yes, God is the beginning of life how is it possible that there be something made from nothing?! God speaks to humans, it is another question whether they understand everything He tries to tell them; He spoke things into existence Blessings
-
as a general rule, the true God doesn't provide reincarnation for any soul - He thinks one life under the conditions of sin and death is enough as for the above verses, the matter at hand in my previous posts was the fact that there is an eternity of eternities, IOW, eternal circle, and, as it is evident, what is said in those verses is a case in point Blessings
-
if something is created, then there must be some matter from which that thing is created, or how is it possible that there be something made from nothing?! Blessings

reincarnation is possible within one eternity, while there can be no reincarnation within many eternities, albeit consecutive, because everything starts from the beginning when a next eternity begins, and Jesus, the Lord, also talks about age of many successive eternities: Matthew 28:20 (NHEB) "look, I am with you every day, even to the end of the age.", Revelation 1:18 (Aramaic Bible) "I am he who lived and died, and behold, I am alive to the eternity of eternities, amen, and I have the key of Death and of Sheol.", Revelation 22:5 (Aramaic Bible) "And there shall be no night there and neither will they need lights, lamps, or the light of the Sun, because THE LORD JEHOVAH God gives them light, and he is their King for the eternity of eternities." there are many other verses and passages in the Bible speaking of eternal circle of existence, positions of and events with the souls - the book Ecclesiastes is devoted entirely to the (doctrine of) eternal judgment - the most essential details about the eternal circle are presented/explained in it Blessings

there is no reincarnation; there is an eternal circle of existence, positions of and events with the souls - reincarnation is a belief coming from the vedas, while the doctrine of eternal judgment(Hebrews 6:2) is the foundation in all biblical scriptures as the Lord says in Matthew 7:12 - the difference between the two consists in the fact that the doctrine of eternal judgment speaks of an eternal process that is both endless and cyclic like a constantly revolving wheel which rotates at a constant speed about its axis and makes full revolutions ad infinitum, and it is possible for a soul to be born and die only once within one single cycle of that eternal process, while the vedic doctrine speaks of many consecutive births, forms of existence and deaths accompanied by much more suffering for every soul within one enormous eternity - 8,000,000 animal and 400,000 human successive births, forms of existence and deaths proceeding in the evolutionary direction of that (vedic) circle and then again those 8,400,000 births, forms of existence and deaths but proceeding in the devolutionary direction of the same process called "samsara" - so according to those satanic scriptures every soul in the universe must and will necessarily/inevitably be born, exist and die zillions of times successively within one enormous eternity, while according to the biblical scriptures every soul may be born and die only once within one single eternity, albeit always in the same order/sequence through which each of them goes in the course of the circle of the eternity of eternities Hebrews 9:24-28 (NASB) "Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the holy place year by year with blood that is not his own. Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment, so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.", Ecclesiastes 9:2-3 (NASB) "It is the same for all. There is one fate for the righteous and for the wicked; for the good, for the clean and for the unclean; for the man who offers a sacrifice and for the one who does not sacrifice. As the good man is, so is the sinner; as the swearer is, so is the one who is afraid to swear. This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one fate for all men." Blessings

to @brakelite and others that don't get this each of the heavenly holy angels of God had been a very righteous person in this world during previous cycles of eternity, and therefore has won the eternal reward in the "heaven", which is to be born as a holy angel in the "heaven" for many successive eternities - so there is no chance for Them to fall and become great sinners just like that (but only after countless consecutive eternities), plus, when that happens their souls will be born as humans in this world, not as holy angels in heaven - the "stars" in Revelation 12:4 are not (be)souled holy angels of God, but unsouled spirits, which are called "stones of fire/fiery stones" in Ezekiel 28:14-16 Blessings
-
i talked about the primordial substance that was not created by Him - it is one of the uncaused things that were already in the universe before and after He created the first things that He created (namely the "heaven" and the "earth") - Genesis 1:1-2 - after all, He had to use some material to create things from it Blessings
-
the persuasion that heavenly holy angles of God fell and turned into angels of the "darkness" is a misbelief - there has never been a heavenly holy angel of God to fall and become an angel of the "darkness" (at least not in one single cycle of eternity - in principle many successive cycles of eternity must pass so that such an angel may turn out to be a great sinner, but if a soul is born in the "heaven" as a holy angel of God, then it cannot fall and become an angel of the "darkness" in the same cycle of eternity it is born as such) angels of satan have been souls that were born as humans in this world but practiced deep occultism for a long enough time, especially the teaching known nowadays as yoga of krishna and patanjali, while satan himself is not a (be)souled being, but (unsouled) spirit, albeit intelligent like God - after all, satan is the main manifestation of the "darkness", which is the negative aspect of the divine Blessings

Is John 14:13 only addressed to the apostles?
ytLiJC replied to Lucian Hodoboc's topic in Defense of the Gospel
in principle it applies to all people who practice the faith right(eously) enough, but unfortunately there may be a spiritual crisis in which the righteous prayers for overall salvation may not be fulfilled completely but slightly (Matthew 24:20-21), and it is even a fact that there has been such a crisis for the last decades, and the possible cause of such a crisis is great spiritual unrighteousness/lawlessness/wickedness usually manifesting in the form of ostensibly useful religions (not only satanism, but also religions called "sacred") Blessings -
the One Who is really the true God could never afford to deliberately allow any person to be born sinful, because He is the system Administrator and Provider of life for the whole infinite universe, and His job, as such, is to provide every soul in the universe with abundant and eternal life without causing or allowing there to be stumbling blocks/complications as to the overall salvation and life's provision - it is another question why there have been so many evils with so many people, but one thing i can say for certain, namely that the true God is not guilty of any evil however, what has caused there to be evil(s) in the world is the lawlessness/wickedness of wicked/evil humans, but first of all the ones who commit spiritual unrighteousness/lawlessness/wickedness - they are the people of sin and death Blessings
-
also, God created only what was created by God John 1:3 (KJV) "without him was not any thing made that was made." which means there are things that have not been created - things that are indefinitely existing throughout the time's infinity - and something of those things was used by God as a constructive/structural substance/material - it is called "water" in Genesis 1:2 and 2 Peter 3:5-6 Blessings

Why Creation Is Right and Evolution Is Wrong.
ytLiJC replied to KiwiChristian's topic in Defense of the Gospel
i was you, you were me, he was her, she was him..... - every soul was in the place of any other soul in previous cycles of eternity - such is the ongoing eternal circle (biblically, "eternal judgment" - Hebrews 6:2) - to put it another way, the souls are alternated as to their personalities/positions/fates in the course of the eternal cycle Blessings -
Why Creation Is Right and Evolution Is Wrong.
ytLiJC replied to KiwiChristian's topic in Defense of the Gospel
God doesn't need evolution to create (be)souled beings and provide them with full life, though there is an inevitable eternal circle of existence, positions of and events with the souls Blessings -
yes, with truth and spirit, and unfortunately such worshipers turn out to be scarce nowadays Blessings

did you ever see or recognize angels of satan?!, i did and can say those creatures could, God forbid, appear and disappear through physical materialization and teleportation, though they don't necessarily need to always appear to people here is an example of such a creature who was one of the nephilim that survived the flood and who appeared to Moses and israelites in order to war against them: Deuteronomy 3:11 (AKJV) "only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.", Joshua 13:12 (AKJV) "All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out." there have been nephilim also for the last centuries, they could hide in the extramundane occult realms, which means they couldn't be drowned by dihydrogen monoxide, nor hurt by any physical means (i.e. consisting of atoms, molecules or other elementary particles which are part of the physical matter) - they could, God forbid, use the physical matter as a clay in their hands materializing/transforming great things Blessings

i don't intend to accuse or condemn humans/souls in principle, and think what you say about intellectualism is at least a little true, but Scripture can't be understood only by interpreting it quite literally, first because there are many things presented in it which can be discerned/determined/understood only spiritually through righteous (practice of) faith; second, there are not a few specific spiritual concepts expressed in specific terms in Scripture, whose explanation can't be found in the hitherto prevailing dictionaries and encyclopedias, though the words that are used for referring to them can be found in dictionaries and encyclopedias, but even biblical lexicons such as that of james strong don't present the full explanation of many biblical terms 1 Corinthians 2:12-14 (AKJV) "we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." ultimately it is not quite right to call such scriptural words and expressions figurative, because they are spiritual, while the figurative terms are typical of belles lettres and fiction how can you be sure that the "flood" in the time of Noah was a flood entirely of dihydrogen monoxide!? - don't you think that we must either have been present at the time of that "flood" or receive revelations from the One Who is really the true God to know exactly what happened then?! - some creatures both were eyewitnesses to what happened at the time of that "flood" and have received (and still receive) revelations from Him - if they appear to explain, some people may not believe them Blessings
-
take into consideration the fact that angels of satan (a.k.a. nephilim and "giants" - Gen 6:1-4) could not be drowned by water(dihydrogen monoxide), because they could hide in the extramundane occult realms for a long time, including for centuries and millennia, though they were human beings like all other people it seems as if you hadn't read the passage - here it is: Acts 8:29-31 (NASB) "the Spirit said to Philip, “Go up and join this chariot.” Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him." do you think the only hope is scripture?!, what came first, the Word that comes directly from the mouth of God, or, scripture, given that scripture is a written record of the Word that was first spoken by God?! also, remember the parable of the sower from Matthew 13:3-23, from which it becomes clear that there could be people to not understand the verbal testimony or the written record of the word of God yes, God has to save all humans and souls in the universe, but this doesn't mean each of them has necessarily to become and be a spiritual servant in this (cycle of) eternity, because claiming such a thing is like claiming that every subject has to become and be a president, premier, minister or another political leader - why must every national/citizen be(come) a political leader?! but this doesn't mean that the religious worshipers don't have to practice the faith right(eously) enough, because how can we be sure that the meaning of everything God said was quite literal, especially when Scripture is full of revelations of scriptural words, expressions and prophecies that were previously mentioned (i.e. by previous Prophets/Saints)?! - an example of such a scripture is 1 Corinthians 9:9-11 that was already mentioned in a previous post here it is evident that there is a contradiction to what you say above, because first you say that the meaning of everything written in Scripture is (quite) literal, then you say that a highly educated eunuch cannot understand what is written in Scripture because of his high education?!?! - if an eunuch is highly educated, how could he not understand the words whose meaning is quite literal, given that such a man could understand words whose meaning is figurative, let alone the simplicity of a simple message (after all, he is highly educated)?! i agree with the idea of literal six days(144 hours) creation, because, after all, God is the system Administrator and Provider of life and He has to provide the souls with abundant and eternal life as soon as possible - billions of years of (vain) evolution would frustrate/thwart His plans - so i say you are incredible with what you say about evolution - evolution is vain, God needs no evolution but as for the riddles, read the passage mentioned above (i.e. Matthew 13, more specifically, verses 10-13) - parables are a kind of riddles Blessings
-
i think systematic reading of Scripture is not the basis of what the spiritual servants and religious worshipers have to do as such - let's for example remember the case with the highly educated eunuch (of great authority under the queen of the ethiopians) (Acts 8:27-40), and especially what he said to St Philip when he asked Him "do you understand what you read?" ('cause he read the book of Isaiah) - he said "how could i, unless someone guides me?" - that man was so educated and fluent in foreign languages (including hebrew) and nevertheless said he can't be sure he understands what he reads - i don't think that most people can understand Scripture only by reading it Blessings
-
rather fewer scriptural words and verses - most scriptural words and expressions are figurative rather than literal for modern people here is an example of how many scriptural words are figurative and don't give a direct full explanation about the things they refer to: 1 Corinthians 9:9-11 (NHEB) "it is written in the Law of Moses, "Do not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain." Is it for the oxen that God cares, or does he say it assuredly for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes in the hope of having a share. If we sowed to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we reap your fleshly things?" so how many other words in Scripture have special meanings?! Blessings
-
i am not trying to impose anything on you some biblical words and verses can be taken literally, because their translation somehow turns out to be in line with the modern standards of literacy, but many other scriptural words and expressions are kind of figurative in a specific way, because the scriptural terms refer, first of all, to spiritual things/concepts, which are usually not known/familiar to people who haven't practiced the faith right(eously) enough, because they can be discerned/determined/understood only through righteous (practice of) faith 1 Corinthians 2:12-14 (AKJV) "we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." Blessings

do you remember that Jesus didn't approve and allow the scribes and pharisees to stone the woman (who they were caught in the very act of adultery/fornication) to death, but wrote with His finger on the ground "You shalt not kill." thus hinting to them that they hadn't understood the deuteronomical commandment for stoning? - Jesus showed how that commandment should be fulfilled by showing mercy to the woman, forgiving her sins and giving her an understanding of how not to sin - He stoned her with the holy means of God and thus killed her unrighteousness in her or do you remember that He said "maybe you have heard that it was said: an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, but i say to you, do not pay back evil for evil to anybody, but if any person treats you badly, treat them well..."?, He told them these things because many of them hadn't understood the meaning of that commandment("an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth"), which is: show your good eye to the evil eye, your good wisdom to the evil wisdom, your good treatment to the bad treatment, etc. so, many things that Jesus said were not quite literal, but He used scriptural terminology as in Matthew 16:6 Matthew 16:6-12 (NIV) "Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” They discussed this among themselves and said, “It is because we didn’t bring any bread.” Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, “You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread? Do you still not understand? Don’t you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? How is it you don’t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees." it wasn't an ark in the literal sense of the word, but consciousness of God in Noah, nor was the world flooded with water in the literal sense of the word, but with purgatorial spiritual forces of God - Noah was a witness to the righteousness of God, God wanted the righteous people and animals to survive and Noah had to preach/prophesy that to the whole universe 1 Peter 3:20-21 (HCSB) "God patiently waited in the days of Noah while an ark was being prepared. In it a few--that is, eight people--were saved through water. Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the pledge of a good conscience toward God) through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.", 2 Peter 2:5 (HCSB) "He didn't spare the ancient world, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others, when He brought a flood on the world of the ungodly;" Blessings
