  1. Hi there, I know of what you speak. And I have no intention of becoming that. I pray for such as that instead. That really ticks 'em off. Thank you for your kind words and your support. You're really eloquent. I like that.
  2. Can you imagine the number of jokes already born of this story? Something along the lines of batteries, software, hardware, and mico-chips, and charging power sockets? It's a whole new evolution for PMS. Plugged My Sweety in.
  3. I think the world would prefer a diplomatic pursuit of this issue. I think the question is, while president Trump is willing to show diplomacy, is Kim Jong-un's actions as leader of Korea an example of a man who is capable of reciprocating?
  4. Corinth was in the southern part of Greece and that was where Paul established his church during the second missionary journey to the area. The Corinthians that he wrote to, which is why it is the epistles, which means letters, of first and second Corinthians , are his letters to the Corinthians of his church. Corinth being in Greece was surrounded by pagans and those who were carnal and also idolaters. Meanwhile, in the church itself there was a lot of strife. Don't be misled though in reading that passage and thinking, well why would Paul say this when Jesus himself ate with persons that were not considered worthy by his Apostles and all that? This is a great short article that you might enjoy and find helpful in understanding Paul's concern and guidance. I hope so anyway. 5. I checked this site and this topic has been discussed at length. Including the fact that you would have read what was afforded in that prior discussion shortly after this United flight 3411 incident broke news. It is not in dispute. The plane was not overbooked. United Airlines says controversial flight was not overbooked; CEO apologizes again Excessive force is evident when the passenger in question had his nose broken and lost two teeth due to police action. That is evidence of excessive force. Besides the fact there was no actual cause to ask this paying passenger to disembark the flight. Nor to ask any passengers to leave the plane that was not overbooked. All of this has been discussed in that prior thread. Why argue what is already in fact done with? It isn't going to change the facts to what may be preferred by those opposed to them. WEX LAW Excessive Force Excessive force refers to force in excess of what a police officer reasonably believes is necessary. A police officer may be held liable for using excessive force in an arrest, an investigatory stop, or other seizures. A police officer may also be liable for not preventing another police officer from using excessive force. Whether the police officer has used force in excess of what he reasonably believed necessary at the time of action is a factual issue to be determined by the jury.
  6. Thanks for posting the full copyrighted article that in long form says the same thing I did in short form. And without copyright violation. Big plusers on that one that's for sure.
  7. No, turns out the flight was not overbooked. And excessive force is obvious in the video's passengers captured of this man being dragged from the plane. So too are his injuries indication of excessive force. There was no reason for this man to be assaulted in this way. The airline settled. That's an admission of guilt regardless.
  8. I think of how many in history have been thought to be that. I just watched a Jim Baker program, and he doesn't look anything like himself when he was with Tammy Faye, wherein a author guest said that the current president of Turkey fits many of the identifiers himself. It will come to pass in God's own time. I ain't worried.
  9. Hey, you gotta point there. I went in and put my gender on my profile so as to avoid lemur confuzions.
  10. Would a guy call himself lemurchampagne? Imagine the visuals behind that one.
  11. Nobody. That's the secret. Victoria's secret was started by men. Men who decided to create a shop where sexy lingerie they wanted to see their women in would be sold. After those men retained designers to create what those men's imaginations conjured to fit the image of sexy lingerie. Victor's secret just wouldn't have had the same appeal.
  12. Didn't Jesus tell us all that was required to be saved? The Word made flesh? Were the first people before Torah unaware of God? John 5:37-40 You have neither heard the Father's voice nor seen his form. But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to me that you may have life.
  13. Do you know what Victoria's secret actually is?
  14. I don't agree with all that which the Catholic tradition teaches on Mary. Though I think compassion calls me to consider that we humans will make complicated that which is simply divine. And I take heart in knowing too that many a Roman Catholic has departed the church to find their way outside its traditions. And for me that is as God wills when his Spirit inside them calls them forth and out. Maybe one day the exodus will speak even unto the Pope and give him insight as to where he sits is the constructed complicated blueprint that created that throne of man. Wouldn't that be something to behold? Breaking News! The Pope leaves the Catholic faith.
  15. Wow, you're very impatient with those who don't concede to your point. I arrived at my remarks in the spirit of charity. You are not able to see you are levying judgment and you are impatient with those who see that you do and that you assume the righteous right to state what amounts to in your opinion that no woman called by God to preach should actually be there. That's what you are arguing in a short form as I read you. As I said before I understand your passion in this area. I was mistaken. I do not understand a passion that speaks as this that has recently posted here. And I will not be addressed in a manner not befitting the charity and compassion in which I first entered into this subject.
  16. I understand your passion in this area. I would caution though that you not attempt to take your opinion that is against God's calling of women pastors and make remarks that present your point of view as one of intolerance and entitlement to judge the whole of the faith and those in service to. Because they are female and in positions of service to God and his calling that you do not agree with nor respect as such. That's really unfair.
  17. I heard about this poor man. That was a fast settlement. I also heard the airline stock suffered because of this also. It's bad when people are scared to fly because the airline may end up not letting them for some arbitrary reason left to the crew to decide.
  18. I like how you think. I am glad you spoke of how we are all one in Christ. That's very true. Paul told us that. There is no Jew, Gentile, Greek. We're all one in Christ. And definitely if someone isn't about a woman preacher they shouldn't attend a church that has a woman pastor. I think we're family as Christians. And I think when we're in church it should feel that way too. That's an important factor. Having as pastor one that you can feel good about as teacher, counselor.
  19. I think you're wrong. Because it was the Jewish religious culture that asked for Jesus to be executed because of what he was teaching already. Women had a very subservient role in the time of Christ. Jesus flew in the face of that and had women in his company of Apostles. The women traveled with him , the women were at the foot of the cross when he died. And women carried forth the ministry after he departed. Pastor doesn't appear in scripture? That is fine. It doesn't have to. Women still served God's purpose. The same argument today that says women can't be pastors is an argument that is carrying forth from the time before Christ. I'm not intending to change anyone's mind that believes God would never call a woman to pastor. Scriptures show that he did and the world shows that he does. Thinking that God upholds the tradition of men is wrong. That doesn't mean people are not entitled to think it is true.
  20. Well, he certainly thought we were worth the suffering he underwent as Jesus so he could bestow his grace in return for our faith in that.
