I agree with you Anonymous, but was trying to point out the absurdity of a loving God punishing people for all eternity, which most of Christendom believe. We are judged on the knowledge & light we have. God bless

Hello Brother Warrior12, I'm sorry I wasn't clear, What I'm trying to say is what does the bible say on the subject, does God have a remnant church & if so I was pointing out the characteristics that appear in Revelation, which narrows the search down considerably. I was trying to lead people to look with out giving my personal opinion, I guess I was unsuccessful (: I can't see a progress in finding biblical truth if every one has different ideas on the same subjects, everyone can't be right. At some stage there has to be a coming together to discard error. Only in the format of a denomination can see that being achieved, not all random ideas on the same subject. A denomination would have to be prepared to change or drop some of its previously held ideas, not for any reason but to go forward in truth & not to please the majority or their standing in an organization. We had to come out of the dark ages with the hijacking of Christendom by the catholic church with each reformer bringing us a little more light. With chance to promote forward on a foundation at least. It seems its getting to a stage of everyone for them selves with no foundation, except for the kindergarten ABC of Christianity & that is we are saved by grace & not by works, thats not to say each person doesn't have a good understanding on some (aspects) on subjects. I don't think it wise to be a solitary Christian without support & guidance, but their are many fools out there & I've seen it fail to many times, I've yet to seen it being of benefit to anyone. A lot more can be said but I think you'll get my understanding on the subject. God Bless

What happens to a person who has never been introduced to God in any shape or form, they have lived an honorable life much better than you or I, who stole a piece of food to feed their starving child. Are they doomed for eternal torment for all eternity, by a so called loving God? This concept is insane, those that die don't really die. But suffer for all eternity by a loving God, the same God that says mercy is better than sacrifice. How contradictory if that be the case.

Willa Christ is the fulfilment, the end, the culmination of the law, in the sense that the Law is powerless to save. The only new law that Jesus gave was "Love as I have loved you". & yes Love is the fulfillment of the law but it doesn't negate it. On it hang the law & the prophets. It is encompassed in love they rest in love Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? certainly not, on the contrary we establish the law Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? shall we continue to sin that grace may abound? Certainly not. Mathew 5:18 For truly I tell you, until heaven & earth disappear , not not dot nor the least stroke of a pen will by any means disappear from the law till all is achieved. In Mathew 5:18 Jesus is talking to the people of His day, & of the laws they have in place.

Hello brother Warrior 12 I thought I answered the first question by saying that each person on this site has a different perspective to each others beliefs though they will overlap. I hope on the major aspects of Christianity that being our Lord & savior died for our sins was crucified & buried rose again on the third day we are saved by grace through faith, not by our own works or anything we do. I brought up the remnant because I thought one brother said he didn't believe in denominations, so I pointed out that God seems to have always had a remnant. It is mentioned many times. Here are just a few Isaiah 10:22 Talks about- Only the remnant within them, Here we have Israel but only a remnant (within) Israel are Gods true people those that follow His precepts & commandments. Zephaniah 2:7-10 and the coast will be for the remnant of Judah. Once again it is not for all Jews but a remnant. Isaiah 46:3-4 Listen to me O house of Jacob & all the remnant of Israel. Isaiah 11:11 Jeremiah 44:14 Romans 11:5 even so at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, & went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God & have the testimony of Jesus Christ, so they have 2 aspects. So clearly to me the remnant have to have the testimony of Jesus, That leaves out modern day Israel that don't follow Christ, which most modern Christians are looking towards for fulfillment of scripture. The bible is Christ centered not Israel centered. Romans 9:6 not all that are Israel are Israel Rom 2:29 a person is a Jew, who is one inwardly; & circumcision is circumcision of the heart, If the branch doesn't bear fruit it is cut off & others are grafted in, we are now Jews, or we have no part in the new covenant God has only ever made His covenants with the Jew. Jeremiah 31:31 I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel & the house of Judah. The other part of the remnant is It has to be a commandment keeping church, And that is all 10 not 9 for all those who say they believe the 10 commandments are still Gods moral law but not the 4th commandment so its really the 9 commandments & they can go any day I like. O really . Therefore what is clear to me is not clear to others & the opposite will be said. God bless

What ever one believes from the bible is now their doctrine beliefs, if you don't believe in a denominational doctrine, you have just created your own personalized club. Each person will say the holy spirt has guided them yet they are opposed to each other, both can't be right but both can be wrong. What I see as clear as day doctrine most are opposed. God talks of a remnant, Is there no remnant church denomination, that keep the commandments of God & have the testimony of Jesus. Seek & yet shall find.

DO YOU BELIEVE ITS OKAY TO EAT PORK, AS A BELIEVER IN GOD ?
Riccardo replied to SINNERSAVED's topic in Theology
Very well said Bob, placing it in the correct context. Most of what you have said has been said earlier but possibly not as well. I have put forward an Idea to the site, to have a for & against section on some doctrinal issues, as people just jumping on the topic for the first time just go over old sections previously answered. Where as if they could read what has been put forward & they had something new, they could add to it. I think it could clarify some errors much easier & quicker, with the learning & understanding curve much better. For example in a few months or so, someone will throw up the same scripture out of context again, but won't have the answer to its context as you have just clarified. God bless -

You can eat anything, if you don't care what God says & take things out of context to suit your own flesh. -
Are we, the gentiles, apart of the new covenant or not? God only ever made his covenant with Jew I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel & the house of Judah. Jer 31:31.

It seems as though most people think God gave us a huge burden regarding the Sabbath.

Thank you brother BobRyan, I (have) prayed God gives you wisdom. You do a wonderful job from the bible, I just don't have the patience. God Bless

After three pages, no one has given me an answer to, ( Show me from the bible that we should worship on the first day being Sunday) Actually in all 23 pages so far it has yet to be shown. Is this question not clear ? Once again people have only try to substantiate their stance by trying to attack the sabbath & all the wile taking all there supporting verses out of context. If you worship on Sunday I care not, I'm not disputing you sincerity or love of our Lord. I'm simply asking do you know why you worship on Sunday. & Show me (from the bible) the scripture that says we should. Don't give me texts from acts, it just shows you have no idea what you are talking about & will make you look silly when explained away so simply.
-
This post has been going a longtime & still. No one yet has shown me from scripture, why we should worship on Sunday. Only super lame out of context scriptures for supporting 1st day worship. Their whole support has been based on (attacking) Sabbath keeping, with once again, using out of context scriptures. So show me from scripture, basing it on the bible alone.

Why didn't the disciples say to the gentiles, come to out 1st day service tomorrow? Instead they told them to come back next sabbath?

DO YOU BELIEVE ITS OKAY TO EAT PORK, AS A BELIEVER IN GOD ?
Riccardo replied to SINNERSAVED's topic in Theology
Brother Yowm, If you get yourself a good concordance you can see for yourself that the word unclean in Rom 14: 14 is translated incorrectly & should be common, which completely changes the meaning. Your last comments seemed somewhat patronizing, to another brother, especially in the light of you being completely off target with your references. -
DO YOU BELIEVE ITS OKAY TO EAT PORK, AS A BELIEVER IN GOD ?
Riccardo replied to SINNERSAVED's topic in Theology
God mentioned unclean animals long before any Jewish nation. His people were to be an example for other nations to see & blessings of good health were involved if they listened to God. Modern science confirms the problems that can ocure with eating such foods. Just because we can eat it & not get sick, similarly a smokers can live to 100yrs old, that doesn't mean its not bad for ones health. -
Beautifully put brother, but I can't see how you can love your God with all your heart & also rebel agains his commands at the same time. You seem to make a distinction between the God of the old testament & the new, when He says He is the same today tomorrow & always. Salvation has always the same by grace, & the quotes of love your God & your neighbor as your self are old testament. "On these Hang the law & prophets" the basis of Christian behavior is love & exudes the 10 commandments If you love God with all your heart you will follow the first 4 commandments & up hold the next 6 out of love for Him, the last 6 are directly related to our relationship with others. God bless brother

Brother Friendnt. Do you not believe in the ten commandments? or are you in rebellion to them or to just one of them, I'm sorry but you don't get to pick & chose. Your statement, "It is not only on Sabbath"we should worship is a huge assumption. Show me anywhere where anyone here has said they only worship on the Sabbath& not any other day, or are you saying is't only those that don't worship on the sabbath, those being Sunday worshipers that worship every day, its a very weak argument that I have heard over & over to put down sabbath keepers for lovingly trying to keep the Sabbath, just as they will try to keep all of Gods commandments, all ten, not nine & say they follow the 10 commandments. How is that logical? You mention to worship in spirit & truth, well brother the Spirit of truth always leads the children of God into obedience. So how do we surmise those that rebel against Gods moral laws, is it the Spirit of truth that is leading them, NO! it is their spirit proclaiming it is God's spirit. Gods moral law will stand forever, if not it could be said Satins accusations that Gods laws were unfair have substance & we know that not to be the case, If the law could be changed Jesus didn't have to die.

BROTHER ,Your closest Friendnt, The bible is not a cultural thing, if God says abstain from unclean animals & you have knowledge of it & do not, you are in rebellion against God. -
Why is speaking in tounges controversal?
Riccardo replied to Heavenunlimited's topic in General Discussion
Hello Brother Giller, I also believe in the gift of tongues, & can only talk from my experiences of asking those around me & of their experiences & that covers 2,000 kms of the Australian coast at different congregations. I am well aware that speaking in tongues is & was a gift & what the gift was for & not for. 1Cor 14 makes it quite clear the problems they had in Corinth & their abuse of it. It is a language & should have a translator & to have it translated you first must ask if some one can speak that particular language so to translate it for the congregation. The body of Christ is not all eyes or all ears but yet seem to be all tongues in some churches. I have yet to see it used in any congregation in the correct manner. I only see people with false pretenses of a gift babbling, not edifying the church, & not knowing what they are babbling on about. How can one say its from God, how would they know? Don't tell me you just know that doesn't qualify. I am happy for you or anyone to have the real deal, because it edifies the body & that's its purpose to spread the gospel. God bless, I do wish the best for you & I believe in your sincerity, which is all any of us can live by, our conscience. -
Why is speaking in tounges controversal?
Riccardo replied to Heavenunlimited's topic in General Discussion
As a new christian I went to a pentecostal church for about a year, & all told me that they just repeat a few words over & over & said it felt good, similarly to meditating with a mantra, which feels good, from my own personal experiences. Basing something as good because of emotional feelings is very unwise, & is a way for satin to get his foot in the door, fortunately the bible forbids chanting. Repeating a few words over & over is chanting. I have heard at a gathering of tong speaking, a new visitor to the church mentioned that what a person was saying was from their language & was satanic. Why would someone say something that they have no idea was being said, except for self gratification in one form or another. -
There are only 4 times that the bible that mention watchers Jer 4:16. Dan 4:13, 4:17, 4:23. In Jeremiah 4:16 it is exactly as it sounds, (watchers that come from a far country) these are people observing, spies. In Daniel 4:13 & 17 it says, ( & there was a watcher, a holy one.) Now if this was a fallen angel, it certainly wouldn't be called a holy one.

You will not get an argument from me on abstaining from unclean animals, I agree 100% on all you have said & have brought up all those points in previous discussions. Peter's Vision is the absolute cliff hanger, after all those years after Christ's death. Date written A.D. 63-70. he still hadn't eaten anything common or unclean. Was he in denial or did Jesus forget to tell him? The answer was clear further on, Acts 10:28 he says God has shown me not to call any man common or unclean. -
Greetings brother BobRyan, Thats an interesting that Noah was a Nephilim I don't disagree or agree. I can see that if there were giants after the flood, the genetics would have to have come from Noah, but at the same time where did average size peoples genetics come from. To my knowledge all the original human inhabitants were much larger. Thank you for your answers, they are more bible based, have more logic & common sense than most. God Bless.

Yes I know what nephilim means, I repeat, show me from scripture where it says the nephilim are disembodied demonds. I really don't want your opinion.
