  1. I do not see that at all. What I see (honestly, and without cruelty) is a theological mess, a hodgepodge of stacked together texts and unfounded reasoning. Again, not to be in any way harsh - that response was not in anyway associative of the context of Revelation 1:10, it's language and structure. So I will 'strongly disagree' with the assertion put forward that 'mia ton sabbaton' is in any way related to 'te kuriake [h]emera' and the context thereof. Also, please keep the discussion to the topic of the OP. The "wednesday" crucifixion theory cannot stand the test of scripture, and is not part of this thread's topic. If it is brought up again, moderation may become involved. If you want to discuss that topic, begin your own thread, please. Thank you. I have asked in Christian charity.
  2. Look at this, based upon the same idea! "The Lord's day" according to scripture (sola scriptura): Genesis 2:1-3,4 - 'the seventh day', 'God', 'day', 'the LORD God' [… God [the LORD] … day …] Exodus 16:23 - "to morrow [the seventh day] is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD', 'to day' [… the LORD … day …] Exodus 16:25 - 'to day [the seventh day]; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day' [... the LORD … day …] Exodus 20:8-11 - 'the sabbath day', 'the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God', 'the sabbath day' [… the LORD … day …] Exodus 31:15 - 'the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD ... the sabbath day' [… the LORD … day …] Exodus 35:2,3 - 'the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD', 'the sabbath day' [… the LORD … day …] Leviticus 23:3 - 'the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD' Deuteronomy 5:12,14 – 'the LORD', 'the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God' [… the LORD … day …] Psalms 92:1 - 'A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD' Isaiah 56:6 - 'Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath [day] from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant' (context new covenant) [… the LORD … [day] …] Isaiah 58:13 - 'the sabbath ... my [the LORD's] holy day ... the holy [day] of the Lord' [… [the LORD's] … day …] Isaiah 66:22,23 – 'the LORD', 'one sabbath [day] to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD' [… the LORD … [day] …] Jeremiah 17:21 - 'saith the LORD... on the sabbath day' [… the LORD … day …] Matthew 12:8 - 'the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day' [… the Lord … day …] Mark 2:28 - 'the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day' [… the Lord … day …] Luke 6:5 - 'the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath [day]' [… the Lord … [day] …] Revelation 1:10 - 'the Lord's day' Isaiah 58:13 seems to be the closest rendition. Here are some other translations of Isaiah 58:13 KJB - "... my [context, the LORD's] holy day ..." CJB - “... Adonai’s holy day ..." ERV - "... the Lord’s special day ..." EXB - “... the Lord’s holy day ..." GW - "... the Lord’s holy day ..." ICB - “... the Lord’s holy day ..." ISV - "... the Lord’s holy day ..." TLB - "... the Lord’s holy day ..." MSG - "... God’s holy day ..." NOG - "... Yahweh’s holy day ..." NABRE - "... the Lord’s holy day ..." NCV - "... the Lord’s holy day ..." NET - "... the Lord’s holy day ..." NIRV - "... the Lord’s holy day ..." NIV - "... the Lord’s holy day ..." NIVUK - "... the Lord’s holy day ..." NLT - "... the Lord’s holy day ..." TPT - "... Yahweh’s holy day ..." If only the context of Revelation 1 could be accurately shown to be referencing Isaiah 58:13, then we could be certain.
  3. What does that phrase have to do with Revelation 1:10 or Isaiah 58:13? "Mia ton Sabbaton" is transliterated koine Greek, which is not present in Revelation 1:10: Rev 1:10 εγενομην εν πνευματι εν τη κυριακη ημερα και ηκουσα οπισω μου φωνην μεγαλην ως σαλπιγγος The koine Greek phrase found in Revelation 1:10, is "τη κυριακη ημερα", which transliterated into English alphabet is "te kuriake [h]emera", not "mia ton Sabbaton". The two phrases are unrelated in context and language.
  4. Well, that is a good reference! That version of Isaiah 58:13 nearly says the exact phrase, and the only difference is the modifying adjective "holy" - "the Lord's holy day", and so if the adjective is removed, it would read, "the Lord's ... day". The context of that statement, would then point directly to the "the Sabbath", which would make "the Lord's ... day" the seventh day of the week. As for "Judgment day", that is not indicated by the Isaiah 58:13 text. The only other references that are somewhat close, and yet not the same thing are, "the Day of the Lord". That phrase, "the Day of the Lord" is associated with Judgment Day, yet that cannot be the day referred to in Revelation 1:10. John was actually "in the Spirit" "on" "the Lord's day". It refers to a specific day of the week, in which John saw such things, regarding past, present and future.
  5. Revelation 1:10 - "The Lord's Day". What is this scripturally? Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, I have heard many things in regards this text and the phrase in question, yet most that I have heard, refer to writings that come hundreds of years later, and those with mere guessing, without referring back to the scripture itself. So, exclusive of material written after the fact by orders of many years, what does the scripture itself teach on this subject? Immediate Context: Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. Rev 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Rev 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. Rev 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; Rev 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. Rev 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; Rev 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. Rev 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. Rev 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Rev 1:19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
  6. Yes, now see 1 Corinthians 15:46. [1] Natural [2] Spiritual See that the law of priests has changed in Hebrews. [1] natural lamb - fuzzy creature - Genesis 3:15,21 [2] spiritual Lamb - Jesus Christ - John 1:29,36
  7. Yes, "wise as serpents", not practicing the things of the serpent. They were called "deceivers" by others, but were actually "true". They were not actually deceivers or practicing deception. Hopefully that makes sense.
  8. The words are the same. Yes. But as shown you from scripture, God lives forever (the eternal fire), not the wicked, which are not indwelt by God. God is a "consuming fire" to sin. Only the righteous dwell with "everlasting burnings", not the wicked. So, the "aeon" is determined by the material itself (thus they become "ashes", "as the fat of lambs", &c), and the condition that surrounds it (it lasts only as long as there is material to burn, for once fire has nothing more to burn it dies of itself (it was not "quenched" (forcibly put out)), then God uses that carbon, and recreates the New Earth there and the only thing that came through was the Ark of New Jerusalem that floated on the Sea (Lake) of Fire. The righteous live with God for ever (aeon), but the wicked are perished (gone) for ever (aeon). Aeon just means a period of unspecified time. Context always dictates it's uses as shown. The scriptures have shown that "aeon" can come to an end. The fire that consumes them on earth (Rev. 20; Isa. 24, &c) is simply an aeonian fire. Just as Noah's flood. It comes up (and rain falls) for a time and then goes away. The wicked do not get eternal existence, neither are eternally tortured. They cease to be for ever. The "torment" is but for a "season", while "2nd death" is lasting. The one leads to the other. Do not make the "torment" the eternal portion and death (oblivion) non existent, otherwise they will have never suffered the wages for sin..
  9. Uh-huh, how does the Bible define "everlasting fire"? Mat 25:41 τοτε ερει και τοις εξ ευωνυμων πορευεσθε απ εμου οι κατηραμενοι εις το πυρ το αιωνιον το ητοιμασμενον τω διαβολω και τοις αγγελοις αυτου The devil is cast into the "lake of fire", which as already shown doesn't exist eternally. It was also shown that the devil will be "no more", burnt up into "ashes". "No place" was found for the finally impenitent. Heaven is eternal, no doubt, for God Himself is Eternal Life, and the redeemed will be indwelt by God throughout eternity, but the wicked are not so indwelt, but are found to be outside of God, rather than abiding in God. And since they are found outside of God, they are found outside of eternal life. How then are the wicked to have eternal existence? The similar words, of Revelation 20:10, "even for ever and ever", are Koine Greek, "εις τους αιωνας των αιωνων", which when seen in their context, locally and globally through the scripture [KJB], do not always mean eternal, but can mean limited in time, and can even deal with distance, or even spacial ["world"]. Can an "αιων" [aiwn, aeon, in either time, distance or space] come to an end? Yes, even as Paul shows in Hebrews: Hebrew 9:26 KJB - For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. Hebrew 9:26 KJB - επει εδει αυτον πολλακις παθειν απο καταβολης κοσμου νυν δε απαξ επι συντελεια των αιωνων εις αθετησιν αμαρτιας δια της θυσιας αυτου πεφανερωται Notice, "end of the world [aeon]". Notice again: Titus 2:12 KJB - Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Titus 2:12 KJB - παιδευουσα ημας ινα αρνησαμενοι την ασεβειαν και τας κοσμικας επιθυμιας σωφρονως και δικαιως και ευσεβως ζησωμεν εν τω νυν αιωνι Notice, "in this present world [aeon]", which indicates that there is an end to the current "world", or existence, and another "world" [aeon], or existence, to follow after it. Thus and "aeon" can come to an end, and is not necessarily eternal. See also "since the world began", "before this world", "this present evil world", "this world", in Matthew 12:32, Matthew 13:22, Matthew 13:39-40 (2), Matthew 13:49, Matthew 24:3, Matthew 28:20, Mark 4:19, Mark 10:30, Luke 1:70, Luke 16:8, Luke 18:30, Luke 20:34-35 (2), John 9:32, Acts 3:21, Acts 15:18, Romans 12:2, 1 Corinthians 1:20, 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 (4), 1 Corinthians 3:18, 1 Corinthians 8:13, 1 Corinthians 10:11, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Galatians 1:4, Ephesians 1:21, Ephesians 3:9, Ephesians 3:21, Ephesians 6:12, 1 Timothy 6:17, 2 Timothy 4:10, Tit 2:12, Hebrews 6:5, Hebrews 9:26; and etc. We now see that "aeon's" can begin, and end, and are not always ongoing without ceasing, and thus context always determines the length, distance, existence, etc. Notice how the Bible uses the word "for ever": Jonah 2:6 KJB - I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God. In both distance and time, it is impossible for the word "for ever" in Jonah to be eternal, or without end. Not only does earth have limited space [thus "ends of the earth", dry land is earth, see Genesis 1], but Jonah was only 3 days and 3 nights, timewise, in the belly: Jonah 1:17 KJB - Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. Therefore, in either care, "for ever" is limited, in this instance, in distance and time. In Deuteronomy 23:3 KJB, “forever” means 10 generations. It can also mean “as long as he lives,” or “to death.”; thus see 1 Samuel 1:22, 28; Exodus 21:6; Psalm 48:14 KJB. The redeemed will have eternal life, because Jesus is eternal life, but the wicked will never have eternal existence: Psalms 21:4 KJB - He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever. Ecclesiastes 8:13 KJB - But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God. Iniquity must be purged and cleansed from the universe, and it will not happen until the wicked cease to be: Isaiah 22:14 KJB - And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts. Psalms 37:10 KJB - For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. When will these verses be fulfilled in your understanding: Malachi 4:1 KJB - For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. Malachi 4:3 KJB - And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. The example of the burning bush, is the perfect example of Christ Jesus in us [the redeemed] in type. It is not an example of how the wicked will be, since Christ Jesus is not in them: Penitently redeemed: John 14:20 KJB - At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. John 15:4 KJB Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Exodus 3:2 KJB - And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. Stubbornly wicked: John 5:38 KJB - And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. John 8:37 KJB - I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. John 5:42 KJB - But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. Exodus 33:5 KJB - For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee. Notice the contrast between Exodus 3:2, with Christ Jesus in the midst of the bush, and the bush was "not consumed", and then see Exodus 33:5, wherein the peoples did not have Christ Jesus abiding within, and were about to be totally "consumed". Do not let the word "everlasting" in modern English bring confusion to you, so that you deny all of the places, already cited, that clearly show the devil (all the wicked angels and all the finally impenitent) to be destroyed and gone forever, never to be seen again. Let the Bible define the word by its context.
  10. Uh-huh. They are annihilated. Not forgiven. They receive the fullness of penalty - 2nd death. They aren't forgiven. Ever.
  11. Hello MANY LIES iXiPOSED (you do know that writing backwards is an occult thing?, just consider Aleister Crowley, in his Thelema, like Microsoft's Xobni [InBox], Michael Jackson's "back sliding", etc For it normally requires mirrors which spiritualists love to use, just like Michael Jackson) Jesus said: Mat_5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. For instance, sacrifices: Psa_51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Psa_107:22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing. Rom_12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Heb_13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Why? Heb_13:10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. Circumcision still applies: Deu_10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked. Deu_30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. Jer_4:4 Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. Rom_2:26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? For instance: Lev_21:9 And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire. This law still exists. It will be executed even: Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. For that false system claims to be a daughter of the High Priest Jesus. Another example: Lev 23:4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. Lev 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S passover. This law still exists and to be kept, yet notice: 1Co 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Thus what Jesus said was/is true, even now. Even the Stone the Sabbath breaker still applies The Law of Tithe still applies, see Hebrews 7; 1 Corinthians 9 &c. The Law of Clean/Unclean still apples, see Matthew 23; Luke 11; Acts 10, 15, Revelation 18, etc. The spiritual Law of the Ten Commandments, still and always will, apply, see Romans 7:7; James 1-2; 1 John; Revelation 14, 22; &c. The blue is merely symbolic for God's Law. The mixture is the natural which explains the spiritual, do not be "lukewarm" (as linen was for warm, and wool for cool), see 1 Corinthians 15:46. Doorpost is the heart, which is where Jesus is knocking. See Revelation. Our Jerusalem is New Jerusalem above. Our Passover is Christ Jesus, as Paul says, therefore "Let us keep the feast" (not as in type, but in antitype). The Law is written upon the forehead/hand, which means heart/actions. It never meant literally write in/on your flesh, or wear it externally.
  12. Yes, it is as shown from "all Bible verses" I just cited. I am glad you "have a Bible" your"self". Read it more carefully, so I won't have to cite so much. I do not have any questions for you. I am teaching you from the scripture. One of the gifts in the Church is "teachers". I have such a gift from God. You might just want to listen to those texts. I do not need answers from you. I "have [the] Bible myself". Again, I am responding to your error from scripture. The question mark was rhetorical. I do not seek answers from men, but from God's word. It is God that teaches me, being my School Master. I am not interested in what "reads better for everyone". I am presenting the scripture (Psalms 119 is 176 vss, and Isaiah is 66 chapters, do you say TL'DR?). Read it or not, but you are judged in Heaven by what you could have known but refused to know, because of physical and spiritual indolence (big word for "lazy"). Thank's for the P.S., but someOne else is in charge of me. So, I have to go with Him. 2Ti_4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Isa_58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Luk_24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. The God I believe in, is not as yours. My LORD God (JEHOVAH Elohiym), Love, doesn't torture people/beings for ever and ever. God is "long suffering", not eternally suffering the wicked to live. Jesus "once suffered", and then died, which is the wages for sin.
  13. Do the scriptures teach the Annihilation of the Wicked in the 2nd Death? The Bible says: All darkness [shall be] hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle. (Job 20:26) This [is] the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God. (Job 20:29) For what portion of God [is there] from above? and [what] inheritance of the Almighty from on high? (Job 31:2) [Is] not destruction to the wicked? and a strange [punishment] to the workers of iniquity? (Job 31:3) The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God. (Psalms 9:17) Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. (Psalms 7:9) Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: [this shall be] the portion of their cup. (Psalms 11:6) Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them. (Psalms 21:9) For yet a little while, and the wicked [shall] not [be]: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it [shall] not [be]. (Psalms 37:10) But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD [shall be] as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. (Psalms 37:20) For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. (Psalms 37:28) But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. (Psalms 37:38) As smoke is driven away, [so] drive [them] away: as wax melteth before the fire, [so] let the wicked perish at the presence of God. (Psalms 68:2) Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous. (Psalms 69:28) For in the hand of the LORD [there is] a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring [them] out, [and] drink [them]. (Psalms 75:8) All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; [but] the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. (Psalms 75:10) When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; [it is] that they shall be destroyed for ever: (Psalms 92:7) For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. (Psalms 92:9) Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD. (Psalms 104:35) And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked. (Psalms 106:18) The wicked shall see [it], and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish. (Psalms 112:10) The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. (Psalms 145:20) But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it. (Proverbs 2:22) As the whirlwind passeth, so [is] the wicked no [more]: but the righteous [is] an everlasting foundation. (Proverbs 10:25) The hope of the righteous [shall be] gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. (Proverbs 10:28) The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth. (Proverbs 10:30) The wicked are overthrown, and [are] not: but the house of the righteous shall stand. (Proverbs 12:7) The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out. (Proverbs 13:9) The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish. (Proverbs 14:11) For there shall be no reward to the evil [man]; the candle of the wicked shall be put out. (Proverbs 24:20) Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4) The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. (Ezekiel 18:20) Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. (Isaiah 13:9) They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one [tree] in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 66:17) And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. (Isaiah 66:24) For while [they be] folden together [as] thorns, and while they are drunken [as] drunkards, they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry. (Nahum 1:10) For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, [so] shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been. (Obadiah 1:16) I will utterly consume all [things] from off the land, saith the LORD. (Zephaniah 1:2) I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD. (Zephaniah 1:3) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (James 1:15) And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) But that which beareth thorns and briers [is] rejected, and [is] nigh unto cursing; whose end [is] to be burned. (Hebrews 6:8) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. (2 Peter 3:10) And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. Begin to ask, where are the all of the wicked [including Satan and his angels] standing in Revelation 20:8-9? Do they [the wicked] live there eternally or are they rather not completely destroyed so that the New Heaven and the New Earth may be created there, wherein dwelleth righteousness, peace, no more tears, pain or sorrow or sin or satan? "...and there was found no place for them." Revelation 20:11;p Dan 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. The Lake of Fire will not last forever on earth, it will cease to exist: Please read these texts together, what do you see [ignore for a moment the chapter division]? Revelation 20:14 KJB - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:15 KJB - And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 21:1 KJB - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Revelation 21:2 KJB - And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelation 21:3 KJB - And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Revelation 21:4 KJB - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:5 KJB - And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. While Revelation 21:1 KJB states that in the New Heaven and New Earth there will be no more "sea" [water, the vast chasm of] as such we have now [due to the flood of Noah], with restless waves, separating friends and loved ones, but instead broad rivers, etc, as per: Isaiah 33:14 KJB - The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? Isaiah 33:15 KJB - He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; Isaiah 33:16 KJB - He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Isaiah 33:17 KJB - Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off. Isaiah 33:18 KJB - Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers? Isaiah 33:19 KJB - Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand. Isaiah 33:20 KJB - Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken. Isaiah 33:21 KJB - But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby. [see also Ezekiel 47:1-6 KJB] Isaiah 33:22 KJB - For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us. Isaiah 33:23 KJB - Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey. Isaiah 33:24 KJB - And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity. The text also reveals that the "lake of fire", even the fiery "sea" will have passed away also [for to "pass away", is to "die"], for it was upon this old earth, look again [ignore the chapter break for a moment, just read it straight through]: Revelation 20:14 KJB - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:15 KJB - And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 21:1 KJB - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. In scripture, a "Sea" = "Lake" [whether of water, fire, etc]: Luke 5:1 - "the lake of Gennesaret" [see "sea of Chinnereth" [Numbers 34:11 KJB], [see also "Chinnereth" [Deuteronomy 3:17; Joshua 19:35 KJB]] or "sea of Chinneroth" [Joshua 12:3 KJB], or "of Gennesaret" [Matthew 14:34; Mark 6:53 KJB]; Matthew 8:27; Mark 4:39,41 KJB uses the word "sea" and John 6:1 says, "sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias". The very word "lake" in the Koine Greek in Revelation 20:14,15 is λιμνην [limnen]. In 2 Peter 2:5 [see also 2 Peter 3:6] KJB, Peter says "flood upon the world", yet in the Koine Greek, it is "κατακλυσμον κοσμω", a 'cosmic cataclysm'. Such devastation and destruction as has never been known, and will never again be known [by water], but will again be by fire. If one were to read Genesis 7-8 KJB carefully they will see that it took some time for all [human-kind] outside of the ark to finally perish, and not all perished at the same time. The wages for sin is death, even from Genesis 2:17 KJB, but the final punishment, being death, is preceded by terrors, anguish, torment, all limited and depending upon the deeds done in the body [Romans 2:6; jude 1:15 KJB], as it is written. So to die of thirst in such a cataclysm takes several days, while being crushed by a large piece of exploded land, or tree, or debris is near instantaneous. Each is just. Each received the length of time in torment, suffering, that was due, and both received the final end, death. From what I read, according to the texts, the New Jerusalem, comes down from God out of Heaven, and lands upon the earth [old], and remains there [even while God re-creates the earth around it after the "lake of fire" event]. Are you telling me, that all of the wicked who have ever lived will be permanently existing outside of the New Jerusalem for all of eternity, in this vast "lake of fire", which would cover the entire face of the New Earth [as it is anti-type to Noah; and think of how many billions have existed since "cain"]? If so, it sounds like such a teaching as that has the wicked inheriting the position of existing all over the face of the New Earth. Does the righteous, in your belief, ever inherit the entire New Earth just for themselves where there is no more pain, etc? Or do you envision this "lake of fire" eternally existing outside of the New Jerusalem, being in view throughout eternity? Where then is the "lake of Fire" locationally, in this 'eternity' of yours? The "lake of fire" could not just be 'anywhere'. That is incorrect according to the scriptures cited. It is clearly just outside and surrounding the New Jerusalem, once it comes down from God out of Heaven and rests upon this [old] earth: Revelation 20:9 KJB - And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. Revelation 20:10 KJB - And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. As for some peoples wild escape plan theology, to avoid these obvious conclusoins, in a desparate attempt, say it exists in 'another dimension'! That is also not scriptural [KJB], and is "sci-fi" [science falsely so called; 1 Timothy 6:20 KJB], and they simply made it up [or borrowed it] to escape the inevitable conclusion of my pointed questions, and the clearly cited texts and evidences. The "lake of fire" is entirely visible to those inside of the New Jerusalem [once it comes down and the fire falls and comes up], for the whole universe must witness the final result of the punishment and the wages for sin, so that sin will never arise again, Psalms 91:8 KJB - Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. What others say of the matter or think of the matter, is irrelevant. What matters is what scripture [KJB] says and teaches. It is for us to know right now, for God hath spoken it even from the beginning: Deuteronomy 29:29 KJB - The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. The "lake of fire" and its location, and how it comes about [fire from Heaven above, and from within the earth, as like unto the days of Noah with the waters, with the New Jerusalem resting above it all, all of the saved inside, preserved through it], is no secret, but plainly revealed, but will you accept what it says and teaches, along with the results thereof, or will you continue to put forth non-scriptural ideology? Psalms 140:10 KJB - Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again. Psalms 11:6 KJB - Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. Psalms 7:9 KJB - Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. Malachi 4:1 KJB - For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

  17. Hi 101G, I must take my stand with scripture (KJB) which disagrees with your position that "Jesus is the Holy Spirit". There are "three" persons, as Hebrews 1 and 1 John 5:7, Matthew 28, etc reveals: Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 1Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (the word "one" scripturally means working together, or united in purpose) Isa_48:16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me. The person of Holy Spirit/Ghost comes in Jesus' name (just as Jesus came in the Father's name; John 14), as Jesus' representative or ambassador, or messenger, being sent by the Father and the Son, in the place of, or stead of, the person of the Son on earth, while the Son is ascended to the right hand of the person of the Father. Joh_14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Joh 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. Joh_14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. In John 14:18,28, Jesus stated that He will come again unto the disciples, and firstly this is through the person of the Holy Ghost/Spirit, the ambassador for Jesus, coming in His (Jesus) name and secondly, it will take place at the second coming, wherein Jesus, the person of the Son, returns, John 14:1-3, etc. As stated, Jesus is "a" Father (Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 2:13; Isaiah 8:16,18, "me"), not "the" Father (Isaiah 8:18; "LORD"). See previous post. The Father: "His person" (Job 13:8); "form of God" (Philippians 2:6), "shape" (John 5:37), "image" (Genesis 1:26,27; Hebrews 1:3), "likeness" (Genesis 1:26,27), "being" (Acts 17:28), has a very real movable "Throne" on which He sits (Daniel 7:9-10; Revelation 4-5, &c), has "the hair of his head like the pure wool" (Daniel 7:9), "whose garment was white as snow" (Daniel 7:9), has a "right hand" (Revelation 5:1; Acts 7:55-56), able to be looked upon, "to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone" (Revelation 4:2), having His own "nature" (Galatians 4:8). The Son also always had such from eternity: See also "back parts" (Exodus 33:23), and even a "divine nature" (2 Peter 1:4), see also "under his feet" (Exodus 24:20), "express image" (Hebrews 1:3) and He sits on the Throne "with" His Father, see John 1:1-3; 1 John 1:1-3; Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. The Holy Ghost/Spirit is always listed individually and distinctly from the Persons of the Father and that of the Son. Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
  18. Psa 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Psa 12:7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
  19. The Holy Spirit is “another Comforter”, verily a Person, even as the Father and the Son [Jesus] are Comforters and are “Persons” [Deuteronomy 27:25; Matthew 27:24; 2 Corinthians 2:10; Hebrews 1:3 KJB]: John 14:16 KJB - And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; John 14:26 KJB - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 15:26 KJB - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: John 16:7 KJB - Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. The Holy Spirit is identified with terminology as being God [not the person/being of the Father or the person/being of the Son]: Acts 5:3 KJB - But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Acts 5:4 KJB - Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. Act 5:9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. The Holy Spirit wills and is omniscient: 1 Corinthians 12:11 KJB - But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. Colossians 2:2 KJB - That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; Colossians 2:3 KJB - In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
  20. The Ancient of Days [Daniel 7:9,13,22 KJB] is The Heavenly Father which is "Our Father who art in Heaven ..." [Matthew 6:9; Luke 11:2; KJB etc.] The Son, Jesus Christ is also a Father [Isaiah 9:6 KJB], see Matthew 2:13-15; Hosea 11:1 [He is true Israel, and as true Israel, he has children, even twelve tribes [James 1:1 KJB], see Revelation 7:3-8; 14:1-5 KJB], then turn to Hebrews 2:9-13; Isaiah 8:8-20 [which Hebrews quotes, see Hebrews 2:13; Isaiah 8:18 KJB], for His disciples are His "children" that the Father gave unto Him [see also John 13:33 KJB], being the true "overcomer" [John 16:33; Revelation 3:21 KJB], the real "Prince" with God [Isaiah 9:6; Daniel 8:11,25, 9:25, 10:13,21, 11:22, 12:1; Acts 3:15, 5:31; Revelation 1:5 KJB], being Lord over His own house, whose house are we [Psalms 98:3; Hebrews 3:6; Jeremiah 31:33 KJB], who himself is the "elect" [Isaiah 42:1; Matthew 12:18; 1 Peter 2:6 KJB] of the Father, in whom all the promises of God find their realization [2 Corinthians 1:20 KJB]. The Holy Ghost/Spirit is also a Father, for "the man" Christ Jesus was born of the Holy Ghost; see Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:35 KJB, and we as Christians are "babes", even "born again" [1 Peter 1:23 KJB] of the Holy Ghost [John 3:3,5,6,7,8 KJB], and thus we are "born of God", the Holy Ghost [John 1:13; 1 John 3:9, 4:7, 5:1,4,18 KJB] They are all Fathers, but not the same person/being, nor in the same manner. They are all Creators [Makers; Ecclesiastes 12:1 HOT, see also 'septuaginta'], and thus they are all Head over all creation [body].
  21. Do not be deceived by the word "Powers" into thinking you are dealing with a mere force, since the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost/Spirit, as well as unfallen [as Gabriel and legions of Light] and fallen angels [as Lucifer and legions of Lie-ght], etc are all designated as "powers", each whom are living persons, living beings, see Heavenly “powers” (simply means an 'authority', see also 1 Peter 3:22 KJB, "authorities"): Ephesians 1:20 KJB - Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Ephesians 1:21 KJB - Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: Ephesians 3:10 KJB - To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, Ephesians 6:12 KJB - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Colossians 1:16 KJB - For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Titus 3:1 KJB - Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, 1 Peter 3:22 KJB - Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
  22. Some stumble over the Holy Spirit being called “it”, and by this claim that He is only a force, a power, a non-intelligence. Yet, they should also recognize that Jesus was called “it” [Revelation 12:4 KJB], “child” [Revelation 12:2,4,5 KJB], “holy thing” [Luke 1:35 KJB] and “holy child” [Acts 4:27,30 KJB], all of which are also neuter gender. Jesus is still a "person" [Hebrews 1:3; 2 Corinthians 2:10 KJB] and masculine. The Father in Heaven, who indeed is a "person" [Hebrews 1:3; Job 13:8 KJB], is also given neuter terms, such as "Ancient of Days" [Daniel 7:9,13,22 KJB] and "Majesty" [Hebrews 1:3, 8:1 KJB], "I AM", "the living" [Matthew 16:16, 26:63; John 6:69; Acts 14:15 KJB], "Maker" [Job 36:3; Hosea 8:14; Hebrews 11:10 KJB], "Creator" [Romans 1:25; 1 Peter 4:19 KJB], and even referred to as "it" connected with "this voice", and "angel" (message) [John 12:29 KJB], etc, etc. The wicked angels, also "persons" (fallen, contrasted to unfallen) [Luke 15:7 KJB], are also called “it” [Luke 8:29, 9:39, 11:14, etc. KJB], but they too are intelligent [though created] beings and cited in the masculine. Neuter terms do not automatically mean inanimate, for instance, the terms “child”, “babe”, “person”, “mail-carrier”, “flight attendant”, etc.
