There are so many evil disciples hoping to teach the people of Christ to betray the truth and follow their arguments today. Greedy, materialist doctrine is the latest to draw what is called mega-church population to listen to such worthless trash. Then there is that which hopes to lead the faithful to believe sin no longer exists and all that is said in scripture to assure damnation is now permitted to be tolerated in church. And is by God. This evil disciple doctrine went so far as to publish its own book and call it a bible after its own self. Then there are that which hopes to divide the church by assailing all Christians faith and practice. The bigot doctrine. No, you do not have to be pure in doctrine to be saved. God told us it is a matter of his grace that saves. And all that is needed from us is faith in that we are worthy, and that his only begotten son died to deliver the truth to us. Repent and be saved. Be baptized and enter into the rite that follows the journey of Christ as the God-Man, who was killed by the enemies of truth, was buried in the tomb, and arose in the miracle of resurrection to demonstrate the truth of his Father's word. That death is not the end for those who are in God's grace as believers in Christ. We are not perfect. God knows. I think the effort that is necessary on our part is to recognize the impure doctrines that hope to destroy Jesus' people. And his purpose. It is easy to know who those are. They are so bold that they start churches, publish books, and access any avenue to fulfill their lowly mission. Just as God knows his own people, so too does the enemy of God Satan know his own. If you watch closely you'll see them for what they are too. Don't worry about being perfect. God loves you. That's what's perfect.

It would not even be wise to open spam when it is any email from any person you do not know. There are those who choose to destroy people of Christ by any means available. The Internet is the avenue of the coward that hides behind their anonymity in furtherance of that intention. Be careful sister. Cling to God and his truth and be ye not afraid. As we are told to be in this life. Remember, Satan is lord here. He too has his disciples. In the realm of Eschatology, it would not be the first time God's wrath has come upon the earth. We humans repopulate carrying the same fallen nature that warranted the cleansing. God slaughtered the first born of every Egyptian house in Moses' time. The blood of the lamb, which was to be the blood of his only son arrived in the new covenant teachings generations later, was painted on the doors of God's chosen so that the angel of death would know which infants to leave alive. It is a mystery. God lets his wrath fall upon the earth as he at one time killed every living thing for its sin save for the one family he chose to survive. And their patriarch was a drunk. Then the world was repopulated and we humans were no different still. Now we who are in God's grace find our way to his beloved son and are baptized and washed clean of that fallen self dead to his words. And still, we are told, the day of wrath shall befall again. It is a mystery. We are to be prepared when we are truly in the palm of our savior we have no fear of what will befall those who are not so.

How so? When who and what the person is and knows themselves to be is what compels them to act despisedly. Not even the Father of Lights loved those who acted in evil. The testament of old shares this with us.

I wasn't aware those who do not believe God exists were allowed here. However, it does help me to understand what I have seen displayed by that which I thought was on display. But did not think was allowed in a Christian forum. Thank you for clearing it up.

I am a member of a wonderfully warm church in my home town. Walking across the threshold feels like stepping into a deeply warm hug. I am so blessed to have found such a community. I had attended other churches as a child and they were sterile of that feeling. It felt like the people were there because they were expected to be. The pastor was very judgmental and harsh and did not practice what was preached in the bible. And after church the cattiness among the gossips both women and men was disgusting. Those who were not part of that would walk to our cars hearing the voices at our backs speaking against us for any number of transgressions in their judgment. The worst and final straw was when the pastor announced expansion into a Christian school project on the property. Bullies were bad enough in school, but in church was beyond the pale.

There is a saying, let go and let God. Worrying about how we can be in control of everything in our lives is what keeps us stressed and afraid of our life. When it comes to God, rather than think how I should do something to feel something, I release the worry and know that every cell of my being has God's breath invigorating it to life. He is with me as he has been from the beginning. Realizing I am worthy all that he believes me to be as his daughter takes time because of how we often feel about ourselves. And yet, God loves us with a pure love that does not judge us as we judge ourselves. Because God knew everything about us before we were born. Let go. And see where His spirit takes you. It isn't like a pill you can pop in your mouth and have that instant feeling of being one with him. It is a process that involves our letting ourselves and our need to control what comes into our feelings that takes time because we have to realize we can free ourselves and be OK.
