling of an eye, will be changed from corruptible to uncorruptible. 1 Corinthians 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. We will leave out corruptible bodies, so all that are Raptured will die earthly deaths. No doubt the Beast and this wicked world will find a reason that so many people died. The trumpet was the signal for the field workers to come into the Temple. The high priest actually stood on the southwestern parapet of the Temple and blew the trumpet so it could be heard in the surrounding fields. The Old Testament saints who faithfully followed the Lord would immediately stop the harvest even if it was not finished and leave for the Temple to worship God. Picture this: A Jew and an Arab are in the field side by side working and they hear the trumpet blown. The Jew would drop what he was doing and immediately leave the field. Can we not see the parallel in God’s plan for the future? Clearly the rapture of believers at the end on the Church Age is in view. I will show you a separate, parallel meaning to the Marriage Feast that will or should make everyone see what Jesus was trying to say, it is rather long, but it is a great parallel.
