Trust me, we know all about sin., yet its knowing how to stop that is what you are missing. This is why you say, you "try not to do it".. That's not stopping... and that is not how you stop.

If you are living in the Old Testament times, before the Cross, or you are an unbeliever, never been saved, then worry about the Commandments and worry about Hell. If you are Born again, you are freed from the curse of the Law, .. you are under the dominion of God's Grace.....SO you dont have to worry about any of that.. and you should not even think about it. Instead , learn to see yourself as God has made you to be. A SAINT, a Born Again Christian, who is Eternally secure, based not on your SELF< but based Only on the Blood of Jesus, that redeemed you and will keep you saved. The more you come to understand the Grace of God, the less you will have desire to ever do anything that would not make God happy. Thats the other miracle of God's Grace.

In the context of being "born again" Faith is a one time event., just like being Born again is a one time event. The NT says that "without faith it is impossible to please God", so, there is the faith that God accepted ONCE to give you the New Birth, ONCE...... but then there is the lifelong faith walk you are to maintain where you exist in a state of expectation, knowing that God is your supply, ect. There is the prayer of faith.....Faith is how we serve God....WE live in Faith.... as we are to "walk by Faith and not by sight".... Faith is what activated God to send the Living Christ into our BODY, and by Grace THROUGH THIS Faith, God put us into His eternal Family. But, this is not the mental complex type of "holding unto my faith so that my faith keeps me saved" stuff that some are teaching as "how to stay saved"......as that is Legalism, via twisting faith into A WORK.. That is trying to keep yourself saved by Faith, instead of Trusting in Christ to keep you saved by His BLOOD. See it? A person hears the Gospel.."faith comes by HEARING", and this person becomes "all that believe in Me i give unto them Eternal life, and they shall never perish"... Born Again. So, God's requirement that you believe has been met .... "the work of God is that you BELIEVE ON Jesus whom God sent", .... If that happened, God gives you "the Gift of Righteousness" and now a person is born again INTO God, into union with Christ and God as "One" and that resolves your eternity. You're SaveD. Exactly. You will never face God as your Judge in eternity, if you're born again, because Jesus has already faced Him as your judge, on the CROSS, on Earth. Next, you grow in Grace, you strive to present your body, yourself, as a living sacrifice, which is your discipleship, and day by day you study the word, you discipline yourself to pray and praise, and you Shine as God's Child of Light, always remembering that God saved you because He first loved you, but also because He wants us to bring as many as we can to "the saving knowledge of the Lord".

I would estimate that dhchristian has told me that my issue is that im "complacent", at least 10 times in 40 posts. Do i seem complacent to you? Does Alive? Let me tell you how you snuff out the fire in any believer, young, old, or otherwise. What you do is teach them that they can be lost, no longer saved, no longer born again, if they don't live a lifestyle that WORKS for the LORD = to try to keep themselves saved. Growth in personal grace that is defined by producing a holy lifestyle. What i don't teach is the devil's Grace denying lie, which is to teach that you can lose your salvation. First i dont think you are speaking directly to me, when you are referring to as what i'll describe as "hostile tone" that can often occur here on Worthy. But, on the other hand, if God is inside Real Believers as the Holy Spirit/// and this Holy Spirit is attacked and agitated by zealous hyper religious people who would seek to reject the Grace of God by speaking against it thru their Cross denying " gospel of works."..., then i can promise you that the one thing that offends Christ is this very situation. He is OFFENDED. The Holy Spirit is OFFENDED. So, there is no way on Earth or in the universe that you can mix Grace rejecting theology with Gospel Truth on any "Christian" forum and have Peace on that forum.. Can't really understand the spiritual logic or natural logic of someone saying...>"well, yeah, people here ARE lying against the Grace of God, so, the rest of you believers respect them, and listen carefully. God does not require that. God's loves is not to be abused by trying to force it to love... under threat of being banned.... what harms believers and what rejects Grace. That's reality. Listen...protecting God's children is to prevent them from being confused and worse by the teaching of heresy. So, you dont protect them by allowing it. You protect them by stopping it.

Do you believe there is such a thing as "Divinely created human nature"? That there is an innate complexity within the 2 genders whereby they are uniquely different, mentally, psychologically,... and that this plays out naturally in LIFE? The fruit of my doctrine is the same fruit that Paul's offers. I teach a very simple doctrine. "The simplicity that is IN Christ" "Justification by faith". "the Gift of Salvation", "The Gift of Righteousness" And this IS Pauline Theology at its core and max. Its what Paul teaches in Ephesians, Colossians, Galatians, 1-2 Corinthians, and Titus and Timothy. Its is the simple yet profound Truth that God as Christ on the Cross has come to this world to offer His Righteousness to all "who will believe on and in Jesus". Imagine that He never came here, never died....So, now, for all you life till you die...keeps all the commandments, endure to the end, confess all your sins, then you die and go straight to hell. THUS, we see that what you do, can't make you RIGHTEOUS......So, works are not involved with the act of being REDEEMED. The way to see it is like this... What can't cause you to be saved by doing it, can't keep you from being saved by not doing it. The way to see it is like this... The Cross is offensive to an unbeliever because it demands that you admit you are a sinner, and Trust Christ. That stings their pride. Its also the idea of blood being shed , a "bloody savior" as the way to come to God.. that deflects the logical mind. The Logical mind says...>"what is that....blood, death, cross"......how can that be right. So, God created salvation to be LOVE.....sacrificial love, that is the greatest love of all, YET< its literally defined by someone hanging while nailed to a Cross..... so the unbeliever sees the Bloody Cross as "not logical". What is logical about preaching about a bloody savior hanging on a cross? EVERYTHING once you see it, once the Holy Spirit reveals this truth as LOVE. But not until. Christianity omits your logic with...."virgin birth"..."God coming to earth"...>"God as Jesus hanging on a Cross".....and requires your FAITH. You have to BELIEVE in the evidence of things NOT SEEN. The logical mind can't do it. But FAITH Does.

"The GIFT of Salvation".... you dont earn it, @DustyRoad and you can't keep it, as you didn't die on a Bloody CROSS to offer it as a GIFT. Listen, Can you save yourself before Jesus saved you? Then how can you keep yourself saved, later? Think ! The discipleship that follows being born again, is not to keep yourself saved, as its only the Blood of Jesus which can do that FOR YOU... and that is why the Blood Atonement is all that God OFFERED to YOU so that you can be accepted by GOD. If you are trying to work, and "Live it", and "walk the walk", and be HOLY, to try to keep being saved, then you have stopped Trusting IN CHRIST, and have now all your faith in your SELF. I'll tell you a truth. Because the bible is not just words, but its "the dividing asunder of soul and spirit", ... if you just jump in there and get lost in some Epistles, you can become mentally ill. The bible is not to be played with.. It is in fact a HOLY BOOK, divinely inspired and is a MENTAL BEAR TRAP if you find the traps. Matthew, 24 & 25.....James...and Hebrews....can twist your head off.... You really have to have a teacher of GRACE to get you grounded in how to see yourself as God sees you...or those books will have you believing that you can be lost, or worse, that you ARE......... Many people who are afflicted and twisted by about 10 verses in Hebrews, come to Forums and try to pass on their affliction to real born again people. This is a spiritual DARKNESS pandemic on Forums and in Pulpits, also.

Peter was a typical fisherman. He was not a Torah Scholar or a man of letters. So, this basic simple man, only knew the teaching of "repent and be baptised" that John the Baptist was teaching ISRAEL. It took Peter a long time to come to the fullness of the understanding of the Doctrine of "justification by faith" as Paul taught as "my Gospel". One could make a solid case that James was still trying to figure this out also.... Martin Luther was so aggravated by the epistle of James, because if you are not careful with it, you can almost believe he is teaching "works to stay saved".....but he's not.... Yet ML could see that many would be twisted by "faith without works" means..."save yourself by your faith, by doing work"....and he actually wanted the epistle taken out of the bible. Because Matthew 24-25 and James and Hebrews Ch 4,6, and 10 are so often not spiritually discerned by people who just read the bible likes its a novel, they become heretics more often, just from a misunderstood verses in Hebrews.... from anything else in the whole bible.

True. And when the context is "how to understand salvation" then to "sin willfully" means to try to replace GRACE with SELF. Self Effort. Its the denial of "saved by Grace", by replacing it with "commandment keeping, keeping the torah, lifestyle, enduring to the end, obedience", .....anything that is taught that tries to deny that Grace is a GIFT, that can't be EARNED, is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Exactly. When we all come to believe and teach that the same Blood of Jesus...The Same Christ on the Cross, who God accepted to SAVE US, and give us His Righteousness, saved us and keeps us saved. When we "all" come to this unity of the understand of "justification by faith" that Paul teaches, "the GIFT of Righteousness" then until......... . Exactly.

Salvation is shown to be perfectly understood when a born again person gives all the Credit DUE CHRIST and CHRIST ALONE for Shedding His Blood so that by this Blood Atonement we are SAVED AND KEPT SAVED. THE Same Jesus who saved us, who Himself IS our eternal LIFE, is why we are KEPT SAVED. Jesus is the SAVIOR from beginning to the end of your Salvation. Philippians 1:6. "For God who HIMSELF began your salvation in you (born again). WILL HIMSELF, BE.....FAITHFUL = TO COMPLETE IT". NOT YOU OR YOUR WORKS ...

No. Its the fact of being born again, that is why you continue to be saved. Listen, you give God your faith, ONCE, and He takes it, "faith is counted ..>>DONE......as RIGHTEOUSNESS"........ You are teaching that Faith is the Savor. Its not. Faith does not save you... But rather GOD SAVES YOU THROUGH YOUR FAITH, AND THE PROOF THAT HE DID, IS THAT YOU ARE BORN AGAIN. THAT PROVES THAT GOD TOOK YOUR FAITH, COUNTED IT AS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND GAVE YOU THE "NEW BIRTH".
