Can we take the man Job as an example of life trials. Job did what was right before the Lord, yet he suffered immense loss and sorrows of family and estate. Trials would come about without notice and can be as severe as could imagine, yet cause and effect is for the believer to walk through in his own experience, that is just that, his own. It will be left to him to do post examination of how and why and sometimes , in the beginning the question will pop up "Why me, what have I done ". Trials are your training ground and for affirmation of the spiritual realm spoken of in scripture e.g Ephesians 6:10. It solidifies your faith even more, because the living reality of your trials becomes a testimony when others are going through their afflictions and also for you to stand firm when all around is falling apart. edit. Doubt is one of the believer greatest enemy. The devil uses the world and the enticement of it to sow seeds of our existence and creation. Science has come a long way, in that we are now moving into the virtual reality world, where the believer if not been through the fire can immense succumb. So the sorrows and the rest, though wrenching and burdensome are ways to strengthen you when the battles are declared upon your soul,body and spirit for your soul.

One can look at these events in two fronts, one from a humanistic view and the other biblical. The one with the humanist can vary, in that the capalist are the one percent who are profiting huge profits and causing poverty and inequality and therefoe something has to be don. Also, he can have views of the WEF, whose stated agenda is to bring stability to the world through changes in the way we work and uses the world resources. Therefore all conuntries must come into compliance with their stated goals as laid out in their published work on the Fourth industrial revolution, with outlines for AI and the technical revolution . The next on biblical and prophetic view points are simply that these times and events are upon us as written in the word and how they are interpreted and received is to how the believer will make his call. Protest are effective in bringing down nations and the planners of these events know that they have to push the envelope to get the attention . The days of social media wins over mind. The unbeliving world wants the justice in every sphere where they perceive inequality and they are using the tools of the powerful media who now takes sides to sway public opinion. We all have to make choices , as I am sure there is conflicts in a family with different views on local and world events. The children of tommorow will grow up in a very different world from the ones we left. How would it be, is . One more, this AI thing is here and it seems like it is something that no one will be able to control as it increases in speed and functionality. It can only be one thing, satan in this form that then controls the world. Does it not all adds up, covid, the wars, and uncertainty, that will cry for rulership.

Well, when you want a regime change you put boots on the ground to establish control of the captial and either send the leaders in exile or let them flee. The middle eastern countries which have and ideolgy that the Israel cannot exist as a Jewish state must be eliminated. The 1948 war, demonstrated that clearly. They know, Israel has an fromidable defencse and offensive army and would not put boots on the ground . They can weaken and frustrate them by showing their ability to send their weapons of war from far. The leader of Israel has to do what must be done to eliminate their capabilities and thus the war they are in now. Pray for Israel, the their enemies would be routed and their plans fail. They very well know the biblical scripture as their book has really been a plagiarize counterfiet of the bible. They want their book to be the true revelation of God, as they always mention that the bible is corrupted. They conquerd and converted millions by the sword and their ideolgy is for every person to convert to a muslim or be subordinate to them. You have to do a little research into their ideology to see why they hold their views and dogmas.

You know, everytime I get the opportunity to outline the gospel and be in defence of it, I just face opposition or silence or rejection. Seems like no one wants to hear anything of he bible. There are a few who would agree with some bible verses, but their life on a whole is not living as salvation found. There is a lot of mocking and quoting of what others say of Jesus ect. But I sow the seed and leave it there. I tell you, it seems to me, most of this entire young generation is not intrested in spiritual matters, but are engaged in the monetary world ,technology and leisure.

It just astounds me when they show a map of the middle east with Israel and Iran highlighted. Iran looks like it's about 80 times larger. Iran, never had the capabilities before to send ballistic missiles and such with range and accuracy. The middle eastern countries has caught up with the technology enough to launch destructive weapons from their own soil, so that they don't have to fight conventional war and be humiliated like in the previous battles. Satan kingdom is at work to manipulate people to isolate Israel and use governments and institutions to condem Israel for being proactive in their survival in a hostile environment. Really, don't know how they will survive, unless there is divine intervention and protection as others have mentioned.I will say too. Prophetic revelations and how they play out are not to my full understanding, but I read those who comment on them. Their are supernatural things that are taking place in all the lands that live in so called peace and security. People are being controlled by demonic forced to worship an invisible spirit, of course which cannot be seen, but could be felt within their senses and body, and also reflects on their economic life. This is true and I will not go further into it . God is my witness and it is he I am accountable to in the end.

Indeed, it will show true liberty for any citizen to protest their cause peacefully. There is the sphere in the manner which protest should be done and in accordance with the law of the land. The universities and colleges are place of learning and while students group and others have the right to protest, it should be done without interruption of the institution law and activities. I think protest of political and war events should be done on the streets and with letters to the leaders of the land. I really don't know how to phrase a reply like this to be socially correct, but I guess what I am saying , is places of learning are there just for that. If the schools and universities are found to have corruption, then it should be made public in the media and to the government officials and investigation be done. To be frank, the universities have for the most part gone woke and is part of the havoc that is being pushed to bring about the "New World Order".

I had issuer earlier on where, I could not sleep for months and months. It was demonic oppression which I knew for sure as I have been in spiritual battles . That is a story for another day. I can write a few pages here of the struggles I went through and to a lesser extent still go through. Please, if by any circumstance you are going on meds, read and research the drug thoroughly, as some of those would get you on them for life, as they become dependent or a crutch that really is no cure. Not saying you should not seek medical advice, but you must also know that the Christian are in spiritual warfare and Satan comes to oppress and wear down the saints. Take your position on Christ and stand firm no matter what. You know and you must realize , you are not alone in these struggles. I am sure many here are going through many things, but are afraid or timid to share them. If I speak my issues, then it may sound pitiful and hence I refrain from doing so. I have shared a bit before here a while back, but I don't want to do so anymore. My name I choose here is because of so much battles that took place in the spiritual realm, that I always remembered King David in his battle with Goliath and also Ephesians 6. I am a warrior , never touched a gun in my life or fought with any man, but with the spiritual host of wickedness in high places. Stand strong in the Lord sister, the devil is a defeated foe. You will pass on your battle stories to your children and others as you testify of the truths of this world we live in, the seen and unseen.

I think for a believer, petition for our needs and for others are natural order, as we are encouraged in scripture to do so. I am sure or hope all would ask for divine providence and for the leading our life in the direction that would favor good outcomes. Also, we must portion out our time for chores and other daily necessary funcitons. Following up , I would like to ask, what or where is the reference point used to determine North and South ?. US is to the west if using physical geographical position and say using Israel as the center point. According to google, Turkey is at the center of the geographical location on earth.

Realistically though, problems are not solved on their own. It takes effort from both our human abilities and our spiritual journey . Does not matter if we focus on just the spiritual part of our life, the cows still have to be milked, the roof still has to be replaced and sometime, if not often ,the help of community relief those burdens. The spiritual supplication that is sent up, works in ways as each experience and accepts their answer. The main difference is that, the physical part of our life we can see before us and the spiritual is as to the testimony of the receiver. So, with his testimony, he shares of the wonder of the living God. Paul was called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of Christ. If a believer feels that conviction, then he has to emulate Paul's life, which is a task that you have to be prepared for. In our spiritual journey as a "born again" believer, we now have that built in conviction to share the gospel. Your question though, if one is not careful, can lead to neglect in family and other areas, so I think a balance has to be struck.

At 64, I still have that energy driven mindset, cause my job as an Service Technician, mainly with Photcopiers and printers, would present challengers that would keep your mind thinking of solutions, as they can be varied. The word "Jamming" is famous for those machines as paper has to pass through the machine, which does it reading and writing to the paper, which a myraid of problem can occur. Finding the solution in quick time, especially when you are at a customer location, means you gotta be "processing solutions" all the time. Some are known, while others can pull hairs. Paul did heal the sick and raise the dead. Those are huge problems that affected people. They were done so in the preaching and teaching of the gospel, as part of the overall well being of men. Solving problems is part of the natural world that we live and which has evolved into this huge machine that we have to deal with. Some men are chosen to do the dedicated task of leading men to Christ. Are pastors ordained by men or God ?. The Christian is always reminded though, that he is a soul winner and his task is always at hand in the different situations that he encounters daily. Luke 9 62 Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”

Could I say "rough neck " . Yes, the will to get things done and not minding the little afflictions that come with the bravery, is part of a true tradesman or craftsman. I think it is still in your blood, even at your age. There is a time though as you said, to bite the butllet and live with the memories or all those glorious projects and adventures that you were blessed with. I myself love construction and have worked on a few huge project sites, one being an oil refinery. It is indeed a danger oriented field, but the thrill of working with numerous people, tools, equipment and others to bring a plant to production is pure energy for me. Since moving to Canada, I have had to find work in another field ,as the brutal winter here is not for the faint hearted. I could have still managed, but I also loved electronics, which I did a one year course that set me on that journey now for the past 25yrs, and I like it just as much. Oh well, you still have fields that you can branch on to, and be less physical challenging. It will never replace your love for your hobbies, but it will keep you moving about with less of pitfalls that the more youthful can tolerate. I know the supercomputers can do the calculations ect, and come up with the precise dates, but man looks to those accuracy as their gods i.e science. Quite right that the thread is about Daniel. But Daniel vision is about what time period and who are you referring to when you are using current events to interpret the verse. You are using the united states as reference to the verse and to current events too in Israel. The thread would not be static in one place, but in getting more information about your understanding of the verse, questions would be asked that would lead to the final the chapter on end times events . edit . should be "lead to the final book on end times prophecy, named the book of revelation ".

Look at it this way. What are the demographic composition of Israel. There are more muslims and Jews than a very tiny amount of Christians and others . I think it is a fair question to ask for people who does not know very little about eschaology . Is it such a big deal for you to answer that simple question. There are lot of people who may have recently been saved, seeing what is taking place in the world and intrested in learning about the end time events and such. So taking a little time to explain who the saints are, should not be an issue. I agree with you, that believers would know who the saints are, but here we are dealing with the book of revelation, that as we see many here have different views and can get difficult to follow. Peace and as I said patience if you are teaching and or interpreting the word. There are many who are still drinking milk and still others who don't study end times doctrine.

Not everyone that comes here is a believer, some are just searching out for answers, some just want to know what believers believe. So, while you hold that opinion, it may be differnt in reality.
