  1. Not in all states and it is not mentioned in the New Testament, just the old.
  2. It is not a Biblical word, and it means different things to different people. You can be legalistic in the eyes of one but not another.
  3. I believe covid 19 is here to stay. Like the flu, it will return each year.
  4. Does that mean you think a man can marry his sister and follow the horoscope today? How about marrying his mother if his father died? There is no New Testament scripture forbidding it. Also, the word legalism is not found in the Bible.
  5. Do you think it is ok for a man to marry his sister? Do you think it is ok to follow horoscopes? There are no New Testament scriptures forbidding either practice and there is no scripture that says legalism is bad.
  6. If you really to be safe, stop riding motorcycles. They are not safe or necessary.
  7. I agree with that. We should try our best to obey those with the rule over us, but I disagree with the mandates. I still try to obey them. How come people see disobeying this law as rebellion, but when we say to obey the Bible it is called legalism?
  8. You don't like their finger lickin good chicken?
  9. It is a manufactured crisis. There is no reason to shut everything down. It is about controlling people to see what we will put up with, and it is an attempt to destroy world economies so we will come together and accept a global system.
  10. I think it is more about the new world order than forcing us to become vegetarians. I do think the new world order crowd wants to hurt Trump, but it goes deeper than that. This is a global issue. By the way, I oppose all these mandatory shut downs.
  11. I suspect it is to harm the world economy to usher in the beast system. I think it is about a one world monetary system to the rescue.
  12. What is kind of funny to me is how people are attacking Christians for questioning the way that woman is dressed, judging them, while calling their judgemental attitude sinful and hypocritical. It is a 2 way street.
  13. I read it, but did you look at the picture? How could it not turn into this? Is it ok to question anything anyone does? What about going by a house with a Christmas tree, and saying a Christian shouldn't celebrate a pagan holiday? The person with the tree is saying it is about Jesus, not paganism. Are people sinning to share opinions on both sides?
  14. The book about a boy wearing a skirt that a Christian women's group opposes, is about a skirt made for him to fit him by his mother. They saw this as teaching boys it is fine to wear effeminate clothes. There is no difference.
  15. If it is all about intent, even with modesty, some women think a bikini is fine, while others feel the need to be more covered. Some see a mini-skirt or short shorts and a tank top as fine, while others don't. People will always make judgements about the right and wrong of things. I don't know of any church that would let a man teach Sunday School wearing a skirt (not a kilt). Why?
  16. Robes have never been specific to gender. Robes are not dresses. If I seek to buy a robe, I don't go to the dress department.
  17. I believe dresses pertain to women and pants pertain to men. It is my position that people just started marketing men's clothes to women.
  18. Actually, it isn't wrong. Women would clearly judge a man as wrong to wear a dress. Concerned Women For America have been fighting against a book about a little boy wearing a skirt. I have just as much right to judge masculine and feminine as you have.
  19. I don't see any difference in what you said and me saying a real Christian wouldn't dress like that woman, and I can say that because it is a cartoon. I wouldn't even say that, because I think it is too judgmental. I can see behavior as wrong without judging if someone is saved.
  20. I have seen people come in here telling us it is wrong to celebrate Christmas and Easter and saying we need to keep the 7th day Sabbath, and I am always respectful of them. At the same time, I don't see others affording me and others the same courtesy. I also have encountered a woman here who defended women in pants, but attacked the way a woman came to her church over something she thought inappropriate. I disagree with the whole premise of the OP that we should be all accepting, and given the picture, there was no way to avoid pants coming up.
  21. I was asked about a situation where pants were made some way where a man would look effeminate in them, not masculine at all. I was saying that women that wear them place a stumbling block in front of other women to wear fashions that are masculine. It isn't a stumbling block to men, unless some decide to be trailblazers and try to make feminine clothes mainstream for men.
  22. It's a stumbling block to other women who would dress in masculine apparel and sin.
  23. The Bible warns us not to place a stumbling block in front of others.
