At Florida some 50,000 out of State electric power companies employees were staged here. Companies from all over are still running huge trucking operations to dispose of appliances, furniture, construction waste, and trees. Where do they hole up while here? Are there going to be a whole lot of places for emergency crews to reside while doing sustained work at the mountain towns of NC? Workers sleeping in shifts just may not want visitors with cameras nor have to worry about some nutcase going postal on them.

Fair question to ponder for sure. Was my conception and birth of my freewill? I think it was not. Does that then mean I am a robot? I don't think so. So too is being born again not of one's own will, but also not without one's own participation in response to the spiritual awakening made possible, even forced into choosing by the Holy Spirit. Overall I can only, with absolute certainty, speak of my own turning about to my repentance of sin against God (Denial of Him), onto my being born again through reveal by the Holy Spirit that God is present, He is real, his son is real, my savior. That by him alone am I made acceptable to God the Father. I was challenged turned on my head out of the blue and made to see that Jesus is Lord. Call it the scales being removed, poetically; but it was more a one two punch experience for me! I was pivoted on the spot, no tracts, no felt boards, no romans road even, just a direct confrontation, against which I had no alternative, not this side of my sanity. So freewill? Not really. Some sing of being freed from sin, I find I was captured by Grace; am still captive, and love it! Freewill - Calvinism? I don't care, let those that love to debate have their entertainment. I am quite willing to be the world's only freewill Calvinist. If that is what I am. I know God because God is faithful to answer prayer of those that rightly petition him for proper things, things not for personal gain, but instead for His glory alone. Was it predestined that Grandparents would pray for me for years, and their prayers answered long after their deaths? I am certain of it. Is that experience different from that of many others? I guess it is. And so, I do not try fitting God into a box of my own design and manufacture. I simply praise Him for His mercy from everlasting to everlasting and that He knowing me predestined me from before the beginning granting me this awesome adventure.

Are not all born "off track"? Psalm 51:5 among other references seems to declare that to be so. Who grows up as a Christian? ??? One might grow up in a Christian like family setting, one might parrot all that is taught on Sundays with felt board cut outs, but grow up as a Christian?- does that not negate the statement of our Lord that all must be born again? Reference John 3: 3-8 seems to state one must be born again; of water and Spirit. Further does not a father welcome back a son who once left, but returns? Hi, Seems to me God is Holy - perfect; God cannot abide that which is not holy - perfection too. I don't think God will see any that are to be with Him, his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, for all eternity as damaged. The shed blood soaked into the earth, as Jesus took on all the damage, the sin against God of those foreknown and predestined to be with the Godhead for eternity, has washed all those called by the Holy Spirit that heed that specific call. Therefore all are perfect in God's sight, acceptable only as being perfected by the perfect sacrifice willingly made by Jesus; His doing of His father's will. I just don't see any being damaged that are saved out to reside with God. Literally Jesus' sacrifice has it covered. ps, my life is made "beautiful" even now, by the will of the Holy Spirit serving to bring awareness to me of Jesus' sacrifice that makes me acceptably and perfectly washed white as snow.

Hi, God walked among the world's population of humans from the very beginning at what dispensationalists might describe as the age of innocence did He not? The manifestations of God in angelic and or human form are if not numerous ar at least plural are they not? Our Lord Jesus came with strong proclamation of his coming too. Doesn't seem like he was in a disguise to me. The world was changed for a time, a long time, by Satan's temptation of Eve and Adam's resulting sin against God, far as I recall reading of it. Hi, I enjoy dealing in what if's! Questioning is not a sign of a lack of faith, but instead may be a high reward of /for faith. For truth wins out more so when questioned! So to "question everything" is to seek the sound foundation for every conclusion reached. One excellent way is to start with the what ifs then seek both confirmation and also conflicting/contrasting guides within the Bible in order to make use of the precepts and commands in daily life adventures as one sojourns on this planet upon this side of the grass. Having a Berean mindset or approach to "what if's" promotes fuller understanding of the Word and it's application for personal individual use today. Okay all, from all over, where do you think the signs are pointing today regarding the prophesy of the Bible as a whole, the reveal of Jesus? Say what? To my way of thinking there is a dramatic and soon to be very traumatic shift in world power structure with literally internationally powerful "robber Barrons" much like those of the 1800's, evidently uniting within the USA today. The newly forming USA "DOGE" being a "type" of such an effort by the powers on this earth under rule of the prince of the air. My own mind is awash in the thought of how rapidly the gang warfare of the "oligarchy" is reorganizing, much like an old Mafia movie might depict turf wars and gangland meetings happening. The USA is not seen in prophecy far as most that study such things can find. Yet right now there is sooo much rapidly coming together that lives and emits breath of a super powerful few that run much of what is present in this world today. And it is happening right at the USA! Land, industry, creativity, food supply, and water rights are all being rolled up into a tightly owned and controlled unit, much like the few or two hands full the robber barons did in the 1800's. Is this just another era, or is this a real advance deep into the end of end times? How does the power politics of a few point to the soon wiping out of perhaps a third of the world population and then a third yet again, if it does at all? Are there simply types of antichrists present as has always been among us, or are we looking at The Antichrist today?

Lots of people talk, fewer walk their talk, so yes I am asking do you put skin ( your own money) in the game or not? Same is true of trust in the faith in Jesus. There is many a talker but far fewer walkers. Seems lot of the louder talkers are just that talkers only.

BTW I would share using the premise of Rev. Charles Spurgeon's sermon "The Wordless Book" the book of three pages Black, Red, and White, with no words on them. "There once was an old Divine".... We would learn some basics of Bible verses highlighting sin ( Black page) shed blood of our savior ( Red page) and being washed white as snow (White page). They absolutely loved that mental picture being waged/made white as snow, purified in the shed blood of Jesus- They got it! Also adding as did CEF the other colors of the song "The Wordless Book", we would sing that song each week. I have a terrible singing voice, which absolutely delighted them! They would laugh and be past any hesitancy on their part. All would sing worship, and also learn the concept of sin against God, the propitiation that Jesus is, and how they each become individually saved- washed white as snow, pure.

Hi, May I take the tact that one does not become saved to eternal life with Jesus by knowing the gospel as in passing a test of competence regarding understanding the books of the Bible. That instead salvation is the key to later learning of the Bible, and that the key to salvation is the specific call to each individual by the Holy Spirit. I declare that I have witnessed, felt, and experienced, the Holy Spirit's presence among and within the retarded* fellow humans among us; from the high functioning retarded adult to the severely autistic and even horribly physically deformed and lowest functioning. There is the same hope in Christ Jesus that is there for the highest functioning of all of us. Some of my fondest memories in fellowship with Christians, born again saved by the grace and mercy of God individuals occurred when I was involved with groups of retarded individuals. When exposed to Him they respond, craving more of our Lord and of the Holy Spirit too. It is the highlight of their week to be at church worshipping, studying and participating one with another in fellowship. At one time we had a church based class A Bible Learning Experience (ABLE) most of the participants were in group homes, most were higher functioning; but I ended up with two that were hardly capable of breathing. They were deformed, twisted like pretzels, on gurneys. I had to take them in order to receive several of the higher functioning from one care facility. So we did. I wheeled them into the main sanctuary for opening prayers and worship (Music) and then we would take our group to a classroom for lessons in the Bible, questions/conversation, projects, and fellowship. One day early on in having the two on gurneys in the sanctuary there was a moment when one then the other experienced something- they both started to respond every time the name Jesus was sung in a gospel song or hymn! They both would get rather ecstatically joy filled, one would squeal with delight. It was much like they had suddenly gone Pentecostal ( LOL). That happened every week at the sanctuary, and when we sang in the classroom setting too. * I still use retarded not mentally disabled. Personally I find the label "disabled" to be a sentence of defeat; whereas retarded only means slow or slower or not yet, but possibly yet to come. I absolutely loved my time of being involved with these fun fellow saints in Christ Jesus. My age eventually took it's toll, as it is a physically draining ministry.
