Americans are moving to countries where the exchange rate of the US dollar is an advantage, plus in countries like Indonesia, they can find partners to live with. The US dollar is recognized and wanted in any third world countries and it is easier for US citizens to relocate their. Crime however is a huge problem in most countries now. Even in the small caribbean countries, gangs and lawlessness are big problems for those governments and the murder rates are outrageous. I have watched a couple of videos by some Americans , where they say the cost of living is way too high. In Canada, since covid it has not gone down and is increasing. Housing here is very expensive.

I was going to repeat how I came to salvation, but it would be a bit lengthy, as I did gave my testimony here on worthy before. What I would say though, is sometimes a person may encounter situation that may seem like a mountain and no way out. They may then reflect on that discussion or witness that you had with them and start the search and journey. The Lord works in ways that we may not understand why and how and when, but his ways are not ours. He may call and choose a person to do his work in a particular way and place him in situations to stand for his glory. We have seen that so many times in scripture. So, the importance of being a witness to others is vital, not that the Lord cannot choose a person without using us, but it is the duty of the believer as to the most vital work of the great commission in his sphere of life. Believers must stand and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ and leave the rest in the Lord hands as to what men may do or say. He is risen, praise the Lord Jesus Christ, all majesty and hornor and Glory belongs to him alone.

So, you have sibilings and family members, even children, that are not saved and reaching out to them in dialogue and testimony. I am thinking everyone must know someone who is not saved and sure you want them to come to salvation, but they are stubbon in their ways or have ideology that they are putting forth to you. What is your method of getting their attention to the truths of the word. To be honest, most of the poeple I interact with are those I play a bit of sports with or family members I know or the odd person I meet here and there. What I see or I should say know though, there are seducing spirits that have taken control of people and have given them a taste of intoxicating pleasures. They don't want to give up those pleasures as they are out of this world. It's like a drug, that you pay no money for, just accept the sensation and fornicate with it. I am not lying, I tell the truth of this. So then how to reach them with the gospel. I have to war in the spirit when those things come to me, as I know this body mind and spirit is the temple of God and we cannot let other entities enter in or then we are serving another master. Oh Lord help us in these times to uphold your word and laws of holiness and righteousness. Well, I don't know if others have an experience in these matters, but I can't put mine under a barrel, but has as scripture says, have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. This is real folks and prayer and persistence in witnessing to those you meet must go on. At one point I felt like it makes no more sense saying this very thing to my family members as they must be tired of hearing it or think I have some issues, but I know what I am saying is true. It seems to me, like the whole world is being condiitoned to drink of that cup of intoxicated spirit, if you want to get ahead or --. I will say this too, I think all that is taking place in the world today, are relative to what I have said. Can't prove it, but rev 17-18 says who is the cause for this and what they were doing. It was not my intention to get this far, but I did. for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery.

As well, I understand they have 81 plus books in their bible. This is what comes up also in my witness to others as an argument, as thosethat I dialogue with, state the Ethiopian Bible is one of the oldest, therefore it should be recognized as authoritative.

I have been to those churches and was baptized in one. I think the slave trade has a lot to do with their way of thinking as they see those as oppressors. At least this is what I have observed in my dialogue with them.

I like your response. I see it like this. I sow the seed as far as I can. How it germinates and grow I may have attachement if it allowed. Ultimately though, it is the person to come to his conviction and surrender his life to Christ.

Do you believe, current world events as to trade wars and finance, have prophecy inclusion ?. I think many people are afraid to respond as to think if they say things of what they actually think what's on their minds that would be accused of false prophecy. But this is not what I am asking. I am asking if you THINK, not if you have been given any revelation or that sort of what your innermost thoughts are about these events. If you have been given revelations, by all means lets hear them too. Or do you think that it is just the normal trend in nations competing for their trade value ect. These are exrodinary times in my view and the book of revelation 18 has mention of world trade and consequences ect. Not saying that is what is taking place, but it kinda resembles it in some ways as to an ongoing situation. I can only speak of the spiritual side of things, as I guess this is the facts for me and I have already made a post of my journey about this and the things I have and is witnessing .

The question. What is the remedy for this ?. In my years of witnessing, I have not had any person that have come and testify of their conversion or conviction. They either ignore what I say or place arguments for other forms of worship or denial of the bible as to its creditability or existence. Some have even said it is a white man religion. So how do you respond ?. Many will have discussions, but they want proof or do not trust the records as how the bible compilation was written ect.

Then you have to lower the dollar. The dollar as the world reserve currency , has a lot of advantages and disadvantages. Most or all third world countries cannot buy US goods in volumes as they cannot pay for it, or they go into debt. They mostly sell to the US to get the US dollar, so they buy what they need from countried they trade with.

Let it be said again, I really don't know when the trumpet will sound. However, we can't ignore the deep things that are in the records and now in the history books. The genome code was fully mapped in 2003, gene splicing can now be done and designer babies can or is being constructed today. These are playing with the very life that man has been given in the image of God. AI, according to the professors is promising futuristic senarios, which envisages man, to be out of work in the next five years, with some already at work. Our world is changing before our very eyes "today". These are profound changes that man today can read or hear about from the experts. Of course, we have a certain amount of interlect, which we can deduce the outcomes as believers. The tower of Babel was being built and it was destroyed, as is written. What I have been through today and which I will not write about, reinforces the stated events that the Lord would destroy the nations with awesome power, as man dealing with the forces of evil disguised as pleasure have left fear of the Lord for a piece of the apple. It is not focusing on or about the last days, but the facts straight in our faces and having a discussion or putting out thougts to pen and fellowshiping. Absolutely nothing wrong with that in my humble opinion.

What is the saying about wine, it taste sweeter as it ages. So the OP post in not about predictability or that sort, but just an awareness of the times in which we are living in. Methinks, no one really knows the true timeline of those end time events. A person though, especially an elderly beliver would definitely see a stark differance in the world from decades ago to now. Sure, my argurment was and still is , what were those believers during ww2 had in thier minds, probably "surely it must be the end ", but as we know time rolls on. I would say though this last couple of generations has witness remarkable evolution so to speak in the knowledge and speed at which man has developed this world. With that grew a love for it and the race to get a piece of it for their survival and progenitors. Belivers have read the contents of the word and can do some comparison, even if they only live in this generation. Science and Technology has stunned this world into possible futuristic outcomes with technology that seems godlike, if I may use that word. The promise of those techs that gives assurances of modifying our created bodies into other things , which is forbidden ,then leads to conclusion that the good Lord would not permit those things to materialize , as our bodies are the temple of God. Well, it's in the works and all I can say is pull a chair, who knows it could be tommorow it starts, or even as we speak or ???. Just as a reminder, as those who know I write much about the spirit realm, there are lots that goes on there that we cannot see, but is not recorded historically, as the saying goes, seeing is believing. The believer however know that scripture points to a spiritual world too that exist today. Be bless soldiers, keep your armor on.

Yes, you have the scars, but you also have a powerful testimony and witness to those you encounter along the way. Many of us has been down this path too, maybe not to the extremes, but nevertheless, obstacles that still lingers. With time and the process of santification, you will learn to stand firm against those thorns. Strongholds would be broken, just stay on the straight and narrow road. We have gone from a virgin organic world to an artifical world. Our food supply is basically sustained by chemical fertilizers derived from artifical products. We have polluted our air that is essential for a healthy body, and have built machines that can extract the earth resources at rapid rates. This plus all that was mentioned before by the other posters, have contributed to a world at the precipice of disaster. Those are the physical parts that we can see, but there is another part of our world that we cannot see, but has activities that are just as alarming as the one we can see vividly with our eyes. I don't know who have encountered the evils that goes on there, but I have made a thread of what I have encountered and it is very real. Spiritual fornication are what the leaders, merchants and the consumers are all wrapped up in to gain the wealth of the world to live luxurious and with ease and comfort. Who wants to work hard labour, when there are other means of getting the world goods by other means. Even today I am being intoduced to these spiritual seducing spirits to please the spirits behind them, who are really satan minions . Now the world knows how gigantic the world trade is and the vast amount of money is being circulated by the current trade wars. It is truly stunning. Solomon, the man blessed with the most wisdom, was subjected to following the false idols of the pagan Gods. We have put on the FULL armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil and all his schemes and plots. Much that is going on in the world are being implemnted by demon spirits using men to create situations that causes chaos and disaster. First though they create the sense of utopia, like the AI that will soon impact our world in stunning ways. Let me put it this way. Trials and temptations come in so many forms and ways. Discernment and prayer, seeking the Lord face in what to do in situation like these is a good thing. I will be honest and say, many a times I did not listen, but wanted my own way, not in dating situation, but others and well, got burned. The Older ladies here should have the words of advice and caution that I think would be wise to heed. Satan sets his traps in so many diverse ways, that many believers don't think of it as that, but of their own free will. Oh, just read Mr.Thomas Brooks " precious remedies aginst satan devices " and you can see his clever schemes outlined in so many ways. I would say too, you must show your born again attributes as you dialogue with that person and then it will be her to choose and not you, if you have really established to follow your faith. Sometimes the Lord will use situations like these to bring a lost soul home and it can turn out well.

So wait, the stock market rises and falls according to what the US president news statements are. Well, that can make a lot of people who are in close relations a lot of money while others who are not in that loop loose a lot as the undecided will have shaky hands in making their moves. Ha, what a shame, people lives are being toss to and fro from politics that is tied to the economics. That is unethical I would think.

I think so to with the stock market, some get rich and some poor. I also think there is more insider trading or things of that sort that takes place within that whole system. Maybe I am wrong, but just my hunch as the saying goes. I have never considered the Gold and silver alternative as storing that in the place where I live would be a problem. I just want to mantain the cashflow the would see me through as the years increases, in other words to keep up with inflation without too much risk. I guess that may be a problem in this kind of environment that we have now and who knows where it is going. I am still working, [ In Canada one is allowed to work as long as they want by law ] but want to escape that 9-5 now and maybe do some other things. Right now the social security benefits will cover about two thirds and so I think I can manage, but again who knows what systems will come into effect after all this economic turmoil . I will disagree with your take as you wrote above. We are both flesh and spirit and both world interact with each other. The Lord has given us that tool to make wise decisions in circumstances that may confront us . So, discernment can be approached or described in many ways according to the context of the subject. Am right now listening to this song "Surrender" by Joy Williams on "Klove.com" , a powerful tune of what we truly must be in obedience to our creator. Yes surrender is the word. Tune in and choose the oldies to present, it keeps the heart singing along. I guess most folks will be familar with the radio station, but for those who are not, why not.

This is what I am skeptical about. Things can go well for a couple years and then turn of events can affect what one thought might be a safe option. Well we saw that this week. It is true to a point that the market always rebounds, but the uncertainty is what most don't want, but cannot avoid, plus it is an experience that one has to actually witness . Inflation is what I am concerned the most as, one does not know the longetivity and unforseen things that could arise that may have impact on savings ect. I guess everyone has their own situation and I will have to find my rest with of course prayer, wise counsel and doing the homework. Thanks for your input .

Thank you for the input. I am debt free and my savings is decent. As we know though, if not invested for growth, inflation will eat into it each year and by the amount that each country is at. I did have investment advisors, but as you said, they do things to make them money. If one is financially illiterate, then you are at the mercy of their advice. I think I have a better understanding now of how basic investment work and can be more involved with a broker or bank. The way I see it, conservative investment rarely beats inflation and only stocks or mutual funds can have impact for growth. Sometime planning can change or situation can arise that changes things, so I guess I was seeking to see any other options than stocks and the market. I will also say too, that parents must teach their kids the importance of managing their finance and the way the different options of investment work. In today's world , that is vital from an early age . Thanks again.
